Chapter XIII
So, I got asked a lot to put up a pic of Lana, and this is the closest one I could find to how I imagine her in my head.. I'll definitely be putting up more in the future. I thought that I should leave you guys create your own image of her, and I'm sure you already have, but since I got a lot of requests, here it is :)
Also, credit for the pic goes to @morphy_me (IG). It's really creative and I'm glad I found the page cause morphed pics seem to match some characters better.
Enjoy!
Not edited btw.

Christian's POV
That night.. That night I saw a different side of Lana. A daring side of desire in both of us.. There were no words to describe what I felt for her that night. Intense, passionate and breathtaking. She drove me mad and lost at the same time. With her eyes closed, her lips parted.. It was a picture I never wanted to forget. When her eyes looked at me, they were flickering with that fire and feist of spirit. It caused that power of addiction in my chest, and I didn't want to let go.
Her voice in my ears, her whispers and desires drove me wilder than ever. Her body was carved in the most perfect way, with soft lines, curves on the side of her hips, dips at her waist and silky skin that made me want to worship every inch of her. It was mind-blowing seeing her so vulnerable and pure, with nothing but raw passion and lust.. She had me on the edge the whole night, and the sound of her rapid heartbeat in my ears, the symphony of her moans, panting, whispers, it drove me insane.
Now, I watched her sit there on the bed, basically on her knees, as she partially swung her legs on the side.. I got used to her voice, to her fast talking, spitfire and attitude.. But now she just sat there, wearing one of my shirts, way to big for her by the way, and playing with the edge of the sheet as she kept talking, laughing, smiling, frowning.. It was interesting to watch her, and I spent the whole night doing exactly that.
I thought she would be exhausted, she would want to sleep, but perhaps the place didn't hold her. I couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm and the way she told her story.. How something sparked in her eyes when she laughed about her family, then got all quiet when the subject came around her father. Then she would say my name, questionably until I answered with a 'Yes?', and ask me questions that I gladly answered..
She was a Morpher, I knew that, but dear God, the sound of her voice intoxicated me, and whenever I got close to her, her smell completely flooded my senses. Unbelievable how the fire in her eyes, the life in her filled a part of me I never knew I would feel again.. I could get used to it. I've had partnerships with many werewolves, and she was quite the interesting one to pick. The thing was, after the sex we had, I don't think it would be easy to forget it quite like that.
She stood up, my shirt barely covering her ass, but she was the kind that didn't care, the kind that would make you take your clothes off too if she felt like it, and give herself completely if she felt like it.. Now, the view of her walking towards the table to get two glasses made me go silent, and the things she unconsciously did muted every sound around me. She made me want to cherish her, have her, fuck her, protect her, all at the same time. A dare devil, and she wasn't even aware of it.
Her hair was loose and almost reaching her spine.. She would simply flip it from side to side, letting a few stands fall over her face, then put it behind her ears to look at me better. It swung as she walked towards the little counter to get the drinks, and while leaning towards the bottle, the shirt lifted just enough to uncover her perfect round ass lined with that little pair of black panties.. I'm surprised I didn't rip them before. I just fucking hoped she would sit down soon enough, cause if she didn't, we would spent the whole day in my room.
When she turned around with the drinks, she made a small hop as she got on the bed, and her laugh made me snap out of whatever was going through my head.. I didn't hear what she said, but it made me smile as I took the drink she handed me. I agreed on the fact that that night was nothing but a moment of weakness, and I knew that I would come to the point where I would crave that again, when I would want to just repeat that night, but I didn't need a distraction like Lana in my life. She was there to help me get the necklace, while I help her continue her runaway..
"I got too comfortable in your room," She let out another dry laugh, before she took a sip from her drink.
With her messy hair, my shirt that covered very little of her body, and nothing but her panties underneath it, I couldn't mind having her. "I don't mind." I leaned back on the bed, noticing how her eyes searched my face for a second, and the smile on her lips just stretched wider.
She simply shrug her shoulder slightly. "Good," She mumbled, leaning towards her phone on the nightstand. "Crap."
"What?"
