Going to the third shop in the kids area, Kiya groaned openly showing her annoyance. Jimin gave her an apologetic look for the second time and continued to eye around for a suitable gift.

"Stop making weird ass noises. If you are bored then you can just leave. I'm not walking out of here till I find something decent." Hoseok, who joined Jimin to find a gift for little Jae as well made it clear to Kiya.

"But I'm hungry. It's been almost an hour since we came here. This is not what I had in mind when you guys said lets grab something to eat and do some shopping." She scowled at Hoseok.

"Then go and eat. You are the one who tagged along saying you got no other plans." Hoseok shot back. Before the two of them break into a fight, Jimin sighed and jumped in to break it apart, "Ok now don't waste more time fighting. Kiya, if you are really hungry then it's ok, just go to the food court and eat something. Hoseok and I will join you once we find a gift. Please try to understand that we need to find one today. It's really important to me." Jimin said nicely and Kiya just pouted not wanting to leave because obviously she was here for Jimin. She decided to up her game and approach Jimin without laying low and waiting for him to come to her. Especially not after that day at Jungkook's. She saw the way he looked at you and She very well knew that the Jimin now won't easily give attention to women unless they have a connection.

"It's fine. We can eat together. But why are you two searching for a kid's gift urgently?" She questions with a raised eyebrow because as far as she knows, no one got kids except for Jin's nephew and niece. At her question Hoseok gave a huge grin and looked at Jimin who was checking out some RC cars.

"It's for our little Jae. His birthday is tomorrow." Jimin smiles to himself thinking about spending time with you and Jae tomorrow, sadly not alone though.

"Jae? Who is that?" Kiya got curious, specially after seeing Hoseok's amused face.

"Oh! Jae is someone very special. Specially to him since he has been trying to win someone's heart. Isn't that right Jimin?" Hoseok wiggled his brows and Jimin just rolled his eyes, both of them unaware of Kiya's sudden change of mood.

"I'm not that low to use Jae to get to Y/n. I can do it on my own. I just genuinely love that boy and her being his mother is just my luck I guess." Jimin really meant it. He never thought of using Jae to get close to you. He was fond of Jae even before knowing that he was your kid. And also it's not only Jae that he is deeply fond of but you as well.

"Ohhhh! Jimina is so grown." Hoseok tried to tease but was interrupted by a shocked looking petite woman.

"What? Are you two kidding? Or am I hearing things? and Y/n? Isn't that the girl from JK's place few days back. The girl who was fighting with JK all the time?" Kiya's voice continuously rose making the two men raise their brows with eyes going bit wide.

"Y-Yeah.. that's her. Why?" Hoseok replied wondering if it upset her. He knew that Kiya had a huge crush on Jimin back in the days but lately she didn't show any interest so just like Jimin, even he assumed that it's no longer the case and thought that Kiya had moved on.

"She got a KID! And you are interested in her?" Kiya was having a hard time processing this new information.

"Yeah. So what?" Jimin got a bit annoyed with her sudden outburst of you and the way she emphasized the word Kid, but he simply brushed pass her and walked to the other side to continue with his gift hunting. It was not a crime. And he didn't like how Kiya is looking at him right now and put it out like it's something illicit or probably a contagious disease or something.

"What do you mean so what? She got a kid. and probably a man who gave that kid to her." Kiya continued showing her annoyance.

"Out of the picture. The only man she got is her son."

"But still. Do you even know why he left?" Kiya didn't want to let this go easily as she was slowly getting angry. After all these years she just can't bear to accept that Jimin is really liking a woman with a kid over her. And a woman who looked very plain.

"Do I look like I care? And why is this bothering you?" Jimin shot at her with a visible frown on his face.

"Because you are my friend. You worked hard to build up your life and start fresh. I'm sure a fresh starts doesn't include excess baggage." 

"Kiya!" Jimin gave a warning look. 

"Don't try to Kiya me Jimin.. tell me it's a joke. Do you even know her well enough? Or what she does?" Just like that she started throwing questions one after another to which Jimin decided to ignore. He didn't have the time to deal with this and nor did he care about her opinions. He already knows what he's doing and what he wants. So he just blocked her out as she kept getting more angry.

 Not wanting to be in middle of this commotion, Hoseok slowly thought of slipping out of the shop. He had a feeling that it might not end up well and at the end he would have to get involved. So making sure that those two are not looking at him, he walked backwards eyes fixed on the two without giving much thought about the surroundings. So once he was out of the shop, he accidently bumped into someone making the person spill the drink which he or she was holding.

