Parking the car in front of Jungkook's house, Jimin quickly got down in a hurry to go in. He was suppose to come here an hour ago but he suddenly got caught with some urgent work. He knew that you would be here only another two hours max since you would go back to pick up Jae. Ever since you broke the news that Sana will be taking over his bonding time with you and Jae, he was a little uneasy. He loved those hours he spent with the little one and late night talks with you while having dinner. But now he is going to miss them a lot unless he starts doing what his heart has been telling him to do all these days. These baby steps were kind of killing him, but he needs to make sure that you are comfortable first.

As he got inside the house, he was greeted by Hoseok and Yoongi who were preparing some snacks on the counter. "You actually came? I thought you bailed too." Hoseok pointed and Yoongi let out a tiny scoff, smirking to himself knowing that Jimin wouldn't bail on this opportunity easily, specially when you are here.

"I was just caught up with some work. Where are the others?" Jimin asks walking towards his two friends to help them with the plates after seeing them struggling.

"They are already at the back playing around by the pool. But Jin is not coming because Sarang is not feeling well and Joon is going to pick a venue for the wedding with Mel." Hoseok informs. Jimin just nods and follows with a plate in his hand as he was impatient to see you even though he was just with you yesterday. Ever since the moment he held you in his arms and hugged you yesterday, his heart doesn't feel the same, now it just simply beats thousand times more when he is thinking of you.

Reaching to the sliding door that leads to the pool, Jimin immediately heard your voice along with Jungkook's. It seemed like you two were fighting or something. "I think those muts are still fighting over the bottle flip game." Yoongi muttered.

"I'm sure Kook is gonna get his ass kicked sooner or later. Y/n was up to her limit earlier." Hoseok snickered.

After hearing out what the two males said, Jimin kind of had an idea what's going on so when you came into the view with your arms crossed, glaring at Jungkook didn't come as a surprise. He sure have heard that you two fight a lot but this would be the first time witnessing it.

"You are a fucking cheater. I flipped the bloody bottle perfectly but you put your leg in front." You hissed at Jungkook.

"No.. I did not! You fucking flipped it on to my leg. It's not my fault that you suck at this game." Jungkook mocked you enjoying every bit of your annoyance.

"You know what.. fuck you and fuck this game. I don't wanna play with immature cheaters who cannot even play fair with a woman." You scowled.

"Everything is fair and square in love and war Panda express. With you it's always war... so just admit that you can't beat me." Jungkook teased you knowing very well you wouldn't quit if he puts it like that.

"I'll show you.. you jungle monkey bananacrook." You got back to your position and started playing all over again while bickering along with Taehyung and Joanne. Jimin set one of the plates on the coffee table which was near him and sat down next to Vinny with a smirk tugged on his lips. You were so focused on the game feeling frustrated that you didn't even notice Jimin coming. But Jimin didn't mind it because he was getting to see another side of you. A bit playful mischievous side that you don't show much.

"Hey Jimin. Just got in?" Vinny asks sipping on her drink while having her eyes fixed on a book.

"Yep. Just got in. Aren't you gonna play with them?" He asks wondering why she is just here reading a book while others are playing around. Of course except for Hoseok and Yoongi as those two were near the pool bar with  random two girls who were already in their bikinis.

"Trust me.. we are safer like this. Soon this will turn into a pig fight." Vinny warned and Jimin chuckled taking in her warning. Jimin can already have an idea because it used to be like that even back in the days whenever the guys were together. Specially among Jin and Jungkook. 

"Is she this fun to tease? Never seen her this hyped before." Jimin says with his eyes still fixed on you. Vinny lowered the book and peaked up to see who Jimin was talking about, and when she realize that it was about you, she kept the book to a side and straightened up to sit properly.

"She is so much more than she shows us now. Underneath all that tough grown up look there is a silly playful loving girl. You should have seen her when she was younger. You wouldn't believe that it's the same person." Vinny spoke her mind about you.

"That much of a drastic difference huh?" Jimin was not that surprised because he felt that you were not being yourself and he never questioned it because he knew there must be a story to it.

"Yup. You could say that life hit her so hard that she didn't know what to be anymore. She never had it easy from the start.. but she was doing fine till few years ago. But what happened changed her a lot. I won't say it's one hundred percent bad because Jae coming to her life is what kept her going and now she is better.. I would say happier.. specially the past few months ever since Kook's birthday." Vinny hinted sharing a little about you so that Jimin would know why you are like this.

