Bounty
"It's time to wake up, Prince Charming," a deep voice said as I felt a few rough pats on my back.
I rolled over onto my back, but I kept my eyes closed. I really didn't want to get up.
I heard the man growl before he grabbed my wrist, pulling me up into a sitting position.
"Uh, is he even awake?" A higher pitched voice asked from beside me.
"It's hard to tell," The deep voice said to him. "Hey, Noct! You awake or not?"
"Being awake means I'm not asleep," I said finally opening my eyes and looking at the two guys in front of me.
The big guy, Gladiolus Amicitia, was the sworn shield of the king of Lucis. He would do anything if it meant my safety. He was 23 and had long, brown hair with two brown eyes to match and a goetee. He also had a scar running down the left side of his face, overlapping with his left eye. He worn his Crownsguard uniform which was a short sleeve jacket that exposed his chest and arms and a pair of leather pants.
The other guy was a lot smaller than Gladio. At age 20, same as me, Prompto Argentum was a slender, childish figure with golden blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and freckles that dotted his cheeks and nose. We had met each other in elementary school, but we had only been friends since high school. He also worn a Crownsguard uniform, a vest over a black shirt with white zig-zags shapes and a pair of printed pants.
Gladio huffed, "Smartass." He turned and opened the flap of the tent. "Better get up, Ignis just finished breakfast." With that he was out of the tent.
I held up my hand to block the bright beams of sunlight from my still sleepy eyes.
"Come on, Buddy! Let's go eat!" Prompto said before following Gladio out of the tent.
I sighed as I was left alone. "I really don't want to get up," I yawned as I get up and open the tent. I climbed out and stretched my arms. I looked around the haven at the others.
"Good morning, Highness," a british voice said from behind me.
I turned around to see a guy with dirty blonde hair that stood up in the front and sides. He had green eyes that rested behind a pair of spectacles. Like the others, he was dressed in Crownsguard uniform, he worn a dark purple printed button up with a black leather jacket and some black dress pants. Ignis Scientia, the royal advisor of the king or in my case, prince, at 22.
"Morning, Specs," I replied sleeply as I watched him take a sip from his coffee mug.
"Did you sleep well?" Ignis asked before taking a plate of his Golden Egg Galette and offering it to me.
Before I could reply, Gladio jumped in. "Yeah, wouldn't want his Royal Highness to skip out on his beauty rest."
"Indeed, we wouldn't want that," Ignis said as I take the plate from him.
"Yeah, so maybe you should have let me sleep a little longer," I said in a sassy tone.
"Could have but you know, early bird gets the worm," Prompto said before he snapped a photo of Gladio, Ignis, and me.
"Yeah, that's why you were awake so early," Gladio said sarcastically crossing his arms.
"Whatever, let's eat and be on our way," I said before digging into my breakfast.

"So, where is it we're going?" Prompto questioned as we climbed into the Regalia.
"We took on a hunt from the tipster at the Verinas Mart in Ravatogh, remember?" I said leaning forward in the backseat.
Prompto looked back at me with confusion. "Did we?"
"Well, we did. You were busy taking pictures of the geysers" Gladio said not looking up from his book.
"Before setting up camp last night, we took on a bounty called "Pointiest Pins in the Volcano." We're heading to Ravatogh Trail to extinguish the pests," Ignis explained as he kept his eyes on the road.
"Oh, well, what was the reward for this?" Prompto asked turning around in the front seat and standing on his knees.
"If I can recall correctly; a mega phoenix and 12,090 Gil," Gladio said closing his book and looking at the blonde.
"Wow, that's enough Gil to maybe get us a hotel tonight," Prompto said as Ignis pulled the Regalia into a parking spot.
"We were actually going to buy some ingredients so Ignis can cook other things at camp," I said getting out of the car.
"Ugh, but we always camp!" Prompto whined.
"Stop whining," Gladio said looking around us. "So, where are we going from here?"
"We have to do some climbing, but up those rocks for a few miles," Ignis replied as I jumped over a rail.
"Well, let's get going," I said starting up the rocks.
We continued our walking until we saw our target. Three Reaperkings. They were black hard shelled creatures with four small legs, two large pinches, and a large stinger.
"Seems we've found what we were looking for," Ignis said calmly as they began to approach us.
I summoned my sword and threw it into a rock behind them, I then warp to the location of my sword.
The Reaperkings started to attack. Ignis adjusted his glasses seeming to analyze the enemy before summoning his daggers and slashing at them.
Prompto dodged one of the attacking creatures and summoned a weapon of his own. A revolver that he used to shoot the charging Reaperking.
Gladio summoned his greatsword and slammed it down on one of the others.
Quickly, I threw my sword at the one Prompto was fighting knocking it vulnerable.
"Hey, blondie!" I yelled getting Prompto's attention.
"Er, that's me, I guess?" Prompto replied, knowing what I was wanting him to do.
He summoned another gun and began to shot the Reaperking with multiple shots within a matter of seconds. Finally, I land a final blow, killing it.
I looked around at Ignis and Gladio. They seemed to be fine holding their own, but wanted to hurry up and get these fights over with.
"Hey, Ignis, instructions!" I yelled as Ignis dodged an attack.
"On your mark, Noct!" He said throwing three daggers at the Reaperking creating targets. I began to attack each of the targets until the Reaperking was killed.
That's two done, one to go.
I looked over at Gladio. The Reaperking seemed pretty weak from fighting, so it was about time to put it out of its misery.
"Hey, Big Guy!" I said ready to charge.
Gladio smiled. He summoned a shield and slammed it down on the Reaperking. He resummoned his sword and held it out in front of him.
"Over here," he said beckoning for me to come.
I warped to his sword and grabbed hold of it. I began spinning around it before I pulled it out of the ground and killed the last enemy. I threw Gladio his sword back.
"That took everything I had," Prompto panted as we began walking down the rocks.
"You should be proud you gave it your all," Gladio stated promptly.
"I've got nothing left," I said as we make it back to the Regalia.
