This was it. This was the day when she was finally going to be Mrs DeAngelis, and she can't do anything about it. 

"Aubrey." Aubrey heard her dad Benjamin Clinton calling her name. She turned around saw her dad in a black tux. His eyes were filled with tears. His daughter had grown into a beautiful woman and she was now going to be someone's wife.

"You look beautiful." He said as he came and took her hands in his. It seemed like only a few days ago he was holding her tiny little hands.

" It seemed like just yesterday that I was holding your one-month year self. I was so thankful to God for giving me a daughter and that too like you. I was always so proud of you, I loved how determined you were, just like your mother. I love you, Aubrey. And I am proud of you, thank you for taking after my company. I knew that you could handle it well, after all, you are my daughter."He said as he chuckled.

"I couldn't be more proud of you. You will always be my pumpkin no matter how old you get, no matter who you marry, even if you have a child of your own day. I will always be there for you. As much as I hate to see that you are marrying someone else, I am glad that it is Xavier. I know he will keep you happy, he will cherish you and love you." He said as he kissed the knuckles of his daughter.

They heard the knock on the door, Maddie was standing there in her blushed pink sleeves strap dress, which she had designed at the last minute but was still flawless. Her hair was closely tied with some strands of it let loose. Her make up was natural and minimum with a light pink nude lipstick.

"I hope I haven't ruined the father-daughter moment." She said as she smiled at them

"Obviously not Maddie. Come on hug this old man you two." Ben said as he opened his arm open waiting for his daughters to hug him. Maddie and Leo's Mom and dad were no longer there. Maddie used to live with her Aunt till high school. Ben saw Maddie as his second daughter

"You Miss Lewis have a lot to explain later."He said in a fake angry tone and Aubrey smiled.

" You are not the only one who she forgot about Dad she hardly even visits me since she moved out and went to live with Leo," Aubrey said and Maddie scowled.

"This day is not about me. It's about you Aubrey. The makeup artist and the hairstylists are here. I will take this old man with me. Get ready fast. We will be back in an hour." She said as wrapped her hand around Ben's arm and went outside with him. The moment she left the room, three people came inside with their stuff and started glamming up the bride.

Meanwhile, Maddie and Adrian were having a conversation while looking at the decoration, making sure that everything is perfect.

"Adrain, we should tell Leo," Maddie said as she made sure that no one was listening to them. "Maddie I know you want to tell your boyfriend, there shouldn't be any secrets between you both, but if you tell him then one way or the other he would tell Xavier, and if he goes in front of Xavier drunk then your plan will be a total flop. I don't want to ruin it, I am planing it for a very long time, if anyone finds out, by anyone I mean f Xavier finds out then he WILL kill me. I was not going to tell you at the start but I need you because you are Aubrey's best friend."

"Even you are her best friend you idiot." "Yeah I know, Mads." He said trying to mimic Leo and Maddie glared at him to which he rolled his eyes. "But I am even Xavier's childhood best friend, she would think that I am doing it only for Xav and not her. So let's go with the flow. No one knows and let's keep it that way."

"But I feel like I am betraying Leo." "What happened to chicks  before dicks?" She rolled her eyes. "You are not betraying him, gosh why are you girls so dramatic? He will understand Mads if he doesn't then just tell him that you don't say anything to him when he goes around kissing those actresses." "What do you mean kissing around Martini? Leo doesn't kiss anyone, he has a stunt double for the kissing scene." "Damn he is whipped," Adrian muttered under his breath but Maddie heard him anyways and hit his arms.

Aubrey was staring at her reflection in the mirror. She was ready and the makeup stylist and the hairdressers had left. She was lost in her own thoughts. Will anything change after this so-called marriage or it would be just like those normal days where they both get up and separately go to their office and come home late and say nothing to each other?

