Footsteps echoing make you look up, and all of a sudden you feel the walls closing in and the heat of the air rise to unliveable conditions. You lock eyes with that stranger, a gravitational pull moving you both together. And you realise - this is your soul mate. The heart you have been bound to since the day you were born. The only person you can ever love. There was only one love to exist in this world, and it was one that would strike at the most unexpected times.

This is what Yoongi had been told his whole life. Destiny already planned out for him, Yoongi was waiting patiently for the day that this spark would ignite inside him when he looked at another human being. Building his own business empire, living the life of luxury, was nothing without the one he was bound to.

Jimin was born into a different world. He was a ferreus - destined to be a slave his whole life due to his low birth. Subservient to the whims of the person who would bid the highest on him. He was bound by chains, cable ties, and ropes but never love. A ferreus did not have the capacity to love.
