Majoring and being a Junior in Performing Arts is good, especially if it's what you've dreamed for. Taehyung likes the workshops, the auditions, the theater and the excitement of performing. It's been his dream to become a theater actor since he was little and he likes the feeling of having to stand on stage in front of many faces and be able to portray different characters in live performances.
He wishes to become one. Just like his brother Kim Seokjin.
But right now, it's not what it feels like. And as he'd said, he likes workshops BUT only on school days NOT on holidays.
Kim Taehyung is annoyed. In fact he's practically seething.
Apparently, he's sitting in an armchair, arms crossed and huffing. Their coordinator speaking at the front of the conference room about god-knows-what, and Taehyung thinks Mr. Lee is taking the time of his life there, and not bothering about the time.
It's already summer, and all students that are in the drama club are required to participate in the workshop for two weeks after the class ended.
That means, Taehyung is stuck at school for two more weeks.
That means, he'll be alone in his room, without Jimin his bff, for two weeks.
That means he can't go see his beloved nephew and niece for two weeks.
For god's sake, it's summer! He'll miss two weeks of summer for this stupid workshop. Not that he's bragging, but Taehyung is one of the best students in the club and already had his fair share of lead acting. He doesn't think he needs more of this workshop thing.
As soon as Taehyung realizes his impending doom, he slumps his head onto the table and groans. Stupid drama club, he thinks. They are like in a love-hate relationship.
"Argh." He closes his eyes and does his best to drown away Mr. Lee's voice, just wanted to wallow in his misery. Then his phone in his pocket vibrates.
chimmy:
Dude, i can feel your suffering from here. Cheer up! Im meeting the lil munchkins later! Dont worry i'll cover for you.
Taehyung softens at the mention of his munchkins. He really missed them already.
taetae:
Im dying, come pick up my body! Please!
chimmy:
Dont be ridiculous
taetae:
M'not! Ugh. Pls tell them i miss them already! Pass them my kisses! Mwamwa smooch smooch
He puts down his phone and thinks about the succeeding days he'll get to spend alone in the dorm. Sure he has friends in the drama club too, but Jimin is the only bestest friend that he could be comfortable with. Suddenly, his phone vibrates again.
chimmy:
EeWwWwWwWw
He snorts at Jimin and didn't bother to reply anymore. He looks at the front with furrowed brows and determined look. Two weeks are not that long. In no time, he'll be having his well-deserved summer break. Ah fuck this.

Here's a little background of the Kims...
Kim Seokjin is Taehyung's older brother, an alumnus of their university who is one of the top theater actor in his time. Their parents died a long time ago, and from then on, they only had each other. Seokjin knew he did it when he played the role of Emil Sinclair in Demian, from that little school play, he started his road to success.
There he met the director of the play, Kim Namjoon. They had gotten along with each other, fell inlove along the way. And after another success from The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas, they decided to be together.
Years after, both were professionals, traveling places for every opportunity in cinematography and theater. They loved and lived, and after years of being together, they decided to settle down. Taehyung was just in highschool that time when they formed a family, adopted kids and settled in Daegu.
The twins were the apple of their eyes and Taehyung loves them with all his heart. Whenever Namjoon and Seokjin have work, he makes himself available just to accompany the kids. He spends his vacation days with the family and he's satisfied. Over time, Taehyung also began to picture out his future to be just like his older brother's.
And just a month ago, Seokjin had called Taehyung that they needed to move to Busan. A company had offered Namjoon to direct an indie film and Seokjin to give workshop to the actors. He had no choice but to agree, and apologized for not having to help moving out, to which Seokjin didn't mind.
So after two dreadful weeks of drama club workshop in the university, Taehyung finds himself sitting in a train to Busan instead of heading to Daegu. He's quite glad though, since Jimin is from Busan, maybe they could go together during vacations.
Taehyung leans his head back to his seat, sighs in relief and rolls his shoulders in relaxation. Finally, he's going home and can't wait to spend his vacation stress-free.

Taehyung spots Namjoon standing by the exit and waves a hand to catch his attention. The older smiles at the sight of him and the two hug for a moment.