"That's good to know. But may I ask what happened?" Jimin wondered.

"I'm sorry. It's not my story to tell. But you can ask Y/n yourself if you really wanna know about her." Vinny suggested.

"I do wanna know more about her.. But I don't want to make her uncomfortable. I don't think she likes talking about the past and to be honest I really don't care about her past either. What matters is who she is now." Jimin became serious and Vinny watched how he was looking at you. His eyes shined, corners crinkling. The smile on his lips were pure and accepting. If Vinny was not mistaken, she could simply say that it was the look of love.  

"You like her.. don't you?" Vinny's question caught him off guard making him look at her. By the looks she was giving Jimin knew that she had everything figured out. There was no point in lying, specially when she is a psych student.

"Yes. I do. But please keep it to yourself for now."

"Why don't you just tell her." Vinny questioned.

"Because I don't think she is ready to hear it. I believe that you know that better than me." Jimin pointed out and Vinny couldn't help but agree by nodding her head.

"But still.. you can try. At least give off some hints."

"I have been trying. She is just not getting my hints." Jimin shrugged his shoulder.

"You have? Well my friend is a dumb fuck. If you are just giving her discreet or simple hints..she won't get them for shit sake. You gotta be bolder and show how attracted you are to her. Assure her that you care for her and like her. Trust me she will give in. And it's ok to be a bit playful too, making a girl blush means you are making your way to her heart." Your friend was giving out points to capture your heart without knowing that Jimin had already made successful progress towards that goal.

"I see. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks Vee." Jimin gave her a sweet smile.

"No prob. But are you sure about this? I don't want anyone to be close to her if they are just gonna runaway. Y/n already stands strong believing that everyone will runaway and no one wants her. So if you do that.. it will break her and she will never believe anyone in her life again."

"I wouldn't dare come this far if I wasn't sure. I know what I want and what I can handle. So you don't have to worry about that." Jimin assured her.

"Good. Or else I'll be the first one who would kick your balls and send you off flying." Vinny warned and Jimin automatically covered his crotch knowing she was serious about her warning. "Not only that.. You better sleep with your eyes open for the rest of your life after that."

"There is no need of that. I love my sleep." Jimin gulped and Vinny laughed a little seeing his reaction.

"Ok speaking about ways to get close to my bestie. Jae's birthday is coming up. Any ideas in mind?"

"Jae did say that he wants to go to the beach. So I was thinking of taking him and Y/n to one. And she loves watching the sunset as well. So its a win win in both hearts I think." Jimin says what he had been having in his mind.

"Sounds like a plan. We can arrange a small party and rent out a cabin or something for the night. It's always just me and y/n who celebrates his birthday at home. Why don't we make him feel loved." Vinny suggests and Jimin loved the idea. "Don't worry.. we will give you and Y/n the privacy you need to bond." Vinny added in.

"You don't have to do that. I like the idea. Y/n will be much comfortable and happier with you guys around. And it's Jae's day, we should celebrate him." Jimin chuckled.

Smiling Vinny was going to say somethin but stopped as her eyes travelled up right behind Jimin. He wondered what she was looking at with a slight frown on her face, but soon he got his answer as he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Hey Jimin. You are here too."

Jimin turned and was a little surprised to see who it was. "Hey Kiya. Didn't know that you were coming too." Jimin replied giving a small smile but Vinny furrowed her brows a little further as her eyes travelled top to bottom on Kiya.

"Yeah. Yoongi and Hoseok invited me last night and insisted on coming since I missed JK's birthday." Kiya gave her best smile with puppy eyes to Jimin. She was wearing something very revealing on the top with booty shorts, planning to have all the attention from Jimin throughout the day. 

"Yeah.. It's nice to have everyone together like the old times. But Joon and Jin are not here." Jimin tried to make a simple conversation but he kind of panicked when Kiya sat on the arm rest of his chair ignoring Vinny who was seated next to him completely. Jimin heard Vinny scoff under her breath and grab a chip bag that was next to her. She anyways never liked Kiya so her presence never bothered her.

Vinny just picked up the book and tried to read but soon loud cries and yelling broke out. Everyone snapped their heads up to see what the commotion was about, and as usual it was you and Jungkook. Only this time it had gone far and both of you were literally grabbing each others hair. They seriously looked like freaking nursery kids.

"Let go you monkey!" You yelled.

"YOU! let go. You panda."

"Kook I swear I will make you go bald. You damn cheater!"

