Alexander walked out of town before Lidia's voice could even reach him. He was too dangerous to be around people or at least he thought so. 

Alexander walked as far as he could before night fell. He looked up at the sky the only thing he could see in the darkness that the night brought. A small creature seemed to be following him and he knew it but didn't care. Eventually, the creature grew tired and stopped its hunt.

Alexander pushed on threw out the night. He covered a great distance before his legs couldn't take anymore. He sat against a tree and covered his head with his hood. He didn't realize how tired he was and he fell asleep.

Hours later a carriage stopped at his feet.

Girl: Do you think he's dead?

Man: Who cares if he is. Why did you stop?

Girl: This boy looked distressed and I won't go anywhere with good conscious knowing I left a hurt man on the road.

Man: Fine, fine I'll check on him.

The man jumped down from the strange carriage to check on Alexander. The horses seemed takes and calm. 

Man: he's breathing. I think he's just tired

The man placed a hand on Alexander to see if he was alright. Alexander awoke and his reflexes kicked in from training. The man's arm pined behind his back.

Man: Hey man calm down

Alexander realized what he had done and released the man.

Alexander: I'm so sorry.

Girl: Are you alright sir?

Man: You can at least show some concern for me.

Girl: You shouldn't have touched him.

Alexander: Ya I'm alright.

Girl: What were you doing sleeping out here? It's dangerous.

Alexander: I got tired.

Girl: You look tired. You can sleep at our place.

Alexander: I could-

Man: Don't refuse she's set on helping you. Just get in were not a threat alright.

Alexander got in. The girl seemed young. Around the age of 9. She had her legs covered and her hands folded over them. The man got in shortly after.

Girl: Alright horses take us home.

The horses started to move.
