I need my meds, I can't take this pain. I didn't think it was going to be so bad that I could feel Leo literally tearing me apart from his pain. I feel like I'm in Hell with how hot I feel and with how agonizing this pain is, all over my body. I can't see straight with the tears pouring out of my eyes and Jameson is helping as best he can to get me home. I just want to die. It hurts so bad. I don't really understand why Gaelen rejected me, I didn't do a single thing to him. I hadn't even really had the chance to talk to him a whole lot, only a few times and it wasn't very long conversations so what the hell did I do to get rejected?

"Almost there Ryker, hold on for just a little bit more." Jameson said as his hold on me hadn't let up since I'm practically using his body even more than my own. It feels like I'm not even walking, let alone standing up. I looked down at him and he was focused on keeping me up and I tried to smile at the image of his smaller self helping my bigger one but I couldn't, it hurt too much to even blink.

He manages to get me to the house and he opens the door, startling daddy with the bang it caused and he ran over to us and helped Jameson take me to my bedroom.

"What on earth happened?" Daddy asked when I was finally able to feel myself relax even a fraction.

"Gaelen rejected Ryker." Jameson's voice sounded like he was fighting back his tears and daddy, well daddy looked like he was about to go kill something.

"Jamie, I'm going to need a few moments alone with Ryker. You can go down to the living room and watch TV, have a snack, anything but I need time with him. Thank you so much for helping him, I truly appreciate it." Daddy said gently to Jameson and he sniffled, looked at me before trying to smile for my benefit and left my room, softly shutting the door behind him.

"It hurts all over daddy, I can't breathe and my insides are burning." I croaked out and he sighed softly and sat on my bed. He took my hand in his and just held it for a few minutes before he started to cry.

3rd person POV, sorry to do it like this but I can't very well say how Brent is feeling in Rykers POV

Brent knew how his cub felt, it was the same pain he felt for the longest time, even after Altan and him broke their bond, he still felt a part was missing even after all the years he spent with his wonderful wife, far away from Altan and he was truly happy with her. They had a wonderful life together so he had no regrets in leaving his mate behind all those years ago. He only wished all of Rykers life that he wouldn't be in the pain he is in now.

"Let's get you in the shower, you're bleeding through your pad son." Brent noticed red on Rykers pants and helped his son to the shower and helped undress him before turning the water on. He looked at his baby and saw the sweet child he was when he was younger and held in his sob of the thought of his son in pain.

"I'll be right outside on your bed waiting. When you get done, shift so Leo can help with your cramping and also so he can spend time with me. I know it's hard on the both of you, you both are my sons and I'm here for you, both of you. I love you two so much." Brent kissed Rykers forehead and left the bathroom.

Ryker got in the shower and just let the water run over his body and he couldn't get the look his daddy had in his eyes out of his mind. He knew Brent had gone through a rejection with Altan and he knew all of his daddy's past and so he knew Brent would be able to help him the most. He did after all have the best daddy in the whole universe.

Brent sat on Rykers bed and let the tears fall silently as he thought of his late wife. She would know what to do to help Ryker, to help him help Ryker but she was gone, way too soon. He had wished upon many fallen stars late at night sitting outside alone for her to be brought back but he knew it wouldn't be possible, it was his punishment for the miserable things he had done so he figured he was meant to be alone for the rest of his life. His happiness seems to vanish into thin air after he had a taste of it.

Riley was ripped from his life within the blink of an eye, Altan even though it was his choice which no one could blame him for choosing it after how he was treated and now Kensi. He didn't think he deserved to be happy and to be loved by someone who aren't his children.

He loves his children with every fiber of his being but Zane and Ryker can't fill the void in his heart no matter how much he loves them, that void is for a different love for someone who would never fill it and he has faced that fact ever since Kensi died. He was ok with it most of the time but he does get lonely and wants to have someone to share his life with, the ups and downs, the happy times, the hard times, just to have someone to love without losing them.

"Daddy, are you alright?" He heard Ryker ask and looked at his son and smiled slightly and nodded.

"You're crying." Ryker noted and Brent let out a shaky sigh and wiped his eyes and face, surprised to find it so wet.

"I was just thinking that's all." Ryker had a feeling to ask what had him so upset but with how his daddy was at the moment, he waited for the time being.

Ryker knew he wouldn't get anything out of Brent so he shifted into Leo and Brent got on the floor and Leo laid his big body down and laid his head in Brent's lap. Brent put his head on top of Leo's and ran his fingers through the soft fur of his tiger cub and held him, to comfort him in his time of need. He had to focus on his sons and put his pain aside, like he always has and always will when it comes to his kids.

