BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS

Prologue

When I was seven, our neighbor was a teacher. I was amazed by the fact that she teaches children so I told myself I will be a teacher when I grow up.

When I was ten, our school was on fire and a lady firefighter rescued us. Since then I told myself I want to become a firefighter when I grow up.

When I was twelve, we went to the dentist to set up my dental braces since I have uneven teeth. His white coat was so cool and I told myself I will be a doctor someday.

When I was fifteen, I watched an international beauty pageant. I told myself I will become Miss Universe someday-- but I dropped that dream because I am not confident to speak in front of a crowd.

When I was sixteen, I wanted to become a Certified Public Accountant so I took accountancy in college but on my second year, I failed Financial accounting.

When I was eighteen, I watched a legal thriller series and I told myself I wanted to become a lawyer. I don’t remember now why I drop such dream.

When I was twenty, I fell in love with Zywon Rocco Deltran...

...and I got a new dream since then. 

That is to become his girlfriend.

...but I think it will eventually be either forgotten or broken...

....just like the previous dreams I got.