"Oh shit. I'm so sorry. I didn't see you. It's totally my fau-" Hoseok immediately started to apologize not caring the liquid dripping down his hand. But as he turned, he went into a shock state and wasn't even able to finish what he was saying when he saw who he bumped into. The annoyed look that the other person had changed looking back at Hoseok.

"Hobi?"

"Ash." Her name barely left his mouth as he kept gawking at her. The girl he haven't seen since college, the girl who always lingered in his heart, the girl who he couldn't confess to, simply the one that got away was standing in front of him after many years. 

"Oh my god. Hobi. It's been so long. I can't believe this. How have you been?" Unlike Hoseok, Ash was pretty pleased to see an old friend.

"Y-Yeah. It's been a while. I'm good. How are you?" Hoseok tried not to stutter.

"I'm good too. I just got back to Seoul from New York two days ago. Never thought I would bump into someone from the past." Past! Yeah, she is past Hoseok reminded to himself in that moment. But why is she here again? Didn't she say that she'll never comeback.. but here she is.. Standing here as if she is here to give a second chance to confess the bottled up feelings.

"That's really nice. You can have a look around. So many things have changed here in Seoul." Hoseok didn't know what else to say as his mind was storming with wild thoughts as he tried to come up with possibilities and reasons to why that he bumped into her again. His mind was neglecting the idea of it being pure coincidence in that moment.  

"I can see that. So have you. You look good." Ash flashed her beautiful smile at him. It still fluttered his heart. And he got to admit that she looks more beautiful now.

"You look beautiful as always. Maybe even more now." He smiled. "And I'm really sorry about your drink, luckily it didn't get on to your clothes."

"You know what. Since you spilled my drink. Why don't you buy me one and we can catch up on things what we missed." Ash offered smiling back getting to the point straightaway making it clear that she wasn't going to let Hoseok go anytime soon. His heart tugged at the request, he hardly sat with her alone back in the college because he would get shy. But not anymore, after loosing his chance with her, Hoseok changed and decided never to let opportunities go. So being a sucker for her, Hoseok couldn't refuse and was quick to agree on it. 

He looked back inside the store and saw that Kiya was huffing and puffing with crossed arms while Jimin didn't pay any attention. Jimin was smiling at whatever two boxes he was holding like he was contemplating what he should get. Seeing that Jimin had it all under control, Hoseok pulled out his phone to drop a text to Jimin that he would be at the ground floor Café.

"Where are we going?" You tried your luck once again, turning your head towards the gorgeous man who had his one hand on the steering wheel as he drove coolly with a soft smile on his lips. He looked so surreal in that button down shirt and dark jeans. His beautiful eyes were hidden behind those dark glasses he was wearing, but you feel his gaze on you time to time.

"You will see. We are almost there." He simply replies taking a turn. You really didn't know where he was taking you and Jae. All he said was he is keeping Jae's birthday promise, which non of the two males told you about. You are a bit bitter about how Jae is much closer to Jimin and started sharing secrets with each other without you. But deep down seeing those two together, you secretly liked it, specially when they get together and tease to annoy you.

Soon you were out of the city and the sea came into the view, gasping you looked at Jimin while Jae squealed happily in his car seat looking out of the window with happy big shining eyes. "We are here buddy. Are you excited?" Jimin grinned looking up at Jae through the rear-view mirror.

"Yess! I can't wait go touch water!" He lisped happily missing out few words and Jimin chuckled making you smile wider.

"So..this was the secret promise huh?" You asked eyeing Jimin. He grinned giving a side way glance as he changed the gears to slow down.

"Guilty. But don't you like it?"

"I love it. It's been a while since I came to the beach.. We can even watch the sunset before we go." You kind of squealed showing your excitement making Jimin grin wider.

"Oh but we are not going home today. So you can enjoy your sunset and the beach in peace as much as you want." Jimin says finally pulling up in a private parking lot. You looked around and the view was so beautiful with a rest house in sight. More like a modernized beach cottage to be exact.

"What do you mean?" You questioned not even realizing that Jimin was already getting down from the car. He first came to your side and opened the door for you. Something that he had started doing whenever you go out together.

"What I mean is.. we will be staying the night here." He gave another short reply and opened the back door to get Jae out.

