'I hate getting flashbacks from the things I don't want to remember'

"Mamma who was the prwetty lady?" My three-year-old daughter asked me.

"She is my boss." "What is a boss mamma?" "You that I go out every day right." She nodded. "I go to work with that pretty lady."

"What is a dadda mamma?" I froze. Where did she learn that word from?

For the last three years, I made sure that I keep the word 'Father' or dadda away from her. I don't think that she needs a dad. She has me, I am enough for her. I never needed a father when I had one, he abused me.

And what's the use of telling her the name of her father when I myself didn't know anything about him until two months ago.

Three years nine months

I did it! I finally did it!! I finally ran away from my abusive father. I ran away and entered the club which I was working in. My best friend, with whom I was going to live with from now on told me to meet with her here to celebrate this day. This is going to be the first and the last day that I am going to drink.

"Bitch you are finally free!!!!!!" I heard my best friend, Riley's voice as she came and hugged me.

"Riles-" "Yeah I know this is the first and the last time that you are drinking, and we have a ride home don't worry. I called Alex." I grinned at her. "Ooo Alex huh?" "Shut the fuck up bitch and let's go and party!!!" She said as she dragged me towards the bar and ordered two drinks.

"This taste like shit." "That's vodka for you. Have another one and join me on the dance floor." She said as she took her third shot.

Hell no. I am not going to join her.

"Here another one for you ma'am." The bartender said as he smiled.

"Give me the same one as the lady Rick." I heard a husky voice that came from beside me. I didn't look at him at first. I drank the shot quickly and slammed the glass on the counter. Wait why is my head spinning?

"Give me another one!!"

"I guess you should stop beautiful." "You can't tell me what to do." I sassed back.

"Fiesty huh? Are you here alone?" "Nope, I am here with my boyfriend." "Then he just made a big mistake of leaving a beautiful lady like you all alone." No one has ever called beautiful that too twice. My father always used to say the exact opposite words.

"You can't lie." "I am sorry what?" "You clearly don't have a boyfriend." "I do!!" "You don't." I huffed. "Yes, I don't! What are you gonna do about it!! I never had a chance to meet someone as hot as you!" I can't believe I just said that.

I looked at him to see him smirking. Why does he look good even while doing that? Okay, I am officially very drunk.

I looked around to see my father. I froze in my spot. What the heck is he doing here??

The last thing I remembered that was my lips on that stranger and I was one that first kissed him.

The next day.

Why is this room so bright? I groaned. I opened my eyes to see a big blanket on my naked body. Wait why am I naked and why do I feel sore there.

The memories from the last night came rushing back to my mind. No. No. NO! I chanted in my mind and turned around to see the guy which I kissed and had that. I can't believe that I lost my virginity to a complete stranger.

He was thankfully wearing his boxers. I noticed that there was a big tattoo of a flower near the end of his abdomen, a lily? Weird.

I quickly got changed I had got everything but I didn't find my charm bracelet. I searched for my charm bracelet but I didn't find it anywhere. I saw that the man stirring in his sleep so I decided to leave it there.

At first, I was really scared as I was only 22 when I had Lils. I was terrified that I won't be a good mother. I worked my ass off in small cafes, working for 12-14 hours a day so that I can have my baby and give her anything that she wanted.

I don't regret having lily. I never thought her as a mistake, instead, she was the reason why I am so happy now. When I found out that I was pregnant I was afraid but then I didn't take it negatively, I looked at it as God had given me another chance to start a new life which didn't include me getting beating up every day, me crying and praying for mother all right though I knew that she wasn't going to come back.

I didn't know that the guy from that night was the famous model Adrian Martini. He obviously doesn't remember me or that night, I mean I don't blame him, after that night I completed changed my appearance, that night I didn't have dark brown hair or my contact lens which I have and wear now.

" It's nothing Lils. Tell me what do you want to eat today?" I said pushing away my thoughts.

"Adrain?" "Yes, sunshine?" "You had one night stands before right?" "Yeah, but after one girl left me, I stopped having one night stands."

"Do you remember that girl?" "Nope. I only remember that she had brown eyes." Wait Hailee has blue eye right?

What are the possibilities that Lily is Adrain's daughter?

I don't know maybe Hailee not being around Adrain, she runs away whenever he is around, Lily has the same eyes as Adrain and loves the same chocolate that Adrain loves? There are absolutely no possibilities Aubrey.

But wait, I still can't believe it, Adrain Martini, my best friend, my brother, has a freaking daughter and the worst part he doesn't know.

I messaged my investigate to find everything about Hailee Smith. Why didn't I have a background check on her?

"Did you ask her why she lived here?" Adrain snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Actually, I told her that I don't want her to live here with her..her niece."

"She lives with her niece?" "Yeah, I told her that..." Will he release that Hailee is that girl? How do I know that Hailee is that girl?

"You are going apartment hunting with her." "Me? Why me?" "Don't you find her hot?" " Yeah I mean I have no problem, but-" "Okay then good," I said cutting him off and gave me my goofy smile to which he glared at me. I have a very bad habit of cutting people off while they are speaking.

"I am going to Dubai tomorrow." "Okay, lunch from McD?" "Yes, please I am very hungry." He chuckled as we drove off.

After eating by the drive-through, we switched places and I dropped Adrain as he had some last-minute photo shoot.

After a few hours.

I looked at the clock to find that it was 12:02 a.m. Wow. Usually, Hailee would come knocking at my door to say that she is leaving and even I would leave after ten-fifteen minutes.

A small yawn escaped from my mouth. I have a flight at 4:30. I shut down my laptop and took everything and I was just about to leave when my eyes fell on my window.

I love nights. Especially the city skylines at night. One of the reasons why I love New York. I didn't release that I was staring that this beautiful view for fifteen minutes. It was Hailee telling me that the jet will be ready at 4:30 sharp. I usually fly overseas early in the morning, if the flight is of more than 15 hours so that I don't waste time and I even get to sleep on the way.

I left the building and drove off to his home. Luckily in the morning, I had kept an eye on the surroundings, so I knew the way back.

Within ten minutes I reached his abode. He seriously doesn't need this much security. I had to wait thrice before parking my car at his house.

The door wasn't locked, and the house was empty. Doesn't he have any maids? My stomach made noises reminding me that I didn't have my dinner.

I went to the kitchen and searched in the fridge for any leftovers. To my luck, there was a half-eaten lasagna. Works for me. I heated it in the microwave and started eating it.

Xavier had made it.

He is going to be pissed that I ate his food. Well lucky me I will be gone for a week and he won't remember me eating this. I haven't told him that I am going to Sydney I mean Dubai.

Wait.

Why should I tell him? He left me alone in LA one month ago. Then why should I tell him? And it's not like I am lying to him I am just not telling him.

Yeah, it's not the first time you are not telling him right Aubrey?

Yeah, that's what.

I finished the delicious lasagna and washed the dish. I went upstairs without making a sound and packed my bag. Within fifteen minutes I was done.

I had more two hours. I decided to take a quick nap before I go to Sydney. I smiled as I thought about how happy I am going to be when I go there.
