Dusk slowly walked into the town. He kept his eyes on the ground trying to keep anyone from sporting him out. He wasn't that lucky and a man he always use to pester recognized him.

Man : Dusk? My boy is that you.

He tried the sink into the empty pathway.

Man : It is you. How's it been? Last time we spoke was around two years ago when-

Dusk : don't finish your sentence.

Man: kid? You come back after all these years and you don't want to even say hello. How will a-

Dusk griped the man's shirt without thinking. This man was just trying to reconnect with him but allowed himself to do so, killing Alice would destroy him.

Dusk: Listen old man. You never saw me. Go back to your work .

Dusk released the man and to his surprise he did as Dusk said. He took a quick look around to see if chaos had done that and he found a single black feather .

Dusk : I should have known better. She is watching me.

He crushed the feather in his hand and threw it up in the air, almost instantaneously one of his orbs appeared and swallowed the feather.

Dusk stood outside  alice's home for a long time before deciding to knock. The people that lingered the street must have thought he was crazy.

The door opened.

Harris: Hello- oh Dusk? You've returned? What brings you back? Alice would surely be excited to hear your back.

Dusk : Hey Harris, is Alice in?

Harris: She is actually away at the moment. I can get her if you-

Dusk : No need I'll get her. She's in the garden . Correct?

Harris : I'm impressed you still remember her favorite spot.

Dusk : I'll take that as a yes.

Dusk turned away from the door and headed off twords Alice. After a short minute walk he saw her. If dusk was trying to be stealthy the stick on the ground that was crunching under his foot was a dead giveaway.

Alice turned her head and if she had any use of her legs you could have bet that she would have spring up right there and hugged him.

Alice : Dusk your back.

Dusk: ha seems you caught me sis

Alice : I know it's been years but stop calling me sis.

Dusk : no way

He walked closer and sat next to her.

Dusk : Are your still carrying that blanket around?

Alice : why wouldn't I? A kid made it for me .

Dusk shot her one of his typical dirty looks but softened before she could see it.

Alice: Dusk.

Dusk: yeah what it is ?

Alice : Where had you been all this time ? The last thing I heard was you enrolled in that college after your parents took you away. Why haven't you visited until now ?

Dusk placed a hand on her head and gave her a hollow smile. His smile still brought one to Alice's face. The dusk alice knew was here, while he despretly tried to hide his actions that he had done while he was away.

Dusk: Yeah I was at the college and my reason for not visiting. Humm

Alice : don't lie to me

Dusk : Alright the truth then. I wasn't the person you wanted me to be.

Alice: that's a lie.

Dusk: alright you caught me. I was busy doing stuff to improve my element. Do you want to see.

Alice: that I believe. Alright show me .

Dusk : alright close your eyes.

She did as dusk said too. Dusk fell like he could kill her now. It would be so easy. His hands moved tword her neck but he quickly shook controls back into them. This was choas not him.

Alice: can I look now ?

Dusk quickly grabbed a flower and using his element dyed it black.

Dusk : alright go ahead and look.

Alice saw a flower that was black that had a thin cloud of black mist around dusk's fingers.

Dusk had learned this parlor trick his first year at the college so, technically he wasn't deceiving her.

Alice: Can I touch it?

Dusk :Go ahead.

Alice reached out and touched the flower. It was cold to the touch and seemed to shiver away from her fingers . Her face seemed filled with wonder right before the flower crumbled into nothing.

Alice: it died

Dusk: Hey I should get you home. Harris would worried if you didn't come back .

He mentally punched himself for the bad choose of words he used but, Alice didn't catch on.

Alice : alright  it is getting late anyways.

Dusk picked her off the ground and walked her back home. Thoughts he knew that wernt his own clouded him head.

Alexander  made his way quickly threw the forest. Instead of walking as he had done his first time going threw it, he ran. Every so often he'd have to stop and catch his breath.The same feeling come over  him as last time. He was being chased.

Alexander: I should have got a carriage.

The creature seemed to get closer and instead of running Alexander desided to deal with it. A small yet determined pup came out from a bush. It was barking and growling for Alexander. Alexander gave it a confused look.

Alexander: so this is a thing that's been chasing me.

He knelt down towards the pup and it tried to attack him. He put his hand out and pet the pup.

Alexander: hey calm down.

The pup calmed as he said,  it sat back and looked at him. It seemed abnormally thin as if it was abandoned by its pack.

Alexander:  are you hungry

The pup barked at him. Alexander reach towards his side and a small bag. He had forgot his food or any food in fact.

Alexander: looks like I forgot food. But hey maybe the place I'm going to will have some for you.

The pup seem off. It wasn't the behavior but it was something about the dog's fur. Small ruins  were patterned in the fur all around it. Upon closer inspection  this pup looked as it it was made of natural elements and the ruins seemed make of rock.

Alexander being no stranger to weird things continued on his journey knowing that the rock pup was following him.

Quillo looked around the college for Alexander. He looked in almost every classroom before Hue found him.

Hue : Quillo? Are you looking for something?

Quillo: Where did teacher go?

Hue : teacher? Oh are you  are talking about Alexander?

Quillo: Yes teacher . He said he'd train me but then he just disappeared.

Hue: I think max is having him do something. I could train you if you want.

Quillo: no way.

Hue : what's that supposed to mean?

Quillo: well your not strong enough and I'll only learn from teacher.

Hue started to get irritated with the attitude the kid was putting up.

