Dusk threw Alexander out of his grip. He glares down at Alexander before vanishing deeper into the hallway. Alexander herd a door slam shut as he looked twords him direction.

Alexander picked himself up and made his way back to Alice. She had the pup on her lap. It was drinking her tea and eating a small slice of bread the Harris most likely had brought for it.

Alice : are you alright Alexander?

Alexander: I'm fine .

Alice : I know how dusk can be around others. I don't care for it that much but I do care for him .

Alexander: so how do you know Dusk?

Alice explained her and dusks relationship. As she talked about dusk a smile grew on her face . The pup started to drift off to sleep.

Alexander: I see so he's like family to you.

Alice: yes , oh looks like you dog-

Alexander: he's not my dog

Alice: well anyways it looks like he fell asleep.

Hue : ha your pretty tough kid but your wide open.

Hue's leg swing around kicking Quillo's feet out from under him. He reached one hand back to brace his fall and fell on it . For a second he was still.

Hue: quillo ? Are you alright ?

She walked over to him and to her surprise had her feet kicked out from under her. She hit the ground on her back and quillo was standing above her holding his wrist that looked broken.

Silf : hey both of you stop.

Silf pshed them apart and grabed quillo's wrist . She slightly shuttered at the touch before pulling it away.

Quillo: I'm fine . Leave me alone . Hey lady. Your not as strong as teacher but I'm willing to call this a draw , for now .

Hue: ha it's alright , hey we need to get your wrist fixed up.

Quillo: I'm fine. Next time we fight we use elements , I'll beat you then .

Silf smacked quillo' s back.

Silf : hey look brat. That wrist is bad looking . Stop putting up this tough act .

Silf and hue took quillo back to the med room where max was .

Dusk sat on the bed looking at his hands. Minutes went by before he noticed that another hand was intertwined with his. He instantly knew who's it was before griping his hand.

Chaos : lucky you. You have that bastard here and you still haven killed that girl. After all the openings your being spoon fed. Look at this situation. A cripled girl whom adores you. She like a helpless animal.

She grabbed dusks face and pulled his chin to look at her face. He looked into her one good eye the other blunted his reflection back at him in the darkness.

Chaos: your my toy . And I'm getting impatient to play with you more.

Dusk: I can't kill her

Chaos's grip tightened cutting into his face. Her eyes widened and her crooked smile returned.

Chaos: what did you just say. Oh I hope it's not what I thought becouse I don't want you half willing . I need my toy broken so I can destroy them . DON'T YOU DARE BE LIKE ALEXANDER! you know what sleep.

Dusk s body grew heavy after these words and fell as she ripped her claws out of his face. Blood started to spill out of the holes.

Chaos : so he hahahaha he couldn't be emptied either. Well he can but not willingly. I'll get my way . I will and boy don't try to defy me again. Your mine now and I want to have some fun.

She placed his body on the bed closing the the puncture on his face. Black dots resigned where the wounds were.

Max: hey what happened?

Hue: ahh nothing much we just were staring a little to aggressively

One of the life elementalist in the room treated quillo's wrist. After only a few minutes the bones reset and the wrist was moveable again.

Life elementalist: alright I fixed the break but you'll still have a sprain to it. Don't apply to much pressure to it alright.

Quillo: ya sure .

Gray and ace both herd a loud crash from inside the libariey. It seemed a large shelf had fallen on it's own.

Ace : well I'm done here .

Gray: you know you can't leave a mess here-

Ace : shut it . Do you feel that .

Gray: feel what

Ace : over twords the books . The same feeling as that kid Alexander. But it's not Alexander.

A book moved and a girl pulled herself out from the destruction. She looked frantic and gray instantly knew who it was. Ace seemed he could care less but was still surprised by her reapearence.

Gray: Selena?

Ace : like I said I'm done here have fun

Selena : Alexander... you need to go save him . Please

She looked up at gray with tears filling her eyes

Gray : what do you mean?

Selena : they are going to kill him . Please . I can't stop them this time. My ability is running low. Please hurry and -

As Selena spoke she slowly started to fade into nothing. Gray look shocked. After a moment of trying to understand what Selena had said he moved . Ace was standing outside of the door .

Ace : so your going . I see . Alright this will be interesting I'll get the others go on ahead . Don't let him die I haven't gotten a chance to see has he works yet.

Gray : there is no way I'm going to let that happen .