"We? Just us? How did you even get this place?" You ask eyes going bit wide as you never expected this. Your heartstrings immediately started tugging not knowing what to feel or how to react to this information as your cheeks caught light hues of pink.

"No.. not just us. This place belongs to one of Jin's cousins. So he let us borrow it."

"Who else?" You ask walking towards the cottage following Jimin.

"You will see." He simply says. Not long after, you were greeted by Vinny, Mel, Joanne and Taehyung as you entered the cottage. The were moving some bags and a box which looked like some decorations and food items. Your eyes grew wide as you realized what's going on.

"You guys planned this? Is this what I think it is?" You ask in surprise.

"Yup! We are going to throw a small party for our little Jae and celebrate it together a bit grandly this time." Vinny threw an arm around your shoulder and wiggled her brows showing her excitement.

"Vee.. You know that I-"

"Before you could go all whiny... it's just us. No outsiders. The rest of the guys will come in the evening. Jin said he will bring along his brother's kids so Jae will not be alone and have his friends. We can give that boy a proper birthday. So lets not rob it away from him even though you have your reasons." Vinny says the last bit seriously. Your eyes traveled to the open space out in the front where you could see Jae happily jumping in the sand looking excited. Of course you will never rob his happiness away. And things have changed now,  So you give a big smile and a nod.

"But how are we all gonna stay in here? This place doesn't look that big. And it got only two rooms." You wondered while taking a look around.

"You don't have to worry about that. Not everyone is staying back and we can figure something out for the rest."

"The girls can have one room and the boys the other. We can have our own fun. Also there is a nice tent out in the beachfront to whoever is down to sleep in the open." Mel jumped in.

"No! No one is touching that because that's where we will setup the whole cake table and all." Joanne quickly voiced out and Vinny nodded.

"You can move it later. It's so beautiful and big." Mel complained and it seemed like they were going to bicker about it so you decided to break it off.

"Ok ok we can see about that later. Now tell me.. what are you guys upto? I'll help too. And you.. I can't believe you did all of this without telling me." You pointed at Vinny with squinted eyes.

"Don't look at me. I'm not behind this... fully! It was Jimin's idea mainly. He wanted to do something special for Jae." She added smiling.

"He did?" You ask taking in this new information which made you smile giving you nice feelings.

"Yes.. he did. And we don't want you here. So shoo.. go away. Go enjoy the beach or something. Don't come here till we call you." Vinny gave a light push.

"What? why?" You wanted to protest but Joanne and Mel joined in Vinny to push you out.

"You don't need to be here. Just relax and leave everything to us. I don't want you picking on things and complaining. So go keep Jae away from here till everything is ready." Before you knew it, they just threw you out and closed the sliding glass door on you. Without a glance they went back to doing their thing as if you weren't even there.

Huffing and scoffing you turned on your heel and walked towards the shore where Jae was playing with Jimin while giggling. He looked up at you as you approached them, seeing your annoyed face he gives you a questioning look.

"Can you believe it. Those idiots just threw me out thinking that I would disrupt my own son's birthday party. Does that even makes sense." You complained to Jimin who let out a chuckle.

"Maybe they are just giving you a break. And probably wanted you to keep Jae occupied. Besides.. isn't it a good thing.. now you can take a walk along the shore and we could peacefully watch the sunset out here with no disturbance." Jimin pointed out hoping that it would lighten your mood, and it worked. Seeing the surrounding, the scowl left your face and the awe feeling crept in. It really is a private area and it looks super clean and beautiful.

"I guess you are right."

The sand was softly golden with just the right amount of comforting warmth. To rest on the beach like this feels like a cozy hug, one only matched by the setting sun that filled the sky. Jae stretches out both arms and legs to look like a boy-starfish, his grin growing slowly into a broad smile as his two friends did the same. He seemed to be enjoying a lot more than you not caring about the time that's passing by. The only marker of time today is the sun above, the moments savoured by the waves that wash the sands in white lace.

You've always liked to walk on the beach. You like the feeling of the coarse sand between your toes as your feet sink into it with each slow step. You love the way the the ocean paws inquisitively at your passing footprints. The sea is truly beautiful. You've always admired it. Jimin looked at your smiling face as you watched the disappearing footprints while walking beside you.

"How come you are not sitting down and enjoying the sunset today. Weren't you eager to see it?" Jimin questions as he turned to watch his own footsteps washing away as the waves touches yours and his feet before going back to where it belongs for mere seconds, just to come back crashing to the shore.