"I told you I didn't do anything this time. You are so DE lulu. Just admit your defeat." Jungkook yelled back.

"Ahh! bitch it hurts. Let go. Vee.. ask your dumb boyfriend to let go." You yelled at your friend hoping she would come save you even though you couldn't see where she was, but your friend was just munching on chips with an amused expression on her face as you and Jungkook continued to bicker.

"Are you seriously not gonna stop that?" Jimin asks bit worried for you and his friend. He knew Jungkook would never hurt you, but he knew that his friend would not go easy on anyone as well because of his competitive ass.

"Nah!! This is pretty normal. They always asks for it at the end. Besides.. these two are the source of my entertainment during gatherings." Vinny took out another chip and munched on it as if she was enjoying a movie. "Wanna bet on who wins?" She added and Jimin shook his head focused on only watching the two of you as he completely ignored Kiya unintentionally.

"No. You know better. This is my first.. So maybe next time I'll bet." Jimin joked and Vinny snorted. "You gotta point."

"Veeee.. I'm gonna kick your ass if you didn't get your monkey away from me." You managed to glare at your friend as you got a glimpse of her from the corner of your eye.

"You better take your rude panda bestie away too." Jungkook complained.

"Do. not. get. me. involved." Vinny paused after every word and then continued trying to hold back her laughter. "And why should I do shit when you two got yourselves into this."

"Because he is your man"

"Because she is your bestie."

Both you and Jungkook yelled together at the same time and that cracked up Vinny. "Please continue. I'd rather watch you jokers and laugh than stopping you." Jungkook and you frowned as Vinny was mocking you two. Slowly letting go of each other, Jungkook and you looked at each other as you both were channeling your annoyance towards the person who was in common between the two of you. As if Jungkook read your mind, he smirked at you while his eyes turned more mischievous along with yours as you gave a knowing nod.

Meanwhile in midst of this chaos, Jimin saw his soulmate Taehyung, carry his girlfriend to the pool. They were in their own world giggling as they got into the waters. Jimin could literally hear his grown ass friend acting like a baby only to get attention and compliments from his woman. Joanne loves to do that because it makes Taehyung happy. As they were having a moment, Jimin felt a shift next to him and turned to see Kiya leaning towards him. "Do you want to go get in to the pool?" She asked in a low seductive voice.

"Uh-- no sorry. I didn't bring any other clothes." Jimin says scratching the back of his head as he looked down at his jeans and the black T-shirt he was wearing. He hoped to excuse himself using this even though he could just burrow Jungkook's clothes. It's just he was here for his friends and you. And going into a pool with another woman is a big red flag. Jimin is not that dumb.

But before Kiya could say anything else Jimin shifted a bit and leaned forward away from Kiya and looked back up on the right time as you did. Finally you turned towards them and the minute you locked eyes with him, he noticed you turning red. But Jimin just gave a wide ass smile. The next second you were tugged by Jungkook and the gaze which you had locked with him broke. Jimin watched you grin and give a nod to whatever Jungkook said.

The very next moment everything happened so fast as you and Jungkook charged towards the laughing Vinny and picked her up while she squealed and yelled. Carrying her, you both threw her to the pool right when Taehyung was about to give a kiss to Joanne. The water instantly splashed at the couple startling them. Everything was so funny that everyone who witnessed it burst out laughing. Specially the two chaotic devils who did it while the three who were inside the water cussed and cursed. But it didn't end there because you got more devilish and pushed Jungkook in to the water too. "There you go bish! Now we are even." You laughed like a maniac seeing Jungkook's shocked face as Vinny splashed water while laughing.

During this mess, what you failed to notice was Hoseok and Taehyung were signaling Jimin who was closer to you to push you into the pool as well. At first he didn't want to do it, but seeing you laughing and being mischievous, he wanted to play along too. He wanted to be a part of this laughter and this playfulness of yours. He remembered what Vinny told him few minutes ago, be bold and playful.

You, Vinny, Joanne and Jungkook were having a bickering moment while dodging the splashes of water they were trying to hit you with. Making faces at them, you side stepped and suddenly felt a push from behind. Yelping you managed to turn only to see Jimin standing there. You thought you are doomed but Jimin quickly held you by your hand preventing you from falling flat to the pool. Your eyes were wide as tennis balls and your body was half bent towards the pool as your feet were rooted near the edge. Fuck! That was close! You thought but your friends had other things in their minds. 

"Yahh! drop her."

"Let her go Jimina."