"You lookin good, Taehyung-ah" Namjoon said, dimples visible while smiling, as soon as they parted. The two walk towards Namjoon's black Mercedes and get in, the older helping Taehyung with his bags.
"How's your new life in Busan, hyung?" Taehyung started while looking out the streets and be amazed by how the place is surrounded by sea.
"So far, so good. The kids are enjoying here. I hope you will too." Namjoon replies with enthusiasm.
Taehyung nods, quite agreeing. He'll probably enjoy here, now that he can meet with Jimin anytime. "Did they miss me?"
Namjoon looks confused for a while thinking who Taehyung was referring to, but then he breaks into wide smile, followed by a chuckle. "Yeah, they missed you. As soon as summer had started, all they ask was about you. Like literally, even in every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was tiring y'know. They're really growing up fast."
"Awww" Taehyung couldn't contain himself to coo.
"Good thing we have this kind neighbor." Namjoon continues while eyes focused on the road, that made Taehyung stop and stare at him. "He looks like he's same age as you. He always spends time with the kids, and they would play everyday. The twins were preoccupied for awhile."
Taehyung looks a bit worried. "Hyung, I was just late for two weeks, why am I getting the feeling I'm being replaced?"
Namjoon breaks into a laugh. "Taehyung-ah, you're not being replaced. They just found a good friend in the neighborhood. Kookie is a good guy. Actually we trust him with the kids more than you."
Taehyung gasps in mock horror and clutches his heart. "That hurts mister."
Namjoon just laughs again and they continued to talk, passing by a quiet neighborhood until they reach their destination.
Taehyung takes in his hyungs' big residence as Namjoon parked the car into the garage. The younger quickly steps out of the car and fastwalks to the front door. In his hands are BT21 plushies, his gifts for the twins.
"I heard the car papa! I heard it!" A cute giggly girly voice can be heard inside, followed by small running sounds nearing the door. Taehyung smiles widely, preparing himself. "Uncle TaeTae is that- is that you?"
"Yoonji-ah, it's me baby girl." Taehyung replies through a closed door, then he hears a loud squeal coming through.
"Did you- did you bring me toys?", comes the muffled voice of the little girl behind the door.
Taehyung glances at the paper bag he's holding. "Yes, sunshine. I brought you shooky."
Another squeal. "Omygod. Omygod. Omygod!" followed by sounds of little feet jumping. "M'gonna tell papa!"
"Haha yes, Yoonji. But first, can you open the door for Uncle Taetae?"
The jumping sounds stop and Taehyung listens closely. He can hear the door knob rattling and after a few moments, the door opens and he's met by a squealing Yoonji in a jigglypuff onesie, running to him and hugging his legs.
Taehyung crouches down to the child's level and kisses her cheek and hugs her tight, his insides bursting into a puddle of rainbow goo. The girl returns the action quickly and smiles.
"Omygod I missed you Uncle TaeTae! Where have you been? Did you- did you know that Daddy bought us a dog? Its a cute puppy and his name's Holly and he- and he barks cutely, like- like this- arf arf! I want to cuddle him when I sleep but Papa doesn't want it. He'll scold us and he wants Holly to be alone and I don't want that. Holly will be sad–"
"Oh c'mon Yoonji, Uncle TaeTae is tired. Let him rest for awhile, okay?" Namjoon interrupts his daughter. Taehyung didn't even realize he's already at the door, carrying his suitcase.
The brunette looked like he wants to protest at Namjoon for making Yoonji shut up. He looks at the small girl, all pale skin and black short length hair with straight bangs. A small portion of hair at the top being tied to a ponytail while the rest are not. She squints at him cutely, then nods. Yoonji is a bit of a rambler sometimes, when she gets too excited. And Taehyung doesn't mind listening to her all day. He's whipped.
"Is that so?" Yoonji asks Taehyung and puts her pale little chubby hands on each of Taehyung's cheeks. "Are you really that tired, Uncle TaeTae?"
Taehyung smiles and carefully squishes her cheeks with his hands. "I'm not tired when it comes to you, baby."