I heard her sigh. "It's my brother.. He called me like a million times. I forgot I asked him to get me some information on that contract I found in my father's desk." She almost got interrupted by the door bell, and slightly jumped looking back at me. I don't understand why we both got so surprised.. We were so lost in time that we weren't even aware that the morning already came. An hour ago.
I glanced at the clock on the wall, then back at her. "I'm gonna need my shirt." The shirt she was wearing.. However, she faked me a quick smile, making me just plainly laugh when she leaned down from the bed, and took the shirt she practically ripped off of me before. She threw it at me, and I was quick to put it on as I went for the door, hearing her footsteps behind me. Yep, Lana. Curious as always.
When I got down the stairs and towards the door, I realized she had stopped midway, just a few stairs down, and I don't know what she was thinking, but when I went to open the door and looked back at her, her eyes went wide in realization with probably the fact that she was practically almost naked, and simply ran back up.
I almost smiled at whoever was at the door, but once I opened it, I came face to face with Calliope. Fuck, I forgot.. It was as if after the whole night, that second was when all the thoughts went rushing back to my brain.. I called her. To come. Last night.. Before Lana came to my room, I called Calliope to come and try that locate spell. It was our last chance to find the necklace, and she didn't even know how to perform it. I was the one that convinced her try out our last shot.
She eyed me for a few seconds, frowned slightly, and it just reminded me that I was still in my boxers and the shirt Lana just threw at me. "Good Morning." I told her, making space for her to walk in.
"Good Morning," Her lips formed into a thin line of a quick smile as she walked inside and turned back towards me, watching me close the door. "Too early?"
I was awake, and usually ready to go at 7 am, and I understood why that had her confused. "No, actually, perfect timing." I took a few steps with her towards the living room, but she was the only one that walked in.
"Where's the wolf girl?" She slowly turned around, and I was about to glance up the stairs to check if she was still there, but Lana obviously already sprinted back to the bedroom.
"Lana," I seemed to correct her while trying to continue this as casually as I started it. "She's probably still asleep.. I'll go get her." I heard a quick 'OK' while walking towards the stairs, and yes, I was right. Lana did sprint back the second she realize that she was only wearing my shirt.
I walked in my room, just to find her tying her hair up in the messiest bun, that barely held her hair as it slipped from the sides.. Turning around, her eyes were wide when she realized I walked in. "Who is that?" And there it was. That curiosity in those large greens, and the same one heard in her slightly raspy voice.
"Calliope." I started off, watching her play with her fingers while listening to me carefully. "An old friend.. A witch actually, she's helping me with the whole necklace hunt." She nodded her head, and looked down at her fingers. "Why did you ran off like that? You look fine in that." I joked, making her look up at me and give me a meaningful look.
"Ha ha, very funny.. I'll be in my room," She started walking towards the door, about to pass me, but my voice took her attention.
"Actually, princess," She looked at me, clearly not liking the nickname I had for her. "You could be useful. Get dressed and come downstairs. We might find out where the necklace is."

Dimitri's POV
The power my family held for centuries was a curse. We were all unmercifully cursed with that strength, force running underneath our veins. Cursed in this world and since forever, I knew there was no escaping. The only light in my life was Amelia. She gave me the best gift, and I was ready to destroy anyone who got in my way to protect her and my daughter.
I was a ruling now.. Venedocia.. But I never felt more exposed than I was. They knew my weaknesses. And I made sure that they all knew the consequences as well. Anyone who dared to disrespect my queen, to lay a finger on my family ended up dead. Perhaps it was because my mind was haunted by the past. A wave of darkness that almost took us all under only a few years ago.
So many unfinished things still left like that made me keep wondering how and when was the time to actually finish that. Put an an to it. Christian kept insisting, but some things needed to be handled at certain time. Otherwise we would have to go through the same damn nightmare all over again.
But I did know one thing. That I will do right by her. My daughter. Annabelle. And I will never let the history repeat itself.
"Dimitri," That soft tone, the voice I knew so well took my attention. I looked up just to see Amelia walking in. "You've been here all day." I tried making the situation as calmed as possible, knowing that she was maybe the only one that worried as much, knowing that the only purpose was to keep Annabelle safe and away from Adam. Who was still not dead.
