"Iraaaaaaaaaaa. Guess what I got you!" It's the third day after the incident and things have been surprisingly calm between the pair: they engage in small talk, few affectionate gestures, and that's the most of that.

On the other occasions, the pair is working: one at an office, and the other at a school. 

The third day proves different. Rohan rushes through the door and kneels on the kitchen floor, his palm holding a petite, royal blue box. 

"Seeing as I never got to properly propose to you Ira, here it goes. Ira, will you forgive me for everything I've done, and be my wife?" He opens the box and flaunts his wealth- inside it, lays a gleaming diamond ring.

Ira cries with amazement and accepts instantaneously; it's a well-known fact that diamonds are a girl's best friend.