"Really? Then I'll show you Holly! Uncle Kookie and I bathe him this morning. He's gonna be sooo fluffy!" Yoonji took Taehyung's hand in her small ones and started pulling him inside the house, the little girl oblivious of Taehyung's raised eyebrow and pouting lips. There is the name of Kookie again.
Namjoon senses Taehyung's distress and takes action. "Yoonji come here."
The little girl stops in her tracks and looks at her father. "Yes, daddy?"
"Come here." Namjoon repeats so that the kid would learn to obey. The little girl slowly walks to his dad, letting go of Taehyung's hand. "Your Uncle is tired and he needs to rest. You could show Holly later after dinner. Yoonji is a good girl so she would wait for Uncle TaeTae after dinner, right?"
The girl pouts immediately, furrowing her brows and thinking to persuade his dad, but then Taehyung shows her the shooky plushie.
"Hey, sunshine. I thought you want to see shooky here? I brought you one and Yoongi, too."
The girl's eyes widen and she runs immediately to the held out plushie, all thoughts of showing Holly disappeared. She grabs the toy in her hands and barely hugs it tight in her small body. "Omygod! Thank you Uncle TaeTae!"
Then the girl runs off into the hallway, stumbling a little and calling for his Papa and Yoongi. Probably to show off her new toy.
"Careful!" Taehyung shouts after the girl and he smiles.
"She's quite a handful sometimes. I don't even know where she learned saying 'ohmygod'." Namjoon says, adoration in his voice and shaking his head. "They're a handful sometimes. And you haven't seen Yoongi yet. Come on."
Both men went further into the house and spots the living room and kitchen empty. They can hear Yoonji talking loudly upstairs and Seokjin and Yoongi arguing.
Taehyung is no stranger to them even in their old home, and he literally lives with them every vacation. He has his own room in their old house, and probably in this one too.
Namjoon shows him his room upstairs, and Taehyung carries his suitcase walking there. "You okay now, bro? You can rest for awhile, or if you want to see the kids, their room is just at the corner. I'll just prepare drinks." Namjoon pats him on the shoulder and gestures for him to go.
He quickly leaves his suitcase inside and goes out again, thanking Namjoon and heading to the twins' room, the koya plushie in his hands.
As soon as he reaches the open door, he peeks inside and smiles at the scene. His Seokjin hyung is standing with his back facing the door, holding up a pikachu onesie. A 4 year old Yoongi standing on the bed in his koya briefs, looking pointedly at the poor onesie, with his hands crossed on his chest like a scolding adult. If looks could burn, the pikachu onesie is probably on fire right now. Yoonji on the other hand, just standing there, still clutching shooky and trying her best to get her Papa's attention.
"Yoongi, why on earth you don't want this? You like pikachu, right? Pikachu is cute. Come on, wear this now." Seokjin tries to persuade his stubborn son and swears Yoongi's favorite was Pikachu. Why the hell won't he wear this right now?
Yoongi furrowed his brows and continues to glare at the onesie. "I don't wanna!"
"Don't make me mad, Yoongi. You're getting cold. Your sister didn't complain about it, so you– yes, Yoonji that's great– should wear this too." Seokjin pries trying to pull Yoongi's leg inside the onesie, while giving attention to the small girl from time to time.
"I don't wanna!" Yoongi continues to protest. His black hair matted to his forehead, fresh from a bath. The child pulls a koya onesie from the bed and shoves it to his father.
Seokjin shakes his head, obviously frustrated. "No, your koya onesie is for tomorrow. Don't you like to be pokemon for today, baby?"
Taehyung can't resist to chuckle and says, "You still have that obsession of dressing them according to themes hyung?"
The three immediately turn their attention to him. He leaves the koya plushie outside of the room for a while and opens his arms for the little boy.
"Uncle!" Yoongi quickly scrambles himself off from the bed and runs to Taehyung, hugging his knees, just like what his sister did awhile ago. Taehyung crouches down, but this time, he hoists the small boy up and carries him in his arms. "Now what's the problem pumpkin?"
Yoongi's pale noodle arms wrap around Taehyung's neck. "I don't want Pikachu!" Yoongi complains to the older.
