This started on February 1st of 2016. A bet was started amongst us four. If one of us would still not attain a boyfriend by the end of valentines day, a consequence would be initiated by us. Precisely speaking, each one of us would have to give one dare to the loser. Never did we expect that our own childish actions would backfire.

MAE'S POV

The bell rang for the last period of the morning. I went out of the classroom and proceeded to the food court. A few of my batch mates were already eating their lunch. I walked to my own share of group of friends. There were four of us; Me, Lesay, Drea, and Gale. We have always been together since our childhood. Not most of us grew up together of course. Each one us grew closer as years passed. Drea and Lesfaye were the first to become friends, then in came Gale and me. We spent our grade school, junior highschool, senior highschool together. There were also times when we fought and didn't talk with each other for months. We managed to patch each other up and got back together in a jiffy.

As I was nearing them, a few guys were surrounding my friends. It wasn't much of a surprise really. We were the creme of the crop when it comes to beauty. Boys were always lining up just to have a bit of our time. It wasn't that bad, but we were always secretly wanting to be left alone. We already have enough company for ourselves.

I meekly seated to my usual spot, right next to Les and Gale, Drea on the other hand preferred to seat alone. And when I say alone, I meant that she seats on the other side of the table, alone.

I started to dig in the food that they bought for me. They don't usually buy me my snack but this time was an exception. I had texted them prior from now that I was gonna be late and that they'd have to buy food for me instead.

Once we finished with our snacks the four of us stayed for a bit to chat. Drea started to initiate the conversation. "So, what are going to do tonight? Any suggestions Les?" She said. Les took out her journal, it contains basically every single event and activities.
