After spending a week with Archer and Lucca, I finally reached New York, at 6 am. I didn't waste my time going to Xavier's house. My white McLaren was already at the airport. Within 15 minutes, I reached the office.

I opened the door to see a huge box with a neatly wrapped ribbon on it, along with a note.

There was the official invite inside the box and two broaches which I presume were for the person and their's plus one. Shit, today is 1st July.

I told Hailee to clear my schedule for the next two days and reschedule them today.

After 18 hours of work, I was finally free. I sighed as I closed my laptop and made my way to New York Museum. I parked my car near Maddie's and went inside.

As I entered the Museum to see a huge red laid from the top of the pearl white stairs. The room was decorated with various kinds of vases, which complimented the theme of grey and black.

Few people were still hanging some decorations over the huge walls.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE DROP THE DRESSES OR ELSE I WILL SLIT YOUR THROATS!" I heard Maddie's venous voice and I titled my head to the direction of her voice, to see her screaming from the first floor to the people who were carrying those special twelve dresses which she made just for the Ball.

I chuckled. "Calm down will you," I shouted and she finally acknowledged my presence.

"Aubrey!!! Where the heck were you?-" "Don't damage your larynx, I am coming up to help you and I will answer all your questions," I said and Maddie glared as she huffed.

I climbed the stairs as I made my way towards the first floor. Maddie stood there with her arms folded against her chest as she gave me an angry glare.

"Where did you disappear like that for a week? We were so worried andAnd Xavier!! He was really pissed he came bargining in our house asking where you were ," " I had told the manager of the hotel and Adrian as well that I had a last minute meeting in Melbourne that's why I had to leave as soon as possible, I will tell you afterwards first tell me what all I can do to help," "Okay fine I am leaving the topic for now and I need a lot of help,"

After keeping all the dresses properly when went to see the arrangements to the dinning hall, when Leo came with two bags in his hands with a bright smile. 

"Bre!! My angry little vixen!!" Leo said as he leaned to kiss her but he just got a murderous look from Maddie.

"You were suppose to help me here." She snapped at him.

"Okay, first of all, I have brought dinner because I know that you both have skipped it, I have made it so you both have to eat, secondly of all Adrian is coming over to help thirdly there was some problem with the menu so I had to over that, that's why I am late and lastly Mads you are going to sleep and three of us will make sure that everything will be done," "But-" She was gonna protest but Leo pecked her lips stopping her from her protest.
"No buts Mads you are here from the last week we will make sure that everything is done,"

Adrain arrived and we spend the next 20 hours on the decoration and arrangements. Thanks to Maddie not hiring the planner, as ' they don't do shit properly ' we were running a few last-minute errands.

Finally everything was ready and we all decided to get some sleep before the event. I drove back to Xavier's house around 7:30 am.

I parked my car and entered the house only too met with Xavier dressed in his navy blue suit. He looked at me with a stern look in his face he was clearly not happy with me leaving him alone in Santorini just after having drunk sex.

"I want you in my office the day after tomorrow at 7 am sharp to discuss the Andino Brother's project," He said with a mild angry tone and left the house.

After getting my seven hours of sleep I woke up at 1. I showered and went downstairs to find Xavier nowhere near in sight. I decided to eat some fruits and drink some juice as I was too tired to go to a hotel and eat.

I ate my lunch and the make up stylist signed assigned by Maddie arrived.

After 4 hours of hair and make up I was ready with my little grey gown which Maddie had made. It was long gown with sheer bow strap and beautiful design in the front and plain from the bottom with a sheer layerIt was simple yet elegant.

I slid in my heels and made my way down stairs. Xavier was standing there with his back facing mine. He wore a classic black Suit yet he looked devilishly handsome.

The click of my heels made sure of my presence causing him to turn around. He wore a classic black Suit yet he looked devilishly handsome. He was shamelessly checking me out.

I stepped down the last step and he cleared his throat . "The  limo is here," He said looking at me as he took striding steps towards his car. A 'you like good'  would have been nice.

Finally after another awkward silent drive we finally reached. Paparazzi had blocked the whole way as they tried to take pictures of various designers, models and a few actors, only with whom Leo had worked with and those you actually like Maddie's cloths and weren't suck ups.

The car door opened by the wallet from Xavier side and the flash of the cameras become rapid. I was about open my door but Xavier beat me to it. He held out his hand for me, looking everywhere but at me. I smiled and placed my hand in his warm ones as I picked my dress with the other hand.

The limo immediately left once I got out and I was blinded by the flash. Xavier walked ahead with my hand in his.

"XAVIER AND AUBREY DEANGELIS, A PICTURE," "MR AND MRS DEANGELIS!!" "GIVE US YOUR BEST ANGLE!!" "A POSE"

We first stopped near the first step and Xavier wrapped his hand around my waist pulling me closer to him. His sudden moments made me startle as iI looked at him but he was busy staring at the paparazzi. As if he felt my gaze on him, he looked at me and leaned in for a kiss on my cheeks.
