"Andrea, are you there? I don't have time to waste," He said in an annoyed voice.

"I am not your fucking dog that you would order around," I said angrily. "You really have changed." He whispered but I heard it anyways. Well, after all, he is the reason I changed.

"I have business with the Andino Brothers if you know who they are." "Excuse me?!" "So you don't know who they are. They are-" "The greek millionaire twins who own a private island which they are now going to change into a huge resort. Even I do business, Mr DeAngelis. My point is why do you want me with you there?" I hissed.

"If you are forgetting then we got married yesterday for the world. The Andino brothers have given me and you the resort and they offered a stay for our honeymoon in Santorini for a week,"

"WHAT!" "I am pretty sure that I am clear with what I said. Be ready tomorrow at 7," He said and hung up.

I groaned as I slammed my phone on the table. Obviously, he knew that. Doesn't he have any other business?

I immediately called Hailee.

"Hailee? The whole project for the resort of Andino brothers is not with us?" I said as soon as she picked up.

"Uhm.... no... I mean yes..."I heard her yawn and I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 2 in the morning. "I apologise Hailee for calling at this hour, you can go back to sleep," I said as I hung up.

"It really kills you both to say 'I am sorry?" Maddie said as she walked in. "Both?" I said as I raised my eyebrow.

"You and your beloved husband," She said as she gave me a forced smile and title her head a little as I rolled my eyes. "He called me and said that we are going to Santorini tomorrow for a week," The moment I said Santorini Maddie's eye widened and then she let out a squeal.

"Madeline!" I said trying to calm her down. "You guys are already going on your honeymoon? To Santorini the place you always wanted to visit? He is so thoughtful." She said as she wiped her imaginary tears.

"You know even you should become an actor along with Leo," "Shut up! Wait did you say tomorrow?" "Yeah apparently the next project which I am working on is a joint project along with his company, and the Andino Brothers who gave us the project offered us a stay in their hotel for us," "Then what are you doing here? Go and get ready!!"

"Madeline Lewis, since my beloved husband told me that now, I have to go through the ppt and see all the designs so that I can show them the final idea, and I don't have to 'get ready' I just have to pack a few business outfits," I said stressing on the word business to give Maddie just glared at me.

"How about you do your work for two hours and I will do mine and then we will go to your house to pack your things?"

"Don't you have twelve dresses to design?" "I do but I love my best friend," I looked as I knew that it wasn't the only reason. "And I ran out of many materials that I need to buy from Paris, I can only design two dresses from the materials which I have," I chuckled.

"Okay fine deal, We will leave in two hours."

As soon as the clock strikes 4:15 Madeline stood in front of me. I didn't acknowledge her presence as I wasn't done. "Aubrey-" She yelled but I cut her off. "Okay okay, I am done," I said as I packed my things.

Maddie closed her boutique as I went and started my car, A white McLaren Spider 65OS.

"Seriously how many white cars do you have, especially Mclaren?" "Around six white cars and three out of them are McLaren and two are Aventador SVJ and Huracan, and one is a Ferrari " "And let me guess 100 in total cars?"

"No, I have only twenty-five cars in total, "I said looking at the empty road ahead of us as I drove at almost full speed. "Why in the world do you need twenty-five cars, Aubrey?" "Hey don't blame me, even your boyfriend has twelve cars and Adrian has ten cars." "Yeah, and you have double the number of their cars,"

"Well in my defence Xav has thirty cars," I mumbled under my breath. "Oh it's Xav now is it?" I rolled my eyes.

After five minutes when we left the city area Maddie asked, "Where are we going?" "Xavier's house," "Where is it?" "It is in a secluded area, it's far from the city, he sure loves his privacy," I said.

"Wow, it's beautiful," Maddie said as we entered his mansion. I parked the car at the entrance.

"You go ahead, my room is on the second floor, its the first on the right, I will park my car and come," I said. Maddie nodded as she went inside.

