When Nash reads the note he's shocked by what it says, he never meant to upset or hurt Dumon like this.

"What have I done...?" He whisper quietly to himself and readers the note over again.

"Nash, is everything okay?" Durbe asks as he comes into Nash's office feeling like something is wrong.

Nash's voice is stuck in his throat, he doesn't know what to say. Guilt can't even begin to describe how he feels, the only thing he can do is give the note to Durbe to read.

Durbe reads the note over but doesn't understand at first why Nash is so upset. "Nash I don't understand why you're so upset." He says in a soft tone not wanting Nash to blow up at him.

"I... I hurt Dumon by accusing him of something he didn't do. And now he's disappeared, no one can reach him and no one knows where he is." Nash replies back, his voice shaking like he's going to cry.

In the Underworld Dumon refuses to do anything even eat, Embers tries to coxes him into at least eating but nothing he does seems to help. So Embers is forced to possess him to make sure he takes care of himself, Dumon doesn't even put up a fight and let's Embers do as he pleases.

Embers blames Nash for everything and doesn't want Dumon anywhere near him for fear that he'll only get hurt again. Nash tells Don and the other emperors about his fight with Dumon but he tells them that he never meant to hurt Dumon in anyway. They're unsure if they should even let Nash be with Dumon if they're able to get him back, but they'll worry about that later. Don and Nash try to get Dumon to come back through demon summoning rituals but Dumon nor Embers ever come. Embers on purposely ignores them especially when he feels Nash calling.

"Embers what did I do wrong? Why does Nash not love me anymore? Am I not good enough for him? Why do I keep hurting the people I love?" Dumon asks Embers in a broken and horse voice.

"Dumon look at me, you did nothing wrong. This is all Nash's fault, you don't need him to be happy. And you didn't hurt anyone." Embers says as he looks into Dumon's lifeless broken eyes.

Eventually Dumon regains some sense of himself and is able to find a job hiding as Embers. He works for a lord who loves violence and bloodshed, he's known for it too which is why everyone calls him the Lord Blood. Dumon is put in charge of "caring" for the prisoners for the demon lord's blood spots in the calcium.

"Embers, promise me that you'll keep these safe if anything were to happen to me." Dumon says handing him two long black velvet boxes that hold his engagement bracelets.

Embers takes them, hiding them away in his body. "I promise to keep them safe for you no matter what happens."

With his bracelets safe from harm Dumon goes to work for the blood lord.

*Embers's POV*

Well I guess things could be worse but seeing my human half so broken and half mindless worries me. I can't tell if he's moved on from Nash or is just bottling up his emotions. Whatever the reason I don't interfere less he be discovered as a moral and tortured to death, Dumon does seem to be taking a bit a pleasure out of watching other people suffer which is a bit odd for him.

*3rd POV*

Months go by, Dumon has witnessed several blood sports in the colosseum but seems unphased by the gruesome torture. Nash and Don are using a screen to talk with one another, trying to find where Dumon has run off to but they can't find him anywhere.

"I'm a afraid to say it but he's most likely in the Underworld. A place that no mortal, not even I will dare to go." Don says with dread.

"I don't care how dangerous it is, I'm going if it means I can bring him back." Nash says without fear or hesitation.
