Lidia was awake long before Alexander was. Her situation put her in a different spot. She couldn't work without a threat of injury over her shoulder, but she needed to work if she were to make a living. 

Lidia brushed Alexander's hair with her hand as he slept then touched her stomach. She hoped that her child would be as good of a person as Alexander was.

Lidia: Alright time to work.

She got up from the bed and went outside to the forge. Hours passed before the clanking of raw materials woke Alexander up. At first, he was confused about where he had been but that soon dissipated as he remembered the conversation with creation and destruction.

Alexander lifted himself out of bed. His body hurt for some odd reason but he spoke it off and went outside to Lidia.

Lidia was working on a family sword from a family that lived a town or two over.

Lidia: So you're awake?

Alexander: It seems so. Max said -

Lidia: Yes. Please go back inside I'll be inside in a minute. Alexander did as he was told as Lidia finished up and cleaned off the black dust that stuck to her skin.

The river water was cold but her natural hot skin warmed it to a decent temperature.

Alexander sat at the table when Lidia walked in.

Lidia: Alright I'm not going to super coat this. I'm carrying max's child. You're going to have a cousin in a few months.

Alexander: I knew it ... oops.

Lidia: What was that?

She shot him a look that sent fear into any soul. She had no signs of being with child. Alexander thought to himself about when it had to have happened.

Lidia: Wipe that look off you face. Now I know what your plans are. You think everyone is going to die because of you. That's not true. Think about how many people you have saved-

Alexander: Lidia your not changing my mind.

Lidia: I know that it's just.

Alexander: I should leave. Thank you for your hospitality.

He gathered the items he had brought purposely leaving a small bag of money behind for Lidia and left.

Lidia: Alexander wait.