"All done," Maddie said as she closed the zip of my Louis Vuitton bag which she got me last Christmas. I changed into a simple white trench coat dress.

"Are you sure? You took only.." I glanced at my watch "...Two and a half hours" She usually takes five hours. I went through the designs and changed the ones which I didn't like and contacted some of the architects and the interior designer. They weren't happy with me calling them at 5 in the morning but they knew that if they wanted their job they should give me what I want regardless of the time.

"Yeah, I am done." She said as she smirked. "Why are you smirking? I think I just made a big mistake by telling you. I am going to check the bags just to be sure."

"NO!" Maddie yelled. "Madeline, did you do anything with my clothes? I swear to god if you didn't pack the business outfit, I will come here back to kill you," "Jesus, I did pack your business outfit and I packed extra two," "Okay then let me see them,"

"Aubrey, I spent two hours packing them in one bag, if you open the bag right now, I will have to pack it again," She told me sternly. So she basically stuffed all my clothes.

"By the way where is lover boy," "I don't know and I don't care," I said as I turned to take my laptop bag and a sling bag. I never leave the house without my sling bag.

"Ouch that hurt," I heard Xavier's deep voice. I rolled my eyes and then I turned to see him in his mint green suit over a white shirt whose three buttons were open. His hair was perfect as always and he wore sunglass. Who the heck wears sunglasses at home?

"Hi Mr DeAngelis," Maddie said and Xavier just playfully rolled his eyes, as a smile formed its way.

Wow, he actually smiled. I wasn't too shocked but it was the first time I saw Xavier smiling like a proper smile and not a smirk.

Xavier and Maddie very close, because she is my best friend and she is dating his best friend. I actually feel bad for breaking their friendship.

You shouldn't feel bad Aubrey, you aren't the one who messed thing up. He did.

"Absolutely not," "What do you mean?" "Change" "Go to hell Xavier, I can wear whatever the fuck I want, If you have a problem then deal with it," I said as I took my bag and went outside. Who does he think he is?

Your husband with whom you had sex last night.

I groaned as I remembered that. I am not going to do that again. I am glad that he didn't say anything about that.

Well considering that happened only two days ago and you had been avoiding him since then.

Anyways, I went downstairs and I heard footsteps behind me. I went towards the entrance and stepped outside the house where his white Bugatti was parked. I rolled my eyes.

"Aubrey." I heard Maddie say and I turned around.

"The ball is in one month, if you give me any excuses that you have meetings I will kill you," "Do I ever miss the ball, Maddie?" She made a thinking face and I rolled my eyes. " No, I haven't missed the ball."

"Oh, and Xavier even you have to come," I glared at her. "There is no need-" "I will be there, don't worry," He said cutting me off. Maddie gave me a smirk as she come towards me and gave me a hug.

"Happy Journey! Be safe." I nodded and she smirked. I glared hard at her when I understood what she really meant by that and she just smirked.

"How long is the flight?" I asked the flight attendant who was surprising a male. "Fifteen hours Ma'am," He said and smiled at me.

"Can you get me a blanket and a pillow?" I said as I smiled. Well I am sleep deprived and I love my sleep and instead of talking to Xavier for even a minute, I would rather sleep.

"Sure ma'am," He said as he went inside. I quickly glanced at Xavier to see him looking at me.

"What?" I asked as he was staring at me. "How do you even run a billionaire empire?" "Why would I tell my tactics to another businessman," I said and narrowed my eyes at him. "Well considering that I own half your company and that I have my own tactics and I don't need your tactics, and the fact that I am your husband whom you had-" "I don't want to tell you anything and I worked for the last twenty-two hours, so I am sleepy and I don't want to listen to your bullshit so I will sleep and don't worry my company is working just fine you don't need to know how I run my company," I ended my speech and saw the flight attendant was back with a white fluffy blanket and a white pillow.

"Thank you so much," I said. He nodded and smiled and left. I placed my pillow and covered myself with the blanket and drift off to sleep.