"I am watching it. But while enjoying this unexpected walk next to you in an unexpected place. It's been a while since I came to a beach so I'm just fascinated by how everything feels and how the presence of us being here is washed away in seconds no matter how many times we walk over this shoreline."

"Well beach is a place where the tides will wash away everything including your sorrows. I like to believe that the waves gently erases our past as we walk on the beach. Your footprints only last for a short while." Jimin pauses as he stares up at the sky, taking in the setting sun and stops walking. You look at him intrigued by what he has to say.

"Life is much like your footprints. While those footprints may be visible for a short time eventually they are washed away. It is only where you stand that you let your presence be known. When you step away the footprints will be filled in by the rushing water. You need to be present today where you are and you need to make a difference today. Life isn't about what you have done.. it is about what you are doing." He speaks and looks down at his own feet. Your heart felt it deep and you looked down at yours before looking up to see him looking at you. 

"But..." He trailed off.

"But?" You tilted your head and then he gave a breathtaking warm smile that gave you flutters, specially when he put out his hand for you. Without any hesitation you placed yours in his not sure what he is up to but you didn't mind his warmth taking over you. 

"But.. even if these footsteps are washed away.." He says as he walks more towards the water to show you the vanishing footprints as you now stood in water where water is upto your ankles. "The memories and this feeling you feel right now always stays." He simply says as his warmth radiate through his hand. You stare at him in awe for a minute. Trying to figure him out is one of your favorite things to do lately.

"Sometimes you are full of surprises. With you, so many unexpected things happens." You say to him honestly and he gives you a cocky smirk changing the mood. But his words remains deep as he speaks again.

"Well.. You are bound to meet unexpected situations in life. No matter what.. you can't avoid them, we just need to accept it and see how it goes." You look at him seriously for a brief second as you got a strange feeling of that he was talking about you and him as you took in what he said. "Unexpected situations." You repeated and suddenly a mischievous smile spread across Jimin's face. You didn't like it as you narrowed your eyes at him.

"Yes.. Unexpected situations.. like this." He says splashing sea water on you. You gasped open mouthed surprised by his sudden attack. "Hey!!! You.. That's unfair." You scolded as you splashed water back at him. But that didn't stop there as you both started to splash each other while giggling, laughing and yelping. His loud laugh resonated your ears and the way how happy he was looking gave you a weird sensation creating your own happiness.

He grabbed your hand as you tried to get away from there. "Not so fast." He says almost pulling you to the water. Even though you both were half soaked, you still yelped and playfully pushed Jimin causing him to fall back. You laughed at him, bending forward to rest your palms on your knees as the salt water hit his beautiful face.

In that moment, you should have just runaway but you were too late because Jimin caught you and pulled you making you fall to the water as well. And in that same second, you don't know how or from where but Jae joined in as well. His tiny giggles got louder as he splashed water with his tiny hands. "You too! How could you do this to Momma." You chuckle as you threw water at him too.

"I want to play with Momma and Mr. Angel too." He says and Jimin pulls Jae to him. "Come on Buddy, lets get Momma." He cheered and attacked you along with your son. You didn't back down at all.

This continued for a while as you three heard your names calling. You turned your head to see Taehyung and Joanne approaching.

"Oh god! You guys are all wet. How can you even attend the table now?" Joanne exclaimed.

"Everything is set. We worked our ass off and just came to get you. And ya'll are having fun without us huh." Taehyung complained as Vinny jogged towards them.

"Yah! You guys are the ones who chased us away. And a little bit of water doesn't hurt." You say smirking.

"Yup! We never told you not to have fun." Jimin says splashing water towards Taehyung. He dodged it and the water splash landed on Vinny who howled. "WHAT THE FUCK! YAHH!"

"Ok! Calm down.. we don't have time for this. Lets go finish off cutting the cake and then we can fool around." Joanne said quickly stopping Vinny from getting worked up. You snickered behind Jimin as your best friend was probably plotting revenge behind those narrowed eyes.

"I'll deal with you later. Now lets go get changed. come one.. get out of that water." Vinny ordered.

"Change to what?" You ask standing up.

"We got you covered. Come on now." Joanne said and you raised a brow at them. You were suspicious of the whole thing but yet you just followed after making sure Jae was out of the water with Jimin.

