"Luke! Sarah's at the door!" I heard my mother shout from downstairs.

I groaned and turned around in bed to get a hold of my phone that was lying on my messy bedside table. I pressed the home button to check the time and to see that it was 11:48 AM, way too early for a Wednesday on your summer break. I also saw that I had 3 missed calls from Sarah and she had also sent me one long text saying she would be on her way to my house soon and that she hoped I was ready. Ready for what?

I had also multiply messengers from my friends in our group chat that I had totally ignored when I went to sleep early in the morning because when you have no school, you change the hours on the clock. Nighttime is way more fun to be up than daytime.

When I was reading through what Calum and Michael was arguing about in the group chat, my bedroom door opened and in came my girlfriend.

"Luke, are you serious right now? Why are you still in bed? Why aren't you dressed? We are leaving in like 20 minutes you know" she said and folded her arms while looking at me.

I lay still in bed looking at her like my whole face was a big question mark. I took a quick look at her up and down noticing she had a loose shirt on and ripped jeans shorts. She had a pair of low white converse and her hair was curled and her makeup was done to perfection, which made me wonder why she was so dressed up and.... 'makedup'.

"Luke? Hello?" she said and waved a hand in front of my face which made me look her in the eyes, still looking like a question mark though.

"What?" I said. My voice low and dry, showing her I had just woken up.

"You forgot what we were going to do today, am I right?" she sighed and looked at me. She didn't look mad though, she could never get mad at me.

I thought back to previous conversations with Sarah to quickly remember what the hell she was talking about but I had no idea. I sat up in bed and looked at her again.

"Yeah" I said and smiled innocently. She looked me in my eyes for a few seconds before cracking a smile and shook her head. She made her way over to me and sat down in my lap. I gladly let her.

"You're hopeless" she chuckled and caressed my cheek with one of her hands. She leaned in and placed her pretty pink lips on mine. The kiss lasted for a moment before she pulled away as we smiled to each other.

"If that's what I'm gonna get every time I'm hopeless I'll gladly take it" I said and leaned in again. She pushed me away and got out of my lap, laughing.

"No, you have morning breath Luke. And you have to get ready" she said smiling sweetly as she sat down on my desk chair.

"Pff, I'm always minty" I said as I stood up from my bed. "So, get ready for what exactly?" I walked over to my closet and opened it waiting for her response.

She sighed and chuckled again before answering. "Don't you remember when I asked you about two days ago if you were on for a double date with my best friend Kelly and her boyfriend?" I just shrugged as to answer her question.

"Oh well, you said yes and today is the day!" she said. Oh yeah, now I remember. She asked me that over the phone in the middle of an intense play station battle between me and Michael. The only thing I could do was to answer her fast so Michael wouldn't beat me. I guess I answered yes then.

"Oh yeah, right" I said, trying my best to sound enthusiastic. "Kelly's cool, who's her boyfriend?"

I started looking through my wardrobe for something casual because, damn, this wasn't something major to get ready for.

"Yeah, it's nice that you two like each other. And she and her boyfriend have been together for years. He's two years older than us"

I nodded while pulling on a pair of black skinny jeans; it's quite the struggle to be honest. "What's he like?" I asked trying to get some perspective out of this guy, because I am now forced to hang out with my girlfriend, her best friend and him this whole day and I need to know who I have to deal with. If it seems like he sucks, I can have Michael or Calum fake an emergency so I can get out of this early.

"He's 20 but doesn't act like it, he's really sweet and quite hot if I'm speaking through my honest mind" she said and I gave her a glare which she responded with a laugh. "Yeah like I said, they've been together for like two or three years now and he's really cool. You and him are quite similar actually when I think about it" she said and looked up at me while I was pulling on a white t-shirt with black sleeves.

"How so?" I said and went on to pull on a pair of socks.

"You basically like the exact same music," she pointed around my room filled with posters, CDs and guitars "and you have the same humor so it won't be boring today I promise" she said and smiled.

I scoffed quietly so she couldn't hear. Oh well, I guess I have no other choice than to go to this thing. I didn't get much info about him but he sounds chill and something that I can deal with. I turned around so I could walk into the bathroom to do my business and then fix my hair so it was standing in its usual blonde quiff. I then brushed my teeth knowing that it wasn't any idea for me to eat breakfast now when we are off to the diner right when I'm done getting ready. I walked out with a satisfied smile on my face, biting down on my lip ring. A habit of mine.

"Got ready in-" I cut myself off as I took up my phone from my bed and checked the time, "7 minutes. We have a whole 13 minutes to do a whole lot other before we get out of here. I don't have morning breath anymore" I say and looked at her while wiggling my eyebrows. A childish act that I can't let go off.

She laughed and shook her head but stood up from the stool and made her way over to me. She placed her arms around my neck and I placed mine on the low of her back while I let out a satisfied sigh. I leaned in and placed my lips or hers again. Before the kiss got too heated she pulled away, making me let out a sad noise by the loss of contact.

"Sorry, but if we keep on going, my hair and makeup will be a mess and then we'll never get there in time" she laughed.

"Well, that sound like a plan to me" I said and tried to kiss her again but she sneaked away and laughed again.

"No come on let's get going" she said but before she started walking she looked me up and down.

"Is something wrong with my clothes?" I asked her and looked down on my outfit.

"No it's just, it's the end of November, like the middle of summer and you're wearing black skinny jeans. You are going to die of heat"

I laughed at her before I took her hand and dragged her out of my room. "Heat is nothing I can't handle. Plus, a lot of people walk around with black jeans in the middle of summer"

"Name on person that does that" she said chuckling while we walked down the stairs into the hallway of my house.

"If you must ask-"

"Not counting you and your friends" she said cutting me off and I scoffed at her while pulling on my all black worn out converse. I tried thinking of someone other with black jeans in the summer but I couldn't really come up with anyone.