The brunette kisses Yoongi's cheek and turns to Seokjin. "Can I see the Pikachu one, hyung?"
Seokjin sighs, suddenly tired. He weakly holds up the piece of clothing and mouths the word 'please'.
Taehyung inspects the onesie and smiles. "You know, Pikachu is also one of my favorite characters. He is so cool. I bet Yoongi-bear will look good in this."
Yoongi frowns and glares at Taehyung this time, not convinced by his Uncle. Now these are moments when Taehyung can feel the hair on the back of his neck standing up. Yoongi is always the placid one compared to the booming personality of his sister and if his eyes could kill, trust me it can. You won't believe that a 4 year old can be this scary.
But Taehyung also knows he can charm the little guy and he sometimes had a way with kids. So having to see the poor little guy complain about the pikachu onesie makes Taehyung shake his head in disbelief, not showing that a grown man is scared with a little boy. He turns to face Seokjin to tell him to just go with what the kid wants, but then he was immediately met with pleading eyes of his brother.
Taehyung takes a deep breath and gulps, not letting himself be intimidated by his nephew who's still glaring at the two adults. He gets to grab at the poor piece of clothing from Seokjin, thinking of trying it on Yoongi.
"Don't you want to look cool, baby? Do you want to try it? Let's just try it first. If you don't look cool enough, we'll take it off, hmm?" Yoongi doesn't budge but Taehyung can feel his inner battle. "Didn't you tell me you want to be cool someday? That you want to be.. What's that word? Swag?"
The little boy in his arms perks up after hearing the word and hesitates for awhile. It took a long time for Taehyung to sweet talk him to just wear the garment. Not long after that, Yoongi is once again standing on his bed and this time, Taehyung buttoning the pikachu onesie in the boy's small body finally. Seokjin just watches in silence and amazement all this time.
"I have failed as a father." Says Seokjin, dramatically wiping his eyes with fake tears.
Taehyung laughs and continues to dress Yoongi, but the little boy looks at his father then shyly held his head down. "No Papa, i-im sorry."
The oldest smiled widely after hearing his son and walked to where the kid is standing. He gave Yoongi a bear hug and smooches his face. Yoonji also running towards them and yelling she wants to join too.
Taehyung's heart is filled with so much love and adoration as he watches the family. He smiles standing behind them and is contented just seeing his niblings happy.
Not long after, Yoongi pulls himself away from his Papa, probably too fed up of his kisses and turns to Taehyung. The little boy fidgets as he looks at himself. "Do I- do I look thwa-swag enough, Uncle TaeTae?" He asks struggling from his lisp.
Taehyung puts his fingers under his chin, looking like he's thinking deeply but deep inside he wants to melt into a puddle of rainbow goo. "Hmm."
Yoonji is jumping up and down, shouting, "He is sthwag! He is swag!", then Seokjin walks up to her and gathers her in his arms.
Taehyung breaks into a wide smile after 'thinking' and nods. "Of course, my Yoongi-bear looks swag and handsome enough."
Yoongi smiles widely. "So can I take this off now?"
"Oh no no. Not yet, Yoongi. You need to wear it for a while for you to be really cool." Taehyung quickly reasons out.
Yoongi furrows his brows and looks like he's in deep thinking, it slightly worries Taehyung. "I need to look thwag, right? I have this- this thing to make myself cooler." Yoongi quickly squirms himself off the bed again and runs to a closet full of toys. He searches for a while and Taehyung and Seokjin silently watch him in curiosity.
"Aha!" Yoongi pulls out a golden chain necklace and small sunglasses. "My thwee dolla chain!" Then the small boy puts the chain around his neck and sunglasses on. He runs to his Uncle and Papa, showing himself while grinning. The two adults stare at him dumbfounded while Yoonji plays with her onesie.
Seokjin is the first to recover from their speechless state. "Darling, where did you get that? And how did you learn about...that?"
Yoongi grins cheekily and proudly announces, "Uncle Kookie."
"Ah fuck this." Taehyung instantly groans. He's not getting jealous. Probably not.
A smack at the back of Taehyung's head had sent him slightly stumbling over. It was Seokjin.
"Yah. No cussing around children."