Thirty minutes later you were standing in front of a mirror, all dressed up in a pretty dress with light simple make-up on. You couldn't believe that your two closest friends went to this extent to celebrate this day and even bought you new clothes. You did whine saying it's not even your own birthday but those two stubborn asses said it's a mother and son day. So both should look presentable. And what's worse is Vinny had gotten you a dress with a pretty deep neck cut showing a little bit of your breasts more than necessary. You tried to pull the dress a little bit up as you barely wear dresses like this anymore.

"Stop that right now. It's not that showing. Bitch you are woman with nice boobs. It won't kill to show this much rather than covering everything up to your neck 24/7." Vinny scolded. You groaned but let go of the dress in defeat.

"Good. Now turn around and let me see." She ordered and you did as she said knowing that she needs to approve before you could step out of this room. You watched her eyes travelling down your head, to the face and stopped around your neck as she squinted her eyes.

"You finally got a pendant to your chain?" She questioned cocking a brow. " When did you get it? Weren't you hell bent on not wearing anything other than a simple chain all these years? And how come I never saw this till now?" She started throwing questions one after the other making you roll your eyes.

"Oh gosh Vee.. one question at a time please. And no.. I didn't go shopping without you nor did I buy this." You say as your voice lowered as you blushed a little.

"Then?" She asked a smile creeping her lips like she already knew.

"Well.. Jimin won it for me during the carnival last week." You answer sheepishly and recieved a total harmless, playful slap to your arm.

"Ouch! what was that for.." You complained being a little dramatic as she giggled. 

"Just.. happy that things are slowly progressing.. And I have noticed that you no longer deny things." She calls you out and you remain silent as you bit down your own lip. She wasn't wrong, lately you just blush whenever they comment about Jimin rather than denying. Things have definitely changed for you even though you didn't know where it's leading you to. You are just living the moment till you are certain about things. 

"It's really pretty. Specially in this dress." Vinny added knowing that you were not going to say anything and just continued to do final touches to the hair till she gave a nod in satisfaction. 

"Ok now lets go get the birthday boy and cut the cake." Joanne said walking into the room with Mel behind her.

"Aww Y/n, you look so pretty. You match to them perfectly." Mel goes all awe seeing you.

"Them?" You cocked a brow at her and she also tilted her head at you as she just registered something.

"Waiit! Am I missing something?" She asks and Vinny shared a knowing smirk with Joanne.

"Not really. You will figure it out." Joanne didn't say much as she tugged on to your arm as she ushered you all out.

You have to say that they turned this cottage into a pretty cozy place with subtle decorations and a lot of lights. But what took you by surprise was the outdoor tent by the shore. It looked more like a romantic tent than a kid's birthday celebration tent. There were orange fairy lights on the white drapes, pastel blue and white color balloons hung on the four poles. A table set on the middle with a cake, some snacks and gifts on it. Little throw pillows and a blanket with some beer bottles as well.

You could see that the rest has already gathered up, laughing and chattering. You kind of got nervous as you slowly took the steps inside the tent with your friends following behind.

"Finally. took you guys long enough." Jungkook commented seeing you. But your eyes searched for someone else rather than meeting his. Once you found the person you were looking for, your breath hitched seeing him already staring at you with shining eyes, lips curled up in to a beautiful smile. His eyes lingered on you, slowly taking you in, not in lust but in awe. You notice his smile grew wider as his eyes landed on the charm he gave you, which was now beautifully wrapped around your neck. He looked happy and satisfied seeing it, you could tell just by the glint in his eyes. 

"Momma! Come here." Jae who was seated next to Jimin called out to you. Your eyes turned to him, giving him a smile you went to join him. "You look so handsome, honey." You kiss your boy's cheek as he shied away. And it didn't take you long to realize what Mel was talking about earlier. You looked at what Jae was wearing and then back up at Jimin and then at yourself. The patterns of what you three are wearing maybe different, but the colors are similar and well matching. It looked like you three were a family. Your eyes snapped up at Vinny knowing very well that it must be her who was behind this and she gave you a playful wink with a huge ass smile tugging her lips. You frowned at her but secretly you liked it and she knew it too.

"You look more beautiful tonight." Jimin says getting your attention. 

"Thanks." Your cheeks heat up a bit. "You look pretty good as well." His eyes twinkled the moment they met yours before taking in your whole face. Those butterflies took flight again and you both looked away when throat clearing sounds emerged around you.

"Ok.. Shall we get the party started now." Hoseok says impatiently making few of you chuckle.