"What are you doing? Why did you hold her. I told you to push."

Your friends started shouting and encouraging Jimin to drop you to the water. You look at Jimin with your puppy eyes and he gives you his angelic smile. You thought he would pull you up but his smile turned into a devilish smirk as he suddenly let go of you. Crap! But before you fell back, Panicking you grabbed onto his arm and pulled him along with you to the pool.

Shouts, cheers, hoots, claps and laughter all were heard at once but you just felt like you were drowning inside the pool, unable to come up out of the water. Luckily you quickly felt an arm around you and were pulled up to the top. Finally getting your head out of the water, you quickly clung on to the person who pulled you up, and it was non other than Jimin who was right there in front of you with his arm still on your back, holding you. Coughing a little and wiping your face, you gained a little stability and tried to move back. But Jimin just tightens his grip which was around you and holds you in place. Your heart was drumming inside your chest as you felt your body pressed to his. His gaze was locked with yours and you noticed how his wet hair was pushed back exposing his forehead as water beads dropped down his face. "Are you okay?" He asks, a bit of concern lacing his voice.

No I'm not! How can I when I'm so close to you with you looking like this! You wanted to answer but you kept your inner voice to yourself. It didn't fail your ears to hear soft giggles, throat clearings and whispers around you. So you quickly pulled away from Jimin and splashed water to his face to get back at him. "How can I be ok. Look what you did. how am I even gonna go get Jae?" You complained hitting another splash.

"Oops! Sorry. didn't think of that." Jimin splashed back and you heard Joanne giggle behind you. "What are you laughing at." You splashed at her and then at Vinny. Soon it turned out to be a water fight splashing each other as you all cursed and laughed. Taehyung took this moment to steal kisses from Joanne while Vinny and Jungkook started there personal water fight in a cute way while throwing fits of giggles. They all looked happy and cute doing their own coupley thing, so smiling widely after having the fun moment, You decided to come out of the water hoping to dry yourself up before its time to go get Jae.

As you lifted yourself more from the water while turning to face Jimin, you saw his eyes grow wide a little but he quickly recovered and moved towards you in a swift second. Once again, he wrapped his arm around your waist under the water and instantly pulled you towards him. Your breath hitched and eyes widened. Your cheeks were slowly burning while shades of red were reaching them even though you were in water. His eyes were hooded and he was looking at you differently than usual. You didn't even realize that your hands were on his hard chest till he moved forward while pushing you in the water, making you move backwards.

"W-what are you doing?" You almost stuttered feeling a bit flustered.

Instead of replying, he lifted the corner of his lip, flashing you a smirk that you didn't understand. What's this sudden mood change? Why is it getting hot in here? You wondered while loosing yourself in deep pools of his eyes.

"You shouldn't tempt men around you Y/n. I don't like it when others see things that doesn't belong to them." His voice came out low and raspy. Fuck that sounded hot. You gulped as your breathing increased a little due to the tension you were feeling. It was as if only you and him were there with loudly beating hearts in that moment.

"W-what do you mean?" You ask a bit confused after taking a good second to form the words what he said. His eyes glistened and smile broadened. A gasp escaped your lips when you felt your back hitting the pool wall. It took you another second to realize that Jimin just had you cornered to the edge.

"It means that.. you should be careful of what you are wearing Y/n." Jimin's hand leaves your waist and reached down to the hem of his T-shirt. Then next second your stomach somersaults and heart skipped thousands of beats as he pulled out from his drench T-shirt, exposing his toned and chiseled chest and arms. You were too shocked to even blink, but the minute he covered the front part of your body with his shirt, you understood what he meant all this time. After all these days, when you finally decided to listen to Vinny and wear one of those sexy lace bras she got you for your birthday underneath the light material shirt, you ended up exposing it now too well as the material clung to your body. Seeing Jimin's caring and intimidating gesture, You wanted nothing more but to melt in that second as weird feelings crept your heart.

"Much better now." Jimin's low voice sent shivers down your spine.

You could feel your heartbeat pacing differently inside your chest. You had never been anywhere close to him before. Not this close. maybe that bike ride but this is different. Specially when he reached out and moved away the wet strands of hair from your face. His fingers grazed your skin and in that moment you felt like it left a hot trail behind. It was a weird sensation and you secretly liked it. His eyes bore into yours more as his naked chest was almost pressing against you. Your voice had somehow become hidden somewhere inside your chest. Your lungs were not even working and your chest felt so constricted you had to suck a deep breath. Still, no words could come out. Not only that you could not speak, but you had also lost your ability to think straight. But you had to say something.

