"Adhvik!! You look hot man. Future wife of yours is really lucky to have you as her hubby" I admired my own physique in the floor length mirror after my morning workout. I could hear the ramble between Yaatra and Aachi going on about my marriage from living room. These marriage chats was the talk of home for past 6 months. They say they are going to select me a bride but not even once I was bestowed with meeting a girl, leave the meeting not even was I allowed to listen to their talks.

Ladies and choices.

When Yaatra selects one Aachi rejects her and What Aachi selects is rejected by Yaatra. I seriously wonder how I would have put up if my family's entire female population was alive. It was 6 month back, I was given a option for marriage of love or marriage of their choice. I left it to their choice since it would be too difficult to finalize one from the female population that drools on me every other day. Aachi love me so much that she will choose the best pair for me. I believed in eternal love and not some infatuation that is going to turn into a loveless marriage.

"Good morning Aachi*" I greeted entering the living room donning a wife beater post my workout session

"Good morning Kanna*" Aachi voice reached me along with a "Dei *"disappointing voice of Yaatra as anticipated.

Yaatra, only daughter of this house, attention seeker and a big drama buzz. Always wanted my attention first directed towards her before anyone. But thing is I just love to rile her up. Well that's what brothers are for right?.

"Oh Yea I entirely forgot that you are here. Good morning to you too Dunce" I said plopping myself in the couch beside her to see the frown in her forehead.

"I am not Dunce, its Vikram. That is what Vinu has named him "I chuckled getting why he would have got that name when we heard a gasp.

Vikram ,who was coming towards living room all dressed up heard the entire hassle and settled between us.

"Seriously she said me that Pumpkin?" he questioned Yaatra in an unbelievable tone.

"Why would not she? After all you are being one .When was the last time you have taken her for an outing?" Aachi questioned giving him a look of mockery

"Even two days back I brought her to our home Aachi "he said as a matter of fact but we 3 could not control our laughter and blustered

"Idiot!! Don't say you are my Grandson. Take her out for dinner tonight. If I see you home before 10 today I would not give you meal for the entire week" Aachi threatened him when Yaatra pitched in "Vikram get married in a jiffy if not Vinu may announce a breakup with you anytime soon" Vikram for a moment paled and turned towards me

"You man, settle with any missy quick and pave way for my marriage. Stubborn woman ,pointing at Aachi,there wants to get you married first even though I am the one who is committed" he rambled and vacated the place making a quick call to Vineetha if am not wrong.

"Vikram Kanna, forgot your breakfast?!" Aachi's voice had a gleam more than care to feed her grandson.

"I will have on my way Aachi" the distant voice of Vikram reeled in letting us know he is out of threshold by now.

"Did you see Aachi? You said my brothers are grown up, matured and all. But one proves he is a Grinch and the other one proves he is a Shenanigan star. I seriously pity the girls who is going to marry this Asshat and that Grinch." Yaatra said in all her sassiness and got back to the business of discussing with Aachi on my wedding talks.

All the 4 in this house shares a very healthy relationship, never hesitated to put out their point in front of other. Pushed to face the world alone with the demise of her husband, sons and daughters in law, Aachi ensured we have been brought up with all love that would be given by parents. She never grieved sitting home but stepped out in her late fifties and took over the reins of the construction firm that was set up by her sons. Ensured all the toil and hard work of them remained intact. It was her upbringing that managed us to reach high. Securing a graduation we  joined as a normal employee in the firm and learned all division requirements before taking up the management from Aachi.

Vikram, younger to me by 5 months let me take the position saying I was the right one to have the authority. He stepped back and helps in the management just like his father helped mine. He is more of a friend to me than a brother. Yaatra never differentiated between her blood brother Vikram and me. Being in her final year of structural engineering she will join with us in managing this firm soon. Since the day Vikram announced he is in love with Vineetha, Aachi engaged herself in finding a bride for me.

"Dei" I was out of my thoughts by Yaatra's call

"Adhvik, We finalised a girl for you. Why don't you see her photo and say do you like her? If you are ok we can proceed with rest of formalities." Aachi said eyeing me.

"You both have together finalised a girl "it must have come out as a question than a statement that I got two of their glares making holes through me

"Done taunting us? You have exactly got the genes from the male heads from this family. Taunts and Pride surge through your blood." It was Aachi giving me genetic lessons.

"Leave him Aachi, let him see the photo and decide for himself on our capabilities." Yaatra piqued my curiosity

I got the photo with an unknown excitement, surge of enthusiasm kicked in my blood stream but I managed to contain all my emotions in face and enquired casually "What did Vikram say?" to divert them if at all I get to show some emotions. I don't want these both woman to tease the hell out of me in case if I liked the girl.

"He hasn't yet seen the photo but we spoke with him about this and he said if you are okay we can take another step" Yaatra commented.

The fact that she was approved by the two precious woman of my life gave me an urge to know what was more special about her.
I was under the scrutinizing gaze but that didn't stop the smile that born on my face seeing the photo. I was satisfied with her appearance. She was a beauty and her eyes twinkled with a glint. Unable to withstand any more of their gaze I dropped the photo and made my way to the room muttering something in the lines of getting late to office. Once inside the premises of my locked room smile grew big and I did a happy jig.

"Adhvik don't behave like a perv pig. You just had a glance of her. Accept she is a beauty but you don't even know her name and her character. Stop your frenziness and get ready. Get it in your thick skull she is not yet yours." My inner self made a huge dig at me trying to hamper my spirit. Nothing could pull down my blithe until the moment I appeared in the dinning again

Half way through the quiet breakfast Aachi popped in the question with a smile"Kanna you didn't say whether you liked the girl."

Not to let out my contentness I said "Yea she is good"

Yaatra coughed giving me a knowing look while Aachi took out the pic once again shoving it on my face in annoyance "She is beautiful and pretty not just good."

"Same thing Aachi " I muttered trying to focus my entire concentration on food whereas my eyes were ditching by roaming towards the photo inches away from me.

"Adhvik, if you don't like we can see another profile " Yaatra intruded while I quickly reverted with "No not required" thus getting Aachi's entire attention and evil smile.

"So Aachi let him know on the details of the future bride "Yaatra had this wicked smile like now is her time to tease me.

Aachi chuckled and was about to say me the details when I interrupted saying that may not be required and asked them to arrange for an official meet to know on her.

"Kanna atleast know her name " Aachi had the same gleam in her voice like when she teased Vikram to have his breakfast. I rushed out quick not trying to get into any more of her witty talks. The walk from the dinning to the portico of my house was the longest with both of the crazy woman roaring in laughter at me.