"Yeah.. lets get it started." Jungkook added and you all got ready to sing the birthday song as Jimin took out a candle to lit up.  He covered the flame with your help to keep it safe from the wind till your boy was ready to blow it out.

"Make a wish and blow the candle ok hun." You say to Jae who looked very happy with sparkling big eyes. He gave a nod and clasped his hands together. He looked at you and then at Jimin before closing his eyes to make his wish. As you all sang, he opened his eyes and blew the candle. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" You all shouted and he giggled looking happier than ever. You hugged your boy and gave him another kiss feeling happy in that moment.

Everyone wished him and gave him gifts one after another. You all sat there eating cake as he unwrapped one by one to see his reaction. It was priceless and you felt thankful towards Jungkook because he was recording everything with his newly bought camera.

The party continued turning into an adults one after the kids fell asleep hours later. After sometime, some of them left and some were inside fully drunk and probably sleeping here and there. It was just you and Jimin who was out alone in the tent, enjoying the beautiful calming beach with a bottle of beer in the hands of both of you.

The night sky was moonless but the stars shined brightly, looking so pretty. Mindlessly you smiled at them, feeling very light hearted and happy after a long time. For once, you were not alone. You were sharing this moment with this amazing guy who was seated next to you. And of course your friends who are like family. Your thoughts were about to run wild before it was stopped by Jimin.

"Are you drunk?" Jimin asks lightly chuckling when he sees you smiling to yourself, staring into space.

"No.. I just feel like I'm on clouds. And I just always choose not to get drunk if I can help it." You say thinking about why you don't get drunk easily. It's not something very easy for you.

"Why not?" He questions softly, looking genuinely curious.

"Because I hate the feeling.. Being out of it, being vulnerable." You pause to sigh before looking back at him with deep emotion filled eyes. " And specially making me want to be more honest." You give a bit sad smile.

"What's wrong with being honest? Life will be exhausting if you keep everything bundled up." He pointed out but you just shook your head lightly.

"Its just sometimes.. somethings are better kept unspoken." You say and Jimin looks at you with his warm inviting eyes. But you didn't want to talk about this since you were feeling nice and happy. So you changed the topic into something else, something about him so that you could get to know him more. It's not that you both haven't been sharing stuff the past couple of weeks, but you were a bit curious about this thought. "Can I ask you something?"

"Don't you feel lonely living alone?" you ask once he gave you a silent nod.

"Sometimes. But when your heart is full you just don't feel like you are alone." he says and you look at him with dreamy eyes liking his answer.

"What?" He asks smiling after seeing your reaction. For a second you thought of ignoring that question but you didn't.

" Nothing serious.. it's just you are fascinating."

"How so?" He asks getting into the mood with you.

" Hmm I don't know.. it feels like we are from two different worlds. it's like a penguin from Antarctica met a polar bear from North." You say hoping he understood what you are trying to say. Because to you, he is someone so different and unreal and totally opposite from you in your opinion.

Jimin just stares at you for few seconds before he spoke softly. "But they are both from the same freezing climate. So they both can understand how it feels." your heart clenched at that. You didn't expect an answer like that but it hit you deep. And you had some sense of realization rushing through you at that as you stared into his eyes. It's like he was inviting you in and telling you that he understands you. 

"I guess opposites do attract then." You say moving your eyes to his lips briefly before looking back at his. Silence falls between the two of you and Jimin swallows hard, his Adam's apple bobbing before he slowly leans in towards you after taking in your eyes, scent, face and the beautiful lips. His hand slowly comes up to tuck away the loose strand behind your ear which was getting in the way of your face because of the breeze. 

"Y/N," He drawls, looking at you through his hooded eyes shifting from your eyes to your lips. His face now only few inches apart from yours. You blink at him as you feel your heart somewhere in your throat, wondering what was he thinking of and why he was looking at you like that. He has an unreadable different look on his face, almost as pleading you for something. He watches you with desires but he stays put, not moving any more inch closer to you.

"Can I kiss you?" He asks so softly, that your heart melts before you hear your heart drumming in your ears.

"W-what?" You idiot..stop ruining the moment pretending to be dumb. You did hear him right but you can't help but ask him, not believing your own ears. He surely didn't mean that, right? I mean.. Jimin wants to kiss me? For real!

Jimin doesn't react with chuckles like he usually does, instead he leaves his eyes fixed on you. "Can I kiss you?" if he feels self-conscious, he doesn't let it show as he is confidently staring at you.

