"Mommy!!!" I saw Archer running towards me with tears running down his face. His face was red from all the crying. 

"Luc... He.." I immediately picked him up, hugging him. "Everything will be fine Arch, I promise. Mommy won't let anything happen to Lucca. I promise." I said as I patted his back, running my hand over his hair as he tried to stop his sobs. 

I saw Jane coming along with the doctor and the nurse. She spotted me and pointed in my direction. 

"Doctor, how is he now?" I said, "Are you the mother?" I nodded. 

"Your son had RDS (Respiratory distress syndrome) when he was born ?" I nodded my head.  Jane took Archer from my hands as she tried to calm him down. 

 "Is he a premature baby?" "Yes doctor, he was diagnosed with RDS after he was born. He had undergone CPAP treatment. But the doctor said that he had recovered from it."

" I did a CET scan of his chest and I see no symptoms of RDS,  some alveoli in his lungs did not get enough oxygen on time, that's why he was having problems in breathing, but I have now given him the surfactant injection, so his vitals are stable now. His lungs have not fully developed, so you have to provide him with proper nutrition. He is sleeping, for now, his body needs rest, unfortunately, I can not allow you to visit him now, I will have a check-up tomorrow morning if his vitals are stable, I will keep him under observation for two more days, and he will be good to go. Take care of his health. Did his twin have RDS? " 

"No doctor only Lucca was diagnosed with it," He nodded his head and said "Usually only of the twins has RDS," He said nodding and then chuckled "he created quite a scene when we took his brother away from him," He said looking at Arch but Archer looked down in guilt.  "I am so sorry Doctor and thank you so much" He smiled at me as he left. 

"Mommy whaw happened to Luc?" He said trying his best to prevent the tears from falling. 

"Luc just had some small problem Arch, he will be fine," I said as I placed my palm on his head soothing his hair. 

"Why don't you go home with Jane, I will and I will join you guys later?" He immediately shocked his head from side to side. "Archer, you have to sleep baby, do you think Luc will be happy to see you in this state?" He looked down at the floor for a second but then he looked at me with an angry pout. "I wanw Luc wiwh me," He squealed, startling me and Jane. Archer was a calm kid and he never raised his voice, Lucca on the other hand was quite mischievous. The tears which he was trying to control, finally started to flow down. 

I picked him up and rubbed his back trying to calm him down. He had finally stopped crying and fell fast asleep. 

Jane took Archer from my arms as I paid the bills and Took a final look at Lucca from outside. He was given an oxygen mask. A tear fell from my eyes as I looked at him.

Two and a half years ago

"WE NEED ANOTHER PUSH MISS CLINTON," The doctors said. "I am trying !!!" She screamed as she felt the most excruciating pain. "The baby is almost out!!" Aubrey tried her last push with all her might. "We have another baby Miss Clinton!!" "Another baby??" She shouted in frustration and tired expression.

Aubrey woke up and immediately searched for her babies. She was connected to many wires and did not know what to do. She called the nurse and asked her several questions.

"Miss Clinton you were given more medications to make sure that your body is alright, you have been sleeping for the past 20 hours. I will call the doctor to check on you."

"They are kept in the premature babies ward, I think it would be better if the doctor would explain it to you," She said with a bit sad tone alerting Aubrey. She rushed out of the room leaving an anxious and confused Aubrey.

"What are you going to name them Aubrey?" "Archer and Luciano,"

I and Jane left the hospital with Archer as I drove back home. I made dinner for us and woke up Archer to have dinner. He refused to eat for long but finally gave in when I told him that I was not going to feed him veggies. 

After having dinner, he quickly fell asleep as I was washing the dishes. I picked him up and made my way towards his bedroom. I changed into my night suit and changed Archer's clothes too as I snuggled him close to my chest and fell into a deep slumber.

I went to the hospital early in the morning. As I walked towards the ward, I heard some noises. 

"I WANW MOMMY," He cried and I rushed inside the room. " I am here Luc, "I said as I smiled trying not to show him my teary eyes. I sniffed and gulped down my tears as I went towards him. 

"MOUMMY!" He yelled with excitement but coughed vigorously. "Please do not scream kid, "The nurse said with an irritated voice. He gave her a nasty before turning towards me. 

"Home mooummy," He said as he pouted and tightly closed his eyes when the nurse took his blood sample.

"We will go home in two days Luc, I promise." I said "I wanna now," "We can not go now baby, If we go now you would have to come back some other day and wait here for two weeks is that okay with you?"

He shook his head side to side vigorously but pouted. "So you do not want to see Arch? " "I WANNA," He said with a huge grin. I texted Jane and asked her to bring Archer with her during the visiting hours. 

"LUCC!!!" Archer said loudly as he ran towards him, however, because of his height he couldn't climb the bed. I picked him up and made him sit beside his brother. He immediately hugged Lucca and Lucca hugged him back. I melted in aw. I am so glad that they both have a good bond. 

I smiled as they both continued to talk to each other normally as if nothing happened. I smiled as I walked outside the room as I had received a phone call from Hailee. 

I updated her about everything and warned her strictly not to tell anyone that I am in Istanbul and told her to update my schedules and meetings. She was acting a little bit strange as we spoke but I brushed it off thinking that it might be because I left abruptly. 

After talking to her I saw 15 missed calls from Adrain the day after I arrived here.  I called Adrian but he didn't pick up the phone immediately as he usually does. After almost ten rings when I was going to cut the call he finally picked up him.

"Why did-" 

"You knew,  didn't you?" My heart skipped a beat. "Knew what?" I said praying that he had not found out about Lily now. 