"Thanks." You did your best not to stutter as you were trying to calm yourself down.

"Lets get you out of the water." He says with his heart fluttering sexy smile still on and you just nodded your head, swallowing the lump in your throat. Gosh! That smile.

Jimin moved back finally creating space between you and him. The surrounding which you forgot came into the view. Realizing that there were more people around, your cheeks and ears turned red. You were scared to look up thinking that they might be staring at you, but when you heard noises of talking and giggling, taking the courage you looked up. You let out a deep relieved breath when you noticed everyone was lost in their own worlds. Hoseok had joined in to the pool with the two girls who were around them from earlier. You looked at Vinny and she was now hanging on her boyfriend's back as he passed a ball back and forth between Taehyung and Hoseok.

Climbing out of pool before you, Jimin walked towards the lounge chair to grab a towel which were already prepared and walked back to you. He lend his hand helping you up and once you were out of the pool, he instantly wrapped the towel around you. You blinked hard and avoided looking at his completely half naked body which was right in your face. You had too much heart fluttering moments for one day and you didn't need more.

"All good?" He asks and from underneath the towel you removed his shirt from you to handover it back to him.

"Not really. I need to pick Jae in thirty minutes." You say a bit worried, looking around wondering ways to dry yourself up.

"Want me to go pick him up for you?" 

"How? You are drenched as well." You chuckled softly and grabbed another towel for Jimin. "Here, dry yourself up too." Jimin notices  your wet hair dripping with water as he took the towel from you. He knows that you easily gets cold so instead of using it on himself,  he put it around your head to pat your hair dry for you. You didn't protest or shy away, you smiled looking at him with blushing cheeks.

"I can burrow Kook's clothes." He says looking down at you with a similar smile, eyes loving and deep. For a moment you enjoyed everything that was happening unexpectedly and that hit you like a light bulb.

"Oh.. I can burrow Vee's. I bet she will have some spares here." You lightly jumped and you thought you heard a scoff. You turned your head to the side and noticed another girl glaring at you. She looked really pretty and really pissed for some reason. She looked a little familiar but you didn't have time to ponder on it.  Yoongi was sitting right next to her with a drink on his hand. You were least bothered by them as right now all you wanted was to get changed and go pick up your son. 

"Sounds good. Go get out of these wet clothes fast as you can. I don't want you getting sick." Jimin kind of orders and you felt another flutter on the inside. He is so caring, you thought as you turn towards your friend , you called her out and explained that you needed to change urgently. As expected she had some spares here and got out of the pool to take you inside the house.

"I'll get changed too. We can go together." Jimin says stopping you for a brief second before you go in.

"Sure. I'll come down once I'm done." You smile at him and he gives a nod showing he was happy that you allowed him to tag along.

"Come on now. I need to get back to my man. So hurry up and flirt later." Vinny tugged on your arm and you rolled your eyes at her. As you were about to go inside, that girl from earlier knock you over and storm passed you towards the front door while scoffing out loudly.

"What's her problem?" Vinny frowned having a grib on you, preventing you from stumbling back.

"I don't know. Who is she?" You ask getting a little bit curious as well to where you have seen her before.

"That's that annoying fake ass shit I complain about." Vinny roll her eyes showing her dislike towards the girl who just left.

"You mean Kiya girl? One of Kook's college friends." It suddenly hit you where you saw her. It's the same girl who hugged Jimin near the store, He did mention about her but it didn't ring a bell to who she was exactly till now. Vinny did do a lot of bitching whenever they crossed paths. 

"Yup. That's her alright. Met her only thrice before and never liked her."

"You hardly like anyone when it comes to females." You pointed out.

"What? That's so not true. I talk and I'm nice to people.. unlike you." She fired back.

"Yes you do talk and be nice.. but you don't like them at one go. Me on the other hand I just don't go to mingle if I get a bad vibe." You corrected her.

"Whatever. Now tell me everything in details. I was watching. And I have to ask.. Are you ok? I thought you would pass out for the stunt that boy pulled." Vinny asked giddly. Of course she was watching! She is like a hawk sometimes.

"Trust me. Even I don't know how I  stayed put." You say to her honestly but Vinny wasn't satisfied with a simple answer like that. She pestered you all the way up till you gave in and share almost everything he did, said and even to what you felt as you both giggled and jokedaround just like any other typical best friends.