Ace : well get going . Good luck . We'll be right behind you.

Gray and ace went in different directions.

Alice : hey it's getting late . I'll see you in the morning alright.

Alexander: alright

The pup jumped off her lap and Harris picked her up carrying her off into the darkness of the hallway.

Alexander: well you want to sleep with me tonight?

The pup barked in agreement and they both followed in the darkness and into a room near the room Harris had put Alice in . Alexander didn't realize how tired he was until his head hit the bed. The pup snuggled up next to him and both of them slept.

Dusk had been distressed after his last encounter with chaos. After he passed out he could only see himself killing Alice in numerous ways . The more he saw himself doing so the less he felt twords it but only becouse it was a dream. A dream he was sure chaos had caused. If there was one person he would gain pleasure out of killing it would be chaos. It was the middle of the night when he woke up.

The memory of the dreams lingered in his head and tilting him head forward to get up he realized he was crying. He shook the tears away and stood up.

Dusk : get a hold on yourself.

Dusk walked out of the room and found himself in front of Alice's room. A voice was conning from inside the room. Chaos?

Chaos: so pure so innocent. I wonder if this flower will bleed or cry out before they die.

Something possessed dusk and he ran in the room. He saw Alice on the ground and chaos in the bed. Rage blinded him and his hands were quickly around chased neck.

She tried to break out of his grip but the more she moved the tighter his grip got. She kept trying to call his name out causing him more anger. A black mist formed thickly around his hands as color from her face faded turning to a pale lifeless gray.

Alexander hearing the commotion ran threw the door and into Alice's room.

Alexander: DUSK!

Reality snapped back to dusk. A trick? In the back of his mind he herd chaos laugh as the chaos that was lifeless turned to Alice. The skin where dusk s hands were was jet black that faded into a dull gray the further you got from the area. Her eyes were tightly shut . Dusk fell back looking at his hands and Alice, wide eyes .

Alexander: what the hell did you do dusk?

Dusk looked at the body on the ground who at first he believed was Alice. Harris lied in a pool of blood. Cuts around his body still gushed the red fluid.

Dusk: Alexander, kill me, please

Alexander: why would you

Dusk got up still wide eyed and graves Alexander.

Dusk : I didn't know what I was doing but know that I do I can't go on . End it . Send me back to my grave that's where I belong not her.

Alexander: I can't do that . Dusk

Alexander was both interrupted and thrown to the floor by a punch from dusk. He seemed to not be able to control himself. The punches kept coming and coming, hitting Alexander's face with inconsistent blows.

Alexander could feel blood flying off his face but he couldn't tell if it was his or dusk's blood. After a dozen punches dusk stoped and Alexander could hear his sobs before he passed out.

Gray headed out of the college stopping at ryoko. She flared her nostrils at him .

Gray: hey there

Ryoko: what is it you want mortal

Gray : Alexander is your master correct.

Ryoko : you are correct

Gray: he's going to die soon and if you want to help me prevent that I need your help finding him , you know where he is correct

Ryoko: I do but what is it to you.

Gray : like I said he's going to die soon. Us talking like this is as strong time. Will you help me or not .

Ryoko: alright fine

She lowered her back .

Ryoko: get on .

Gray did as she told and she took off into the air.

Ace made his way twords max and the others opening the door let noise flood the hallway. As nature would have it he spotted hue first . A shiver ran up her spine and she turned to look at ace , dropping quillo.

Quillo: finally

Ace : well I should inform all of you of the situation.

He walked up to hue , grabbing her and holding his staple close to her neck. Everyone's attention was on him.

Ace : gray left after Alexander. It's highly possible that Alexander will parish soon.

Hue : what what do you mean ?

Ace : I wasn't provided any details but taking a wild guess they are going to need our help.

He stoped the knife from hue's neck and pointed it twords max.

Ace: make your mind up . Help him and risk dieing yourself or let him die .

Silf: no way Alexander could die

Max : but he can . He can be killed just as any one of us can.

Quillo: I won't let teacher die

Quillo moved over to ace .

Hue: your right he's our friend he would do the same for us.

Silf : if it's really that serious I'll help too.

Ace: max make up your mind, if you are really all for your students , get out of that bed now.

Max swung up out of the bed.

Max: come on brother, I was ready as soon as you walked in the room. So what are we waiting for , let get moving , go go