"That I... That I had a daughter," 

"Adrian I was-" "For how long Aubrey?" I thought about making up some lie but I knew he would be more hurt if I lied to him again. 

"When I asked you to look for an apartment for her," I whispered. 

"I can't believe you did this to me, Aubrey. You lied to me and you told me it's her cousin. Did you not think for even one second how I would have felt when you out of everyone hid it from me? I trusted you, Aubrey."

"But Adrain-" "How can you keep it from me? Who the hell do you think you are to keep something this important from me?" 

"I am so-" " Save it I don't want to hear anything, " He hung up the call. I tried to call him again but in vain. 

I never felt so helpless in my whole life. I and Adrain never fought, though we had many brother and sister fights, he never said anything that would hurt me so bad. 

I should have told him as soon as I found out. I did not even try to consider Adrian's feelings, he has always been there for me and I didn't tell him that he had a daughter. 

I had not told him about Archer and Lucca and when I will tell him in the future, he would be more hurt by the fact that I never told him and did this alone. 

I rushed towards the bathroom and I cried my heart out falling onto the ground. Xavier is furious at me for leaving so suddenly and he does not know the reason why I left is his fucking child is in a fucking hospital.

The only thing that was running through my mind was- 

How would Xavier react when he knows he has two kids?

After two days when Lucca was finally discharged from the hospital.

Archer did not leave my side even once and he did not sleep, well he did not at all during these two days. He would always make a fuss while leaving and even I was angry at the fact that I wasn't allowed to stay at the hospital at night, yet I had to control myself from lashing out at the management for the sake of Archer. 

It's been almost a week, and I have to return to New York. I did as much work as possible from here but I had to attend some important meetings in person.

"Mommy?" "Yes, Luc?" I said as I looked at him.  "Don't go, mommy, " He said as his eyes started to water for the first. It was Archer who always clung to my leg and tried his best to prevent me from going.

My heart clenched. "Few more months Luc, I promise, then we all will live together and mommy won't ever leave you again."

"With dadda?" My heart skipped a beat. Luc and Archer have never asked about their dad till now. "Yes with dadda, I promise," I said as I gave him a long kiss on his forehead. 

"Be a good boy for me and do not you ever scare your mommy like that okay?" I said as I hugged his tiny body tightly. He wrapped his small hands around my neck and kissed my cheek. I pulled away and smiled patting his hair softly, not wanting to leave them behind.  

"Children are very naive Aubrey, do not make promises which you can't keep, till will break their hearts," Jane whispered as I sat inside the car. 

I nodded, knowing that I can not separate them from their father for long.

After landing in New York, I headed straight to Adrian's house. I hastily parked my car and took striding steps towards the door and rang the doorbell continuously but no one answered. 

"ADRIAN OPEN THE DOOR. PLEASE"

No response. 

"ADRAIN FUCKING MARTINI OPEN THE DOOR BEFORE I BREAK IT!" I rang the doorbell constantly again when he finally opened the door. 

His hair was unkempt and there were dark circles under his eyes. I was expecting him to be enraged at me, but he didn't look angry, just tired. 

The first thing I did was hug him. His body was still and he didn't move at all.

"I am so sorry you had to find out about this like this Adrian," I said as I rubbed his back. I know he was holding a lot of tears back. 

He couldn't control it anymore, he gave out a loud sob as he cried into my neck harder.

"I am such a terrible person Aubrey, I missed her everything. Her first steps, her first words. And fuck Hailey had to go through that alone and that too in that condition. And what was I doing while she was carrying my fucking princess? Fucking some girl in some bar." He said as he cried harder.

" It's not your fault Adrain, Hailee is at equal fault too," I said. 

"It's my fucking fault Aubrey, imagine if she hadn't joined your company, she would be still living in that shitty place with my daughter. Lord knows what would have happened if I had not reached your office in time," 

I pulled away from him and asked "What happened? " 

"I was searching for you, I thought that you were in your office, drowning yourself in work, I asked her when she received a call. She started crying as she tried to take in whatever that person was saying. She said that her cousin had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts as she accidentally ate five cookies that had peanuts. 

I calmed her down and I told her that I would drive her there. While going there she was crying uncontrollably, I thought she loved her cousin a lot, that's why she was so worried. But when we reached the hospital she said that she was her biological mother. I asked the doctor to do a DNA test on Lily. I haven't told Hailee that I know that Lily is my daughter." 

"When are you planning to tell her that you?" "I think I will wait till she is comfortable enough to tell me. Till then I am going to chase her and make her trust me and give me another chance."

"Adrain?"

"Yes, Sunshine?"

"What was your reaction when you knew that you had a child?"

"Initially I was astonished and the priority at that time was to ensure that Lily is safe. He was pretty angry at Lily, I mean I missed two years of her life. Her first steps, her first word. She shouldn't have kept it from me, I mean I know that she didn't know where I was, but she didn't even take the effort to find me and tell me that I have a child."  It was visible from his tone that he was hurt. I didn't know when tears started to spill from my eyes. 

"But I am now happy, her adorable cuteness has made me forget all the things that Hailee did, I understand that she did what she had to, to protect Lily, but she should have not kept it from me after she found me." He said with such adoration that I let out a sob. "Wait why are you crying, Aubrey?"

"I have two children, Adrian."

OKAY PLEASE DON'T KILL ME. 

When I usually write I don't plan out the whole chap I just let the ideas flow. Sometimes I have them planned for the next chapter, and sometimes I don't that's why I take a lot of time to update. I am sorry if I keep you guys waiting for a long time. 

I honestly do not know when I will update the next chapter. I hope that you stick around.
