Hi! Welcome to my newest story, 'Boundaries'. 

Boundaries is a werewolf story, and if this is your first werewolf story, I thought I'd include some essential jargon that will be critical to this story.

'Alpha'- The leader of a werewolf pack and the highest ranking member of the group.

'Beta'- The Alpha's second in command.

'Mate'- Shortening of Soulmate. Each wolf is blessed with a soulmate in their lifetime, whom they are destined to love, though not every wolf meets their 'Mate'. Soulmates are identified through touch, scent and sight. 

'Pack'- A group of wolves, often comprising of several families, that live and work together, occupying a space of land which is their territory.

In this story, LGBT pairings are not unusual and the Alpha title is inherited by the first child of the previous Alpha. In the case that this cannot occur, a new Alpha is decided upon and sworn into the role. Characters are able to shift into wolves, but do not have a 'wolf' personality living within them. 

This is, if you hadn't realised, an LGBTQ+ story, so if this makes you uncomfortable, please refrain from reading further. All hate comments will be deleted and will not be tolerated. Take your old fashioned views elsewhere. 

This is my first attempt at writing in the 3rd person and this story does contain some dark themes that some might find triggering. I will try and provide warnings prior, so please read at your discretion and take care of yourselves.

And, lastly, I appreciate every read, like and comment, but please remember to be kind. Writers put everything they have into their art, for words are our artform, so please be considerate about the words you choose to use.