After that night when Xavier was drunk and Aubrey was almost going to confront him about that night, why did he do that to her? But the next day he acted as if nothing happened and went back to his normal cold self. They didn't speak for two weeks, they were just staring at each other as if they were speaking through their eyes, lost in their own thought. They would just stare at each other till something interpreted them, just like that day when they met at the cafe.

Last Night they finally spoke to each other. Xavier was the one who approached her, but she wished he didn't.

"Tomorrow, you don't need to say any sorts of vows. This is not a real Marriage, It's just for the name's sake. " Her heart dropped when she heard that. She knew that this marriage was just for business. But was it wrong of her to think that they would have a normal marriage? What did she expect from Xavier? In a way, it was good for her as she had no idea what she was going to say.

Aubrey was pulled out of her thoughts by the knock on the door.

"Bre? Are you ready? Xavier is ready." She heard her mother's soft voice.

"Yes, Mom. Come in." She said as her mother Jennifer Clinton stared at her in awe.

"You look beautiful as always Aubrey." She said as she kissed her daughter's forehead. "No matter what you will always be my daughter, I am here for you. Xavier is a good guy. I am sure that he will take good care of my precious gem." She said as a drop of tear slipped from her eyes.

"Mom don't cry. You will make me cry too and then Maddie will kill me at my own wedding." Jennifer's lips twisted into a small smile as wiped her tear with her fingers.

"Come let's go." She said as she wrapped her arms around Aubrey's hand. Outside the room, her father was there who was in tears. He saw his daughter and wiped away his tears.

"Dad!" She said as she hugged him. "I am still going to be here!! It's not like I am dying!" Aubrey said to which she got a glare from her mother.

"Come on dad let's go," She said as she wrapped her arm around her father's hand.

"Xavier!! Man are you ready? You took more time to get ready than my girlfriend!!!" Leo said as he knocked loudly and harshly on Xavier's door.

Xavier took a last glance at his reflection and went and opened the door.

"Finally!! You are looking great now let's go." Leo said as he and Xavier made their way towards the hall.  

Not many people were invited to the wedding, only a few family members were there, rest all were Business associates, The important ones.  No one was present from Xavier's family. He hadn't invited his father. The only person he knew was Adrain's mother who was like his second mother.

Xavier went and stood on the stage as he waited for Aubrey.

Leo and Maddie first walked down the aisle as they were the bridesmaid and groom's man. They were looking gorgeous as always.

Aubrey along with her father was behind them. She held onto her father's hand tightly as she was nervous and she thought that she would trip on her gown.

Xavier's breathe was taken away the moment he saw his beautiful Andrea. Her beauty was beyond words. Although he had hated her for what she did to him, his heart, he couldn't deny the fact that she was drop-dead gorgeous.  The tiara that she had worn loved so beautiful on her, making her look like a real princess.

Aubrey felt his eyes on her and she blushed as she looked down as she continued taking her steps.

"I am trusting you with my only daughter, who means the world to me, DeAngelis. Take good care of her," Benjamin said as he finally let go of his daughter's hand.

"You won't be disappointed Dad," Xavier said with a smile. 

"Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the joining of Xavier DeAngelis and Aubrey Andrea Clinton in marriage. With love and commitment, they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife."

"Do you Xavier DeAngelis take Aubrey Andrea Clinton to be your wedded wife and promise to cherish her in love her, comfort her, honour and keep her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health and forsaking all others, be faithful only to her so long as you both shall live?"

"I do." He said as he looked into her ocean blue eyes.

"Do you Aubrey Andrea Clinton take Xavier DeAngelis to be your wedded husband and promise to cherish him in love comfort him, honour and keep him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health and forsaking all others, be faithful only to him so long as you both shall live?"

"I do," Aubrey said as she released the long breathe she had held the whole time.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you Husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

The priest said and Xavier didn't waste a single time to crash his lips to Aubrey's. It wasn't a sweet kiss, it was dominating, which said that now she was officially his and she can't do anything about it.

