Annabelle's POV
So I have no idea what to do, the meeting ended up being cancelled today and we still haven't finalise the launch date, we have two weeks and summer is done and I still haven't released my highly anticipated line. Jason texted me to have dinner but had to cancel due to work.

At least so I thought, but today Sophie called to tell me he was found laying unconscious in the office and I can't help but wonder how come and what did he do? The thought of him getting into trouble again was coming back to me, I was trying to take that thought out of my head but the more I tried the harder it gets.

I called but he wasn't picking up, he wasn't even responding to my texts either, I didn't know where he was because he left Sophie's place in a rush and he's also not home, right now am at Maddie's office for her lunch break.

"So should we be expecting a joint wedding soon?" She teases at me.

We we're at sunbucks right by their office, "John Preston media house" it was a cafe and she usually goes there since it's near by, I decided to visit since I don't know what to do with this spare time on my plate or well I gave myself the day off, Kelly was finalising the meeting today without me. Hopefully she does well then maybe she'll get on my good side.

"I don't know, he's already getting into trouble Mads what do I do?" I whine at her barely touching the food.

"Its Jason trust me when I say he's better now, no worries okay?" She tries to lighten my mood up.

"Maybe you're right, enough about me though how's my favourite couple doing?" I asked sipping the coke I ordered. "I really admire you two, you actually made it this far no problems and you're having a baby too, how crazy is that? Who thought Alex would be this responsible huh." I added but she was still quiet.

I studied her face and she looked worried with a hint of guilt also.

''Are you okay?" I asked again and she simply nodded.

''Am fine, just pre jitters," She brushes me off before standing up abruptly, "my break is over I'll see you later." She walks away rudely, something is definitely up with her but I don't understand why she can't tell me.

I was about to pay and go when a familiar face joins me on the table.

"Its you again." I smiled at her, it was Patricia I totally forgot about her.

"Sorry I haven't called or visited I just thought you had a lot on you at the moment." She started talking immediately.

"Calm down, you can report tomorrow, I need a new fashion advisor anyway," I stopped her and I couldn't help but smile when her face lights up.

"Thank you, I can't thank you enough." She stands up to hug me and that caught me off guard, am definitely not a hugger anymore that's for sure.

"Well I have to go, see you tomorrow." I stood up immediately she let's go, I needed to treat myself for the day since am blowing off work, so I headed for the spa.

I just got back this evening and I was getting ready to shower and go by my usuals, Kelly called and told me everything went well and we can launch soon, I was thinking of throwing a party to celebrate my first swimsuit line but I'll need some expertise on that.

I was in my bathtub for a bubble bath when my phone rings Immediately, I quickly stretch and put it on speaker.

"Anna dear." I hear my mom's voice, I haven't seen her in like forever, I don't even know why I didn't visit her back in London but, then again I was busy the whole week.

"Hey mom, am kinda of busy," I say at the end of the line.

"Well excuse me for checking in, why didn't I know you were in London, I never see you again." She starts speaking in a low tone.

"Mom I'll call you back okay?" I simply said before turning it off, am so not ready for her complaints at the moment, I am a grown woman and I do what I want.

After my bath I change into something comfortable and tried Jason's line but still no answer, it just went straight to voice mail. Making myself a hot beverage I sit in the living room watching TV for the rest of the day.

I ended up falling asleep before a alarming noise from the kitchen woke me up. I went to check what it was but I felt a large bang on my head and everything went blank.

Jason's POV
"Who's Ronnie?"  I repeated myself again after helping him, he looked so uneasy.

"What do you mean boy?" He tried to pretend, but I was done with this games.

''Am serious pa, did you know I got attacked yesterday by that so called woman and she robbed me off my bag?" I added taking a seat by him running my hands through my hair frustrated.

"What? Are they any important document in there?" He asked puzzled.

"Seriously that's all you care about, you really are like him." I find myself saying, I didn't want to speak bad about my dad but there's really no difference between them.

"Just answer the question." He came at me and I had it already.

"No just work related, am leaving." I stood up and headed for the door, making sure I slam the door at him.

I can't believe all he cared was if I had any important document, what document anyway? It's not like I walk around with legal documents all the time, they're all locked up safe In Emma's room, no one will suspect it.

"Is everything alright cariño?" My ma asked when she saw me.

"No mas. (No more)" I simply said and made my way out.

I went back home in anger and went straight to my room to rest my head.

I ended up working from home for hours. I didn't even notice Emma wasn't around but then again it's not that late, it's wasn't even late yet, I was working on my system when suddenly my phone came up, it was Annabelle. Shoot I totally forgot about her.

It was a video of her looked in a room chained, she wasn't even awake but I was confused, could this be Ronnie's doing, suddenly a message from emma came through too, she was also looked up chained in the room.

That was when it all came clear to me, I haven't heard from them in a while, I didn't know what to do just then a message from a private number came through.

Pick one or they both get it.

And that was it, I kept staring at my screen for the next ten minutes wondering what to do.
