After a few hours of reading Alexander finished one of the books. He learned absolutely nothing except that he was capable of things he couldn't have thought of. At the end of the book, it had some ancient words that had not been translated but Alexander could read them perfectly. 

The quote before the untranslated words was " Warning if the spell is read by any other element serious damage will be done to the reader. If the proper element reads it aloud, time will come to a standstill and they will be the only one who will be able to react. This is a perfect way to train or get away from things. After the spell is read aloud it will be burned away from this book. Memorize it before read aloud ".

Alexander thought it over. He couldn't do anything if he couldn't harness his power. The power that his father saw as a blessing, the power he hid from everyone, the power that was running through his body. He made up his mind. He had to say the words he could only read. If it was true that it could stop time around him he had to take it.

It was now or never. Max left him here to train and he would do just that. Residing the words they burned from the pages after the last syllable was spoken.

Things around him slowly came to a stop. He needed all the time he could get. It wouldn't be a simple thing to master but he had to try.