He finally pulled away and smirked at her as his stormy blue eyes pierced into her ocean ones. The room was filled with applause. Every person was happy for them and the paparazzi from afar were able to record everything. Soon the whole world would know about their grand wedding.

"Xavier!! My boy!! Now, you are officially tied to Aubrey, no there is no escaping from this." Aaron joked but little did he knew that now Aubrey was tied to him and there was no escape for her.

"If it means to be tied to her, I don't have any problem," There he was, the sweet Xavier she was with one time. The one who was purposely corny and said things that made Aubrey's heart flutter which made her think that he actually likes her. A blush made its way towards her checks as she looked down at the ground.

"Xavier DeAneglis!!!" Aubrey, Xavier and Aaron snapped their heads towards the shrill voice which belonged to a lady who looked like she was in her late forties. She wore an elegant grey dress as she made her way towards them.

"How dare you not tell me that you are going to get married to her!!"The lady said, in a broken American accent, it was clear through her accent that she is Italian. The way the lady said 'her' felt as f she had known Aubrey for a long time. The lady too looked oddly familiar.

"Maire leave my poor boy alone at least at his wedding," Aaron said jokingly but in return, he just got a glare from her. Aaron knows her and I don't? Aubrey thought.

The lady saw the confused look on Aubrey's face and said," I am so sorry Dear, we haven't officially met right? I am Maire Martini." She said as she pulled Aubrey into a hug.

That's why she looks so familiar!! She is Adrian's Aunt!! Aubrey thought as she almost facepalmed herself for not know that she was Adrian's aunt.

After Adrian's mother had died, it was Marie who looked after Adrian and even Xavier. 

"Adrian told me that you are marrying The Aubrey!!" "Talking about me ladies and Gentlemen?" Adrain said as he slung his arm around his aunt's shoulder to which she glared at him as he removed his arms.

"Do you guys mind if I steal the bride for a moment?" Adrain said as he purposely looked at Xavier. Aubrey gave him an 'are-you-crazy' look as she had told him not to say or do anything that would piss Xavier off.

He didn't give Xavier any chance to say anything as he pulled her away from those three.

"Why did you pull me away when your mother was there? It was very rude of you Adrain." "Will you see your husband looked like he is going to murder me right here and my beloved Madre doesn't know that I and Xav are not on speaking terms. So before he could say anything, I decided to steal you and use you as protection." "A Protection? Seriously? Tell me how long are you guys not going to talk Adrian? Do you know how bad I feel that I have gotten in the way of your friendship? And he is not-"

"He is coming here. Don't you dare ever feel that you have gotten in between our friendship? He will talk to me sooner or later. The only thing that matters is that at least you guys are together now." He said as he smirked.

She was about to speak when she heard a throat clearing behind me. She turned around to see none other than Xavier DeAngelis with a pissed face, he looked like he was ready to kill Adrian at any time now.

Before Xavier could pounce on Adrian, Aubrey placed her soft hands on Xavier's chest making him look at her. The moment his stormy blue eyes met her ocean blue eyes as if she was telling him through their glances not to do anything there at that time.

They both were on the dance floor in the centre, surrounded by a few couples.

Xavier snaked his arm around her waist which startled Aubrey a bit as she felt those familiar sparks. He looked at her ocean blue eyes firmly as he picked her delicate hand and placed it around his neck. She was too lost in his eyes to even know what he was doing. He held her left hand in his right as they danced to low music.

Aubrey wasn't able to meet his gaze, she looked at the floor as they moved in rhythm.

Xavier let go of her hand as he grabbed her chin, making her look at him.

Aubrey rested her head on his chest as she would no longer stare at his eyes without thinking about the sweet memories and the promises which he had made to her which were all broken.

Aubrey was so engrossed, she felt at peace when she rested her head on his warm chest. He missed him. A lot. She has craved his warmth for months. She knew that only he was the one who could have this effect on her, but yet she tried to push that fact away.

