Cad Bane sat in the driver seat with autopilot on. He wasn't in light speed he decided since the mission went quicker then he expected he thought Dooku could wait. Besides why waste time looking at a good body. Never hurts to just look.
Bane looked back at his bounty. "I wonder if she taught herself all of those moves and how to analyze a situation like that." He said to himself "It would be a change of pace to talk to someone who actually understands things like me."
"You can stop talking to yourself, not that it's annoying or anything. You could of just woke me." Vexem said opening her yellow and red eyes.
"Well you're awake now aren't you?" Bane asked in a slightly irritated
"Yes and can you take these handcuffs off?"
"If I take them off how do I know that you're not going to attack me and dump me off on some planet?"
"You don't." She stood up and walked to him. She laughed noticing that they weren't in light speed. "You expected this conversation would happen."
"Well any conversation at this point and I can tell you use your body figure to get the way you want. Something Ventress was never able to do. Although you do have hers and Maul skill."
"Well geez that's kind of a disappointment." She sat in the seat next to his. "You basically know every move I was going to make."
"Stand up and turn around girl." Vexem glared at him and studied him. She signed and stood up. "Don't you dare try anything or my lightsabers with go somewhere the sun doesn't shine."
Bane chuckled and unlocked the cuffs "I'm not that kind of person."
She looked at him "I do have a name. It's Vexem."
"What are you going to do vex me?" Bane asked sitting back down
"With that attitude maybe. So what's your name Bounty hunter?" She also sat back down looking at him
"It's Bane. Cad Bane pretty girl."
"Well Bane how about we start using our names?"
"I like pretty girl better." Bane fixed his hat "but if you insist, Vexem it is then."
"Well you're very much a gentleman." Vexem chuckles
"There's no reason to be rude in front of a lady." Bane said and his transmitter beeps "That's probably Dooku. Stay quiet." Bane turned on his comm and Dooku appeared
"Bane, I hope everything is going well?" Dooku asked
"Everything is fine with the exception that the Jedi are also after your lightsaber wielding assassin." Bane hissed
"The Jedi? Looks like the plans have changed." Dooku announced
"Changed? What do you mean?" Bane scowled at Dooku
"I want you to make sure there will be no more Jedi coming to Elom and I want you to bring me my assassin." Dooku explained
"Well that's already put into action." Bane relaxed
"Good! I like the way you think ahead Bane. Because of this little mishap I'll throw in more money." Dooku promised
"Good. I was hoping you didn't lose your mind in telling me to do more work for the same amount of money." Bane smirked and the comm was finished.
"You're still in it for money." Vexem scoffed leaning back in the seat.
"What else would I do for money? Steal?" Bane asked
"That's one way." Vexem shrugged looking outside
"Tell me girl, do you really want to go back there? To Dooku." Bane asked
"If my ears don't deceive me, you're asking me if I want to join you." Vexem looked at him.
"I know Dooku. He isn't a nice guy. The last Zabrak he got his hands on tried to kill him same with his last assassin." Bane explained "Whoever trained Maul obviously got on his wrong side and they all ended up the same way. Dead. A pretty girl like you shouldn't need to go through that."
"And you're saying bounty hunting isn't as dangerous?" Vexem asked in disbelief looking at him with an eyebrow raised
"All I'm saying is that if you want revenge like those others did, being an assassin or apprentice won't give you a successful taste of it. If you plan on joining the Jedi, you'll be even more unsuccessful because Jedi don't kill."
"And how exactly do you plan to take me away? Sweep me off my feet right now and go to some distant planet and bounty hunt?" Vexem questioned further
"No this job has too much money for me to just leave it alone now. Anyways, Dooku probably already sent out extra bounty hunters after you. If we're lucky, Skywalker and Kenobi will encounter them after that there it depends all on skill on who lives or not."
"You know those Jedi? How are we going to do this then?" She went on
"Those Jedi basically are nearly everywhere I am. I'm returning you."
"Returning me?!"
"Yes. Then the Jedi will ask me for help and I'll get you for them and we'll be free anything between will just be business and time and patience will be needed. Something you'll have to practice." Bane glared at her
She sat back against her seat with her arms crossed. "Well your my knife, blunt."
"Best to be at these times. Especially during wars like these." Bane continued "So are you in for getting out?"
"Do I have to pay you?" Vexem asked with a smirk
"Don't make me say yes." Bane looked at her under his hat also with a smile.