"See you can't come up with anyone" she said and smiled while patting me on my cheek. I rolled my eyes in annoyance but chuckled lightly at her childish behavior. I grabbed my wallet and car keys before loudly saying bye to my mother that was somewhere in the house before walking out of the house hand in hand with my girlfriend.

The drive to the diner took a good fifteen minutes because I live out in nowhere and the usual road to the diner is closed for construction so I had to drive another way. It didn't bother me though, I loved driving and to listen to music. Sarah didn't say much during the drive, she just sat in the passenger seat bobbing her head to the music and singing along occasionally. When I saw the front of the diner I sighed and parked the car.

"Come on grumpy, it will be fun" Sarah said and smiled before giving me a quick peck on my lips. She got out and I sighed again before I opened my door and got out myself. Sarah grabbed a hold of my hand and led me to the entrance of the diner/restaurant. Here goes nothing.

She stopped us right when we got in and looked around a bit before her face lit up. I looked towards the way she was smiling and was greeted by happy waving Kelly. I could see someone sitting beside her but a plant in a table in front of us covered mostly of Kelly's boyfriend. Sarah started walking and dragged me with her to the table where Kelly and her boyfriend were sitting. Sarah let go of my hand when we reached the table and Kelly got up so they could hug each other. Kelly was then off to greet me with a hug which I gladly accepted. I liked Kelly, she was really cool.

"Hi Luke!" she said happily

"Hi Kelly" I said and smiled, not as enthusiastic as her though. I looked away from her to see Sarah pull away from a hug with Kelly's boyfriend. He slowly turned around and faced me.

"Oh, Luke! This is Ashton, my lovely boyfriend" she said and smiled up at her boyfriend I now had get to known as Ashton. He smiled back at her but I swear I could see a flash of annoyance in his eyes. I guess I'm not the only one thinking this wasn't the most exciting thing ever.

Ashton looked over at me and I studied the boy in front of me. He had dirty blonde, messy, soft, curly hair that he hid away from his eyes by wearing a bandana around his head. He had big brown eyes that in some light flashed some green in them. He had a grey t-shirt with a print of a 'My Little Pony' with the text 'Ponies Forever' that he had rolled up the sleeves on. He had black skinny jeans on which made me note that I wasn't the only one wearing it. I looked up to his face again and he smiled big, making dimples show. I couldn't do other than smile back, it was very contagious.

"Hi, I'm Ashton" he said and put out his hand for me to shake. I took his hand as I answered back.

"I'm Luke" I said still smiling at him.

"See Kelly, I told you I'm not the only one in Sydney that wears black jeans in the summer" Ashton said as he let go of my hand, looking at me and his girlfriend.

"Oh you had that talk too?" I said and chuckled while raising my eyebrows. Ashton looked at me again and let out a chuckle.

"Yeah, like it's too hot for black jeans" he said and rolled his eyes for the girls to see. I laughed. I already like this dude.

"Yeah yeah, save the sarcasm and attitude against us girls for the rest of the day okay?" Kelly said and sat down while Sarah did the same.

"As you wish" Ashton and I said at the same time. We looked at each other in the eyes before taking a seat with the girls.

"Jinx, you owe me a soda" both said again laughing but looked up at each other with serious expressions on our faces when we realized what was just happening.

"Jinx, you owe me this dinner" we said at the same time again and I could see the humor he had in his intense glare locked with mine.

"Jinx, you owe me your shirt! -car!" we both said again, but this time not the same. The girls beside us looked at us weirdly.

"Dude I'm not giving you my car" I said chuckling.

"You like my shirt?" Ashton said back, smiling.

"Yeah, you owe me it" I said and gave him a wide smile.

He chuckled while shaking his head slightly "Yeah, okay then Luke, but if I don't get your car I want something in return" he said winking.

"Whatever you like dude. But not in the prize range of a car" I laughed while looking down on the menu that was lying in front of us all.

"I thought you'd get along but I never thought it would be this easy" Kelly said and laughed making both me and Ashton look at her.

"Yeah," Sarah joined, "are you sure you guys haven't like known each other for years?"

I looked at my girlfriend sitting beside me and then over to Ashton that was sitting in front of me. He shrugged and smiled while reaching over and patted my shoulder.

"If I had met you years ago, I'm sure it would be just as easy as now" he said and removed his hand from me. I smiled, he was a cool dude.

"Yeah same here" I nodded, chuckling a little.

"Well, it's a huge relief you two get along" Sarah said and smiled, putting a hand on my thigh as she went back to reading her menu. Kelly nodded in agreement and smiled at Ashton, quickly leaning up to peck his cheek. He smiled a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes and then looked over to me. He looked at me for a little while before flashing me a dimple filled smile and then looked down to read his menu.

I looked down at my menu again and I could feel myself smile. Damn, this boy's smile was contagious.

I liked it.

If you are reading this that means you have read chapter one of Boy Meets Boy, which i am soooo grateful for. i know this kind of sucks because it's kind of a pilot or prologue so you can get the hind of who is here and how the story is gonna look in some ways. oh and there's boyxgirl now but trust me there will be a none other than boyxboy in the future lol hint hint ((THE CHAPTERS WILL BE MUCH LONGER THAN THIS, THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING))

i haven't been writing on wattpad for a year, which is the exact time i did last time but then i deleted my acc. now i have just been reading all kinds of books here and while i was reading all kinds of fanfics and regular books i started to get excited to write again + i have chosen writing as new subject after the summer so i need something to prepare me.

i've lost all my followers but i don't mind at all i'm here for a new start! i'm super excited for thos book and this idea! i've had this idea for so long but i wasn't sure if i wanted to do it with lashton but here we go!