You caught his eyes immediately and his plum lips that looks so inviting as it craves for yours ..gosh I wanted kiss them so badly. Without saying anything you closed the remaining gap. For once you let your heart take control.

Taking in the hint, he moves towards you, his lips parting slightly, the look on his face a mix between uncertainty and longing laced with desires. You knew you'd never forget that look–as long as you lived, you'd never forget the sheer beauty of the expression on Jimin's face. You drank it in, memorized it, made it a part of you. And then his lips reached yours, a breathless sound came unbidden up you throat. His eyes opened and for a second he paused, his eyes growing even darker before he pressed his lips firmly against yours, closing his eyes once more. You closed yours too and soaked in the feel of his soft lips tasting yours, experimenting, brushing softly and then pressing again.

He moved his body closer to yours and grabs your face gently, hand spreading on your neck with his thumb on your cheek. Lips moving delicately against yours savoring every passing second as he consumed not only your lips but your heart as well. His lips were warmer and softer than anything you could have imagined. His touch feathery soft, sending a shiver that travels down your spine. You wanted to preserve this moment, this slice of time when the night was cool and bright with shining stars. You never dreamed of a kiss perfect as this in your entire life.

Jimin pressed his body even closer in that second and a small exhale released from his mouth to yours, as if he was breathing life into you. And maybe he was. Maybe he had been all along. And you are finally seeing it, feeling it.

Your heart was thumping so hard and your whole body felt like it was passing sparks. It feels like a dream. Even though your lips were pressed against this angelic man, you still couldn't believe that this was happening. Jimin is kissing me! We are kissing! Your insides were doing flips. To believe that this is really happening, to feel him, you finally ran your hand up Jimin's neck to thread your fingers in his soft silky hair. It feels real! This is real!

The kiss was not rushed, it's tingling and perfect. Giving you the flutters in all the right places. Without doubt you can say that Jimin is a great kisser. It's been so long since you've been kissed that you no longer remembered how it feels. But non of them mattered because right now.. this feels like the first time. He tasted sweet and fresh apart from the slight taste of the beer he had been sipping. His lips can be dangerously addicting, just like him.

After few more seconds he pulls away slowly making sure when he opens his eyes, he's looking straight into yours with unrecognizable glint in them. He traces your lips with his thumb, before he rested his forehead against yours as you both took deep heavy breaths from all that kissing. His nose brushed against yours and you couldn't think straight at all. You wanted to let go of yourself completely but you couldn't. Not here. Your friends and Jae were here. You didn't know what this kiss meant and what's going to happen next. But you decided to wait till tomorrow to talk about it. Where you both will be 100 % sober and not lost in this moment.

"I think.. we should go inside now." You say nudging your nose against his before letting go of him to sit back properly.

"Don't go. Lets stay here." Jimin moves his hand to take yours to prevent you from getting up. His eyes sparkled as they bore into yours. You could see hint of satisfaction and happiness dancing in them.

"I-I... Well.."

"Don't worry.. I won't rush into anything. Just stay here.. with me." He spoke quickly thinking that maybe you were getting uncomfortable. A smile tugged your lips at that. Of course you knew he wouldn't cross any lines, specially when he asked permission to kiss you first earlier. No one had done that before and something about him asking for your consent made the whole experience more fluttering.

"Sure. For a little while longer." You say as you laced your fingers through his and he gave a light squeeze before holding it firmer. You both stared at the night sky while listening to the waves crash. Both of you had a lot going on in your hearts but remained silent for a while just enjoying each others presence.

"Today was very unexpected. I don't even have words to explain how I'm feeling right now." You say breaking the silence, wanting to share the bubbling feeling you have inside of you.

"Me too. I just love it." He agrees.

"You do?" You ask turning your head to look at him as he did the same.

"Hm.. I love everything about today, specially here, right now.. this very moment...the bonfire, the sound of waves, the breeze, the scent of the surrounding, the stars, And You!" He says looking dreamily at you his words tugging at your heartstrings. "Everything is perfect." He added.

In that very moment unable to hold back, you leaned up and kissed him lightly on his mouth for few brief seconds. When you leaned back, his face broke into a huge grin. Oh God, my heart. My heart couldn't take those grins. They were too much–too beautiful and too overwhelming.

"Just perfect." You whispered back feeling his thumb gently caressing the top of your hand as you rested your head on his shoulder with a wide grin plastered on your lips. While passing the night away with man who had successfully got a hold of your heart.