The crowd applauded at the wondering couple. Aubrey blushed as she hid her face in Xavier's chest again. Xavier chuckled which caused his body to vibrate a bit which Aubrey had always loved.

Maybe after all Xavier does really care. Maybe he is just pretending that he hates Aubrey, but why? Why does he hate her? She wasn't the one who cheated, he was the one who cheated on her. She has every right to be mad at him but here she was marrying him.

Today was the best day in her life so far after meeting Xavier two months ago. He wasn't the rude Xavier who would hurt her even though it wasn't her fault, but the caring Xavier who looked at her like she was the only girl on this planet, like he loved her. His sweet little gestures, his sweet words which made her heart flutter made her believe that maybe the Xavier she knew was still there inside

"Nice show. I am sure the paparazzi would have caught all of it. It would be enough for the world to believe that we are in love."

Aubrey felt her world crashing upon her all over again. This was all a show. He still hates her. No matter what, all of this was nothing but show.

He knew exactly what to say. She hoped that he wasn't like what he was for the past few months, but why was she hoping to see any change in him? She didn't let him see that the words which he said had broken her fragile heart.

After the dance, they talked to a few business associates who were eager to make business deals after all the first and the third-best and richest companies are now going to work together. They had cut the cake and the guests were slowly starting to go home.

Aubrey had a wonderful day, though she hated the fact that Xavier was being bipolar, she got the wedding that she had always dreamt about. The things that he said earlier during their dance, were still ringing in her head. Why was he doing this to her? Even after the dance even they greeted the business associates and her family, he was sweet and very kind and he was saying that all this was a show?

Xavier and Aubrey were now heading back home, as Maddie and Leo assured them that they will take care of everything. The car ride was silent as usual, the only difference now was that Aubrey was officially Mrs DeAngelis and she couldn't get that fact out of her head.

Xavier parked his car in front of his mansion. He waited at the front for Aubrey to get out of the car but she was confused why Xavier wasn't getting out and opening the door like he always did.

She looked at Xavier and saw him pissed. "What? Get out of the car? What are you waiting for?" He hissed.

Aubrey was beyond mad at him but she decided not to say anything as she got out of the car.

What crawled up his ass and died she wondered. She stayed behind waiting for him to come back.

Within a few minutes, he was back. Xavier saw her with the same pissed look. I didn't even fight with him today and he is already pissed. What's his problem. She thought.

"What are you waiting for? Get inside!" He yelled loud enough to hit Aubrey's patience point.

"Why are you even in a bad mood? I didn't even say anything to you!!! I had a wonderful day and here you are trying to ruin my happiness like you always do!!!"

"You had a wonderful day?" Xavier said as he scoffed. "This was the most awful day I ever had in my life and you know the worst part of today? I had to kiss those awful lips of yours. Gosh, what the hell did I even see you in!!" Aubrey tried hard not to shed her tears which were eagerly trying to escape out but she somehow held them back.

She picked up her long flowy dress as hastily walked inside. He can't break her again. She won't let him break her again. Her glass heels clicked harshly on the marble floor of his house. She made her way towards the stairs but she didn't feel the presence of her husband. The house wasn't filled with his intoxicating scent, the moment she turned around to see where he was, she heard the noise of a sports car, driving away.

Okay first of all sorry for being MIA for three weeks. I had my exams. But I hope that I was able to make up for that through this long-ass 4000 words chapter.

I have been writing this chapter for sooooooooo long, I am not even kidding. I wanted it to b perfect and not something that I wrote in a hurry. So it took me a while.

Second of all, I haven't physically attended or seen any Christian wedding but I have read more than 100s of Wattpad books which have a Christian wedding. I don't why I thought writing about a wedding was a good idea but here we are. I hope that whatever I wrote was okay.

I am so beyond excited for this book!! No, I am not going to abandon this book. I will update this book whenever I get time.