I looked at her as I stood up, each time taking in every feature of hers, absorbing every little shape her figure held. So fucking beautiful. The waves on her hair seemed to have a lighter shine when she walked in the bright room, and those wide eyes of dark green and ember was what gave her away more than anything else. The black shirt and jeans she was wearing lined every curve and edge on her body, making an insane contrast with her pale skin.
But when I rounded the desk and walked closer, I knew exactly what was going through her mind. Even though those hazels still held that same spark of fire, they've grown colder with time, more serious and focused on nothing else but safety. Having her on the same page as me made things easier, but at the same time, I kept asking and pushing her to tell me everything that was on her mind, because if we wanted this to work, we had to do it together. Christian was the one that worried me.
"There were a lot of things I had to take care of today," I told her as I took her hand and she took a few lazy steps towards me. Her eyes searched me for more answers, almost as if she was trying to read more than I said. She inhaled softly wanting to say something, but I seemed to break whatever thought was going through her head when I pressed my lips against hers. I hadn't seen her all day, she couldn't turn the subjects so quickly.
Something about having her close to myself filled me up, as always leaving me breathless when she was near, completely lost and compelled. That lavander smell filled my senses, and my mind seemed instantly mixed. She knew how to do that so effortlessly easy, and there I was wondering what I did to deserve her.
But when she pulled away, looking downwards for a second, I knew she was not going to give up so easily. As always, whenever I held her hand, she did that little caress with her thumb before she looked up at me. "Things about Adam?"
I closed my eyes for another second and released a slight breath. I didn't want to lie to her. She was into this as much as all of us were. "I sent Aldon and Luke to check up on the house today." She looked at me with such curiosity and concentration in her eyes, but I didn't have all the answers for her. Yet. "I expect that there's still more time.. Till the spell breaks." I added, and she instantly looked away.
"What if I can redo the spell.." Her voice slightly trailed off as she took a small step backwards.
"Calliope already said that that's impossible. You don't have that kind of energy." She closed her eyes for a second, putting a few stands away from her face.
I wanted to tell her to not over think it, but I knew that I was no better.. If Adam woke up before we could stop him it would only make things more difficult. And Annabelle had already inherited all of out enemies. That's everything that was wrong with this world we lived in.
I heard her exhale a sharp breath before she looked back at me. "I'm not staying here, Dimitri. Right now, Annabelle will be safest with my mom, and we both know that we'll get nowhere with just sitting here. Christian is already a step ahead of us.. He's after the necklace."
I nodded my head. Nothing new. Christian always tested his limits, no matter what I told him. "I figured it out." She was right. Annabelle was supposed to stay as far away from this as possible. We agreed that we were going to protect her innocence as long as possible, and Adam running around freeing and wanting to destroy us was not the way to do it. I glanced back at her, just to find her arms firmly crossed against her chest, her eyes focused on on thing then another within seconds, with a such concentration I've never seen behind those hazels before. "Hey, baby, look at me,"
She looked up quickly, her eyes searching mine for a second, but she was certain in her decision and I completely agreed with that. I just needed to hear from Aldon and Luke. "I'm serious. I know that Annabelle was born into this world just like us, but the least we can do is protect her for as long as possible, because we both know how it turned out for us." I leaned on the desk and the smallest pull was enough for her to get closer.
When I pressed my lips against her forehead I could feel her hand slightly relaxing in mine. "Okay," I broke the silence causing her look up at me. "We'll do that. You know I'll do anything to keep you two safe." She nodded her head slightly, her lips parting to say something, but the buzzing of my phone interrupted her.
I took it, just to see a text from Luke. I thought that it might be it, that they figured something out, and I knew Amelia was searching my face for answers. But we were long away from the answers we needed. And it seemed like there were things we didn't understand yet to cross our way. Non of us lived in peace, but after that day, a storm greater than the one before seemed to hang over us.
"What is it?"
"It's fine, the spell still lasts." I tried studying his words once more.. "They just saw a pale light on the way out." I looked back at her, but she just seemed to be focusing on my words. "Could it mean anything?"
