Jimin was staring blankly at his suitcases, filled with brand new clothes Yoongi had bought him to prepare him for the real world. The real world. Jimin shuddered at the thought.

As much as it pained Yoongi to be away from Jimim in their last few days together, Yoongi wanted anything that would soften the blow. He couldn't be around the younger without his eyes tearing up. Why did this have to be happening to him? The only time he found true happiness in his life and it was being snatched away from him so cruelly.

But the day was here. The day that Jimin was scheduled to leave. It made Yoongi think of the day he had left Hoseok, the amount of adrenaline he felt inside him as he walked away from that dark part of his life and into this new life. Did Jimin feel the same?

Jimin certainly didn't. He felt so empty inside he was concerned that maybe someone had scooped out his insides. The idea of living without Yoongi was one that he couldn't fathom; the mansion had become his whole life and the idea of leaving terrified him. The idea of never seeing Mark again, never sleeping in his room, never listening to Jin and Namjoon flirt.

Never seeing Yoongi again.

Never getting to see his gummy smile, never getting to see the way he hair got all messed up in the morning, never getting to hear his low voice first thing in the morning. Jimin felt his whole body fill with cold fear, his heart dropping to his stomach. Is this what losing a loved one feels like? Jimin thought to himself as Mark helped him wheel his belongings down to the bottom of the stairs.

"I'm gonna miss you ChimChim," Mark said before embracing the smaller boy in his arms, "I've never seen someone bring so much light into Yoongi's eyes."

Jimin sniffled, trying to hold back his tears, "You really think so?"

"Jimin, I've known Yoongi since he left Hoseok. We were roommates in the tiniest apartment you could think of. I worked in a diner as Yoongi planed his big scheme to get rich. When he did, he took me in as his secretary. But even when he made his first million, I didn't see him as happy as when he's with you," Mark's voice became choked with emotion as he spoke, knowing that Yoongi would never be the same when Jimin left.

Jimin was destined to be picked up by state officials in twenty minutes, and Yoongi had still not appeared. With every passing minute, Jimin lost faith that Yoongi would ever come to say goodbye to him. He had barely seen Yoongi, and while he knew it was because he was hurting, he felt a slight annoyance at the disregard from Yoongi that maybe Jimin was hurting as well.

Finally, Yoongi plodded down the stairs, red rings circling his eyes and his hair sticking up in different directions. Jimin, for the first time in his life, felt like his heart was going to explode into fireworks. Seeing Yoongi standing there, it set something off inside him.

And so Jimin did the only thing his brain could think of. He ran up to the man and kissed him.

Wrapping his legs around Yoongi's waist, he kissed Yoongi with such ferocity he lost sense of them being two separate people. They were just one kiss, two lips pressed against each other.

"Please come and find me when I'm gone," Jimin whispered, his voice broken up by sobs as he pulled away from the kiss, "Don't disappear."

Yoongi nodded, knowing fully well that this wasn't possible.

The government had released a new law - only people of the same class were allowed to meet each other. Allowed to date each other. Allowed to marry each other. While Yoongi was part of the elite, Jimin would be nothing more than a commoner. But he still nodded, not wanting to ruin the last moments the pair had together - forever.

"You have made me feel as though I was never truly living before I met you," Yoongi whispered, living a soft kiss on the younger's forehead, "And I know that I will never feel that way again."

"Yoongi don't speak like this... Like we're never going to see each other again," Jimin cried out, and as if on cue their was a loud knock at the door.

Yoongi went towards the door despite Jimin's cries not to open it. The suited men came inside the house with sunglasses on, gesturing for Jimin to come with them. One of the men held Yoongi back so the pair couldn't kiss each other goodbye. They couldn't even hug.

"Yoongi!" Jimin yelled as he was taken out the door, "I... I... I love you."

The door was slammed shut before Yoongi could process what Jimin had just said.

The house felt so quiet without Jimin in it, and Yoongi knelt down and placed his heavy head in his hands.

What was he supposed to do now?