"It will be ok, it may not seem like it at the moment but it will be. You are going to get through this, one day at a time and you will be so much stronger in the end. I don't want you to hurt anymore than you already are so I don't want that boy anywhere near you. If I see him I'll kill him. It's not an empty threat either, with how much he's hurt you since he moved here and now this, he just better stay away." Ryker and Leo knew he was serious in the threat and knew nothing could change his mind.

Brent sat there with Leo's head buried in his belly and softly purring at the affection his daddy was giving them but he also wanted his papa. He missed Amar so much it broke his heart knowing his human won't talk to him. He's the only thing that is in Leo's way of bonding with Amar and he knows how his human feels about Altan but Amar isn't Altan and Leo needs Amar. Their bond is weak and there isn't anyone to blame except Altan and his ex mate's for all they had done and Leo even feels bitter and hatred for Altan. If it wasn't for him being a coward, all four of them would have better relationships and bonds but alas, that's not how life goes and they just have to learn to live with the hands they are dealt.

"Excuse me Mr. Walker, there's some men here to see you and Ryker." The voice of Jameson made Brent look up and he noticed Leo was sleeping so he gently lifted his head, kissed his soft forehead and laid his head down softly before standing up, grabbing a throw blanket over them even though he's a tiger, it's more of Brent's way of showing comfort even when he's not in the room, and going to the door. He looked back at Leo and thanked God he was still sleeping before opening the door and softly closing it behind him.

"Thank you Jameson. He's sleeping right now so you can either stay or go home and come back later. I don't mind if you stay though." Brent smiled and Jameson nodded.

"If I see Gaelen I'm afraid I'll beat his ass so maybe it's a good idea I don't go home right now." Brent noticed the harsh tone and was happy to know Ryker had someone who cared for his son and patted Jamesons shoulder and walked down the stairs to see Caleb, Liam, Sebastian, Ethan, Kody, Mikael, and Garrett in his living room.

"Well this is a surprise." He said and they all hugged before sitting down.

"What brings you all here?" Brent asked them after he got comfortable in his chair next to the fireplace.

"Altan called and said the twins mentioned something going on with Ryker and his mate. From the way the house smells and how Raja feels, I'm assuming he was rejected?" Caleb asked, concerned for his grandson lacing his words and Brent scoffed at the thought.

"You needn't do that Caleb. Y'all never showed you cared about MY son his whole life but the minute Altan calls, you pop up. Where were you when he needed someone when he was being tortured at the hands of your pack members? Where were you when he would come home and cry for days in his room thinking he was hated? Where were you when he was being treated worse than an animal by your son's mates?!" Brent was fired up, he could feel his anger building up and it's only a matter of minutes before it comes to a raging boil before he explodes.

"Calm down Brent, we don't mean any disrespect. We are concerned for Ryker and are here to offer any help you or him may need." Liam the ever calm one said and tried to hold Brent's hand but he snatched it back and stood up.

"No you all can leave my home, now. If Ryker decides he wants you here, I will let you know but for now, go home and leave us be."

"We can't do that. We want to take Ryker away for a while so he can heal." Sebastian said and that was it for Brent.

"I swear to God and Satan if you dare even think about taking MY son, I will wage war with you. You may have powers and magic but that didn't do shit the last time and I know more about it now to end all of you so try me." Brent didn't want to make that kind of threat but he would kill anyone no matter who it was if it meant keeping his kids safe.

The men could tell he was very serious and were a little afraid of what Brent had learned all those years away and didn't want to take a chance to find out.

"Now leave." Brent ordered and the living room was empty and he sighed sitting back down on his chair. Jameson was quietly sitting on the loveseat the whole time just watching the interaction and was completely speechless, not at what Brent said, but at the other men who had the balls to say what they did.

"That's the asshole's family?" Jameson asked after a few minutes and Brent chuckled.

"Yup that's them. I'm sorry you had to see that son, I never wanted to show that side of myself again but when they said they wanted to take Ryker, I didn't think about my actions, only him." Brent ran his hand through his hair and sighed.

"It's ok, it's nice to see a parent care for their child like that. Mine could care less about what happens to me it seems." Jameson said sadly and Brent got off his chair and sat beside him and hugged him. Jameson melted into the warm embrace and let himself feel the comfort of a father's love.

"I'll always be here for you also, no matter what. Come on, let's go check on Ryker." They got off the loveseat and went upstairs to see how Ryker was.

Brent opened the door and smiled, looking at his tiger cub sleeping soundly on the floor with the blanket on his body.

"We will get through this sweetheart, I promise." Brent thought to himself as he and Jameson watched Leo sleep for a few minutes before leaving him in peace for a while.
