It was my and Carter's monthsary today. My boyfriend, Carter Knox,  is the school's star quarterback. I just bought him a vintage T-shirt signed by Lionel Messi  as a gift. I was on my way to his house to surprise him. I pulled up in his driveway and tip toed inside his house. I was hearing moans and grunts from his room. I walked in only to find him cheating on me with Ridgeville's very own queenbee, Sarah Clark.

 He said ," Babe, this is not what it looks like...She pushed herself on me!!" He got slapped by Sarah." Really? It didn't seem like that when you dated me behind her back because she's a prude",she said."Really,Carter!?!?! It's no use talking to a brainless oaf like you! You know what? Good riddance! You two really belong together! And to think that I actually thought that this was gonna work and buying you this " as I showed him my gift, his eyes widened "  was a complete waste , so i better give it to someone who deserves it " as I took  it back and threw the nearest object at him , which happened to be his stupid football, and slammed the door on my way out ,as I heard a satisfied crack as his nose broke.

I fired up my Dodge Challenger and rode it out of there like a bat out of hell.Tears streaming down my face, I called the only person who voice I needed to hear now, Nate."Hey, Nate.." , I answered. " Who do I have to kill?Who made my clumsy princess cry???Wait, I'm coming over to your home with lots of ice cream and junk...you are telling me everything once i come over there! Alright?Hang on , Enna..", he replied and cut the call. 

The moment I stepped inside my home, I was blubbering mess.I dragged myself to my room and changed into my pjs. The roar of his Bugatti Veyron  snapped me out of my pity party.

As soon as I heard the door bell ring, I opened the door and hugged him tight. He stroked my hair and lead me to the living room and placed me on the couch.He put all the junk food, candies, and chocolates and tissue boxes in front of me. He turned me around so that I faced him. Then ,he asked, " Tell me everything,love". I told him what had happened and to say that he was furious would be an understatement. He took my phone suddenly. "Hey! " ,I exclaimed. He held up a finger and shut my phone by tossing it on the opposite end of the couch. "I blocked him on Twitter,Facebook and Instagram for you. Now , if he ever troubles you, I want you to tell me immediately, understood, doll?",he said. I simply nodded my head and snuggled up to him. Without hesitation, he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer.

If you wondered where my parents were, my so-called father cheated on my mom, so my mom being the reasonable woman she is, kicked his lying ass out to the streets. My mom doesn't have any problem with Nate staying over because she trusts him and loves her like her own son. She works as a pediatrician in Cross Hospital which means late night shifts. The reason she's not here when I'm a sobbing mess.

So naturally, Nate stayed over and comforted me. We pigged out on all the stuff he brought over and cuddled me to sleep.

Next day, I felt someone stroking my hair. "Wake up, doll",Nate said." Hmmm..'kay..let me sleep for five more minutes..",I asked.
"Nope. Get up, we gotta go to school. You have about half an hour to get ready.", he said and lifted me up and pushed in my bathroom.

Seeing the freakin' time, I finished all my business in record time. I wore a brown hoodie and a dark blue jeggings.
I used some concealer to hide my puffy eyes and applied some lip balm andwent down to have breakfast.
My mom was down making breakfast for me and Nate.She took one look at me and asked ,"What's his address?". I didn't answer but Nate did,"Charlotte, don't worry. I'll make sure he pays for hurting my sweet Enna".

We left for school after eating breakfast. As soon as we entered in, all eyes were on me. As expected, gossip here travels freakin' faster than lightning. D-Bag here was glaring at me. I let out a satisfied smirk after I took a good look at my handiwork. Thanks to me, his nose was broken. Looking at it, Nate smiled proudly at me .

For a second, I saw an unknown emotion flicker in his eyes. Sarah walked upto me and started taunting me as she said," Aww...were you such a prude that Carter decided to turn to me ? I mean, it's not his fault when he chose this", as she gestured towards herself ,"over that", as she gestured towards me. " It's nice to know that he chose someone with the same amount of dignity as him...Maybe he realized that I deserved someone of better standards than him. I'm not offended...Afterall my mom told me to give my used toys to someone who didn't have it.", I said as I walked away from her with my head held high as everyone watched me, the school nerd who hangs out with the school player and golden boy,put the school's queen bee in her place.

I had English AP for my first class. I went and sat in the last row and waited for my girl bestie to show up. As I played with my pencil,the seats started to fill in with students but still no sign of that idiot. Mr.Carson entered the class.Just as the bell rang, there came my idiot friend , Taylor Quinn- Carson. " Ms.Quinn-Carson, first day as sophomore and your late as usual. Go and sit in your seat before I give you a detention slip.", Mr.Carson said. You see , Mr.Carson has known us since the beginning of kindergarten which meant he wouldn't hesistate to send us to detention if we irritated him. He's also my godfather and my mom's big brother and Taylor's dad. It doesn't bother anyone because they all know he's never partial. Taylor came and sat next to me and she started saying how much she missed me. That's because she went to BoraBora for summer vacation. Mr.Carson gave us a small introduction to what we were gonna learn this year and let us do whatever we wanted for the rest of the class. I told Taylor about what had happened that day and this morning in the hallway and she was fuming. No joke, seeing her reaction, her dad looked worried.

 The bell rang and we ran out of the class and stood near our lockers 123 and 124. She put all the books inside and took what was needed next class,   AP Chemistry, and slammed the locker as she ranted about castrating him and setting his favourite car on fire. For a second, I was worried that she went insane but then that's how she was. She loved me like a sister and would kill anyone who would hurt me.

We bumped into Xavier Cartwright, Nate's best friend and somehow Taylor's sworn enemy since middle school. It's hard to believe that those two used to be inseparable during kindergarten. I wonder what happened between them even now. Then again I should have payed attention. Everyone do say that I'm oblivious beyond belief. Meh, potato potahto.

Turns out I have Nate, Xavier and Taylor to give me company in this horrid class. Let me tell you one thing,if there's anything I hate in this world , it's chemistry. From the beginning , me and chemistry have hated each other. And to top it off , our chemistry teacher for our sophomore years was Mrs.Fray. She is the reincarnation of Satan. She lives to torture me and Taylor. She's hated us from middle school just because we corrected her everytime she made a mistake. She was practically asking for it.

"Well , Ms.Pierce and company , you all reached my class in record time. What might be the occasion?" ,she asked. "Oh, its nothing Mrs.Fray..we just felt like it today...but don't expect this everyday..." ,Xavier said in a sing song voice. We walked in and sat in the last row. I took out my book and pencil and started doodling on the first page as I hummed to the tune of Hakuna Matata...  Hakuna matata...it means no worries la da dee for the rest of your days la dee da ... Suddenly a crumpled paper ball hit the back of my head. I turned around to see who dared to disturb my doodle and hum session and it was none other than the horrifying, the terrorising,... ,Nate Knight. I glared at him and opened the note... U luk cute when ur angry , my sweet princess ;):*, it said. I wrote back, Even like this, and tossed it back to him amd scrunched my face in disgusting angles. He laughed out loud...and got detention from Mrs.Fray.. Hehe.. I am so savage and slick.

Later at lunch, I sat down at our table and opened my lunchbox to see what mommy dearest had packed for me... I squealed in delight when I saw my favourite chicken fried rice and schezwan chicken . Nate, Xav and Tay came and sat down at the table. I was gonna eat it all by myself but they gave a look which practically translated to we will kill you if you don't share your food with us. So grudgingly, I had to share my precious , beloved food.

After sharing with them,  I almost gagged at the stench of rich girl perfume. Sarah walked towards our table, more specifically the boys at our table. She went towards Nate and was about to start talking when I started to search my bag furiously. Nate asked what I was searching for. "I'm searching for my rich girl repellent and drama repellent", I said. Tay immediately caught onto my idea and said," You poor child, you must've forgotten it. Here, use mine.", as she handed me her imaginary repellent to me. I sprayed my imaginary repellent at her and said,"Begone you foul,ugly creature". She was gonna say something but Nate cut her off by saying," You're not welcome here , Sarah. So please sod off". She harumphed and sashayed herself away from us as she glared at me. We all burst out laughing as soon as she was out of sight. I noticed that dear ol'Xavier was staring at Tay while she was laughing. OMG!!!!XAVIER HAD A CRUSH ON MY BESTIE!!! Hehe...now I get to play Cupid for my bestie. What I didn't know was that Cupid had already struck an arrow in my apparently sad and non existent love life.