Hue : hey I got a plan . How about I spar with you instead of you wondering around and getting lost. Since you won't let me train you a spar should be nice to show you what you could be missing.

Quillo: just until teacher comes back.

Hue: alright let's go , follow me .

Hue walked quillo over to the training room. If students were still on campus  the room would have been full of students but since everyone was gone the place was empty, excluding silf.

Hue : oh hey silf.

Silf : hey hue what's up.

Hue : just showing this kid some moves

Silf had just noticed quillo behind  hue.

Silf : hey short stuff

Quillo: I'm still taller than you .

Silf : you know what hue . Please don't hold back.

Quillo: even if she were not to hold back I'd win .

Hue :  alright that's it . Only one rule . No use of your element . This is hand to hand combat.

Lidia: max you sent Alexander alone

Max: I know what I'm doing babe

Lidia: how many times do I have to say it . The name is lidia. And sometimes I'm not sure if you do know what your doing.

Max: baby come on , give me more credit

Lidia : it's lidia.

Max : I sent Alexander becouse as of right now he is the only one that can handle dusk. Based on what the winds are telling me. It's not good.

Lidia: what did you send him into

Max : you could consider it the a prewar. And if they are in that town they plan to disrupt many of nations.

Lidia: what do you mean

Max : a child there has connections to all of the nations. For some reason she seems to be one of the major focal points for peace upon them. I've had the honor to meet her once and I could see why leaders even the council like her.

Lidia: so you sent Alexander to play bodyguard.  Can't she do that herself

Max: actually  no she can't. She is the opposite of Alexander.  How powerful as he is  could be compared to how weak or strong she is. She and people around her lack the element that most take granite.

Lidia: how can a child be born like that?

Max: as of now we don't know but every few years a handful are born without elements.

Lidia touched her stomach  and thought for a second about her unborn child.

Max : anyways baby well need to talk with ace soon .

Lidia: if it's necessary

Dusk managed to fight himself off enough to get Alice home and into a chair.

Dusk : hey Alice. Can I be excused for just a minute.

Alice: sure I'll be right here. Don't be gone for long.

Dusk walked down the hall  and into one of the guest rooms. He saw a mirror on the wall but instead of seeing himself reflected back he saw chaos. Her face along was enough to make him furious. The reflecting smiled as Dusk's fist collided with the glass. Upon pulling his hand away he could only see himself in the broken mirror. Blood trickled down from his knuckles. Harris  opened the door hearing the glass break.

Harris: is everything  alright in here.

Dusk: everything's fine

Harris : if you say so. Tea will be done soon if you want some.

Dusk: no thanks

Harris: I'll leave you too your business.

He left closing the door behind him just as dusk sat on the bed. He griped tightly on his hair trying to replace the thought to kill that chaos was putting in his head. After a minute the room grew still.

Chaos: Are you playing game?

She crawled on the bed behind dusk and slid a hand to the side of his face.

Chaos: why fight it ? I have you range to kill the runt.

Dusk stood up without looking at her. His fists were clenched and the sound of her voice made his head Echo with pain.

Dusk : how am I supposed to kill someone if you're standing over my shoulder.

Chaos: I told you that I would be watching you didn't I. I'm just waiting until I get my toy back. After you do this you can be so fun to play with. I'm just waiting now. Oh don't keep me impatient. When I get impatient events tend to happen rather fast.

Dusk clenched his teeth and without checking if she was gone and he left, slamming the door behind him. The slam Echo throughout the house. He returned to sit across from Alice.

Alice: would you like any tea?

Dusk: no I'm fine

Alice : Dusk?

Dusk: what

Alice : I don't know if you realized this but your bleeding

He looked at his hand and blood was still rushing from it.

After a long time of walking Alexander finally made it to the town of the no elements. The pup seem to follow him all this way. It seemed to have been really hungry. Alexander picked the pup up before stepping into town. He couldn't recall exactly what paths the carriage that took him here he actually went on.

Alexander: excuse me sir

Alexander stopped a man who had looked like he was a staring into space.

Man: oh you scared me , how can I help you .

Alexander: do you know where I can find Alice

Man: of your the elementalist that Alice had brought here a few days ago . I thought you left

Alexander: I did but I really need to talk to her now and kind of lost my way in the town

Man : well she should be in her house. It's down the road to the left if you've hit. The gardens you've gone too far.

Alexander: thanks for the help

Alexander ran off the way that the man told him to with the pup squirming in his arms. After short time he arrived. He had  recognize the house and knocked on the door.

Harris: oh Alexander? Did you forget something?

Alexander: oh no no, nothing like that but I did come back to talk with Alice

Harris: that would make two unexpected visitors.  Please come in . Alice you have a visitor.

Alice: I do ?

Harris brought  Alexander into the room where dusk and Alice were.  Alexander got a look of complete amazement when he saw dusk. Dusk shot him a dirty look .

Dusk: Alice excuse me and this guy for a minute .

Alice: dusk do you know him

Dusk got up and started pushing Alexander out of the room. Once out of sight and eardusk slammed Alexander up against the wall by his neck.

Dusk: what the hell are you doing here. I'm going to-

Alexander: dusk you alive.

Dusk: your lucky that I'm in no mood for a fight right now.

Alexander: your actions can convince me otherwise.

Dusk: shut the hell up and leave before I kill you.

Alexander: dusk why are you here?

Dusk's grip loosened slightly.

Dusk : it's none of your dam business  now leave

Alexander: I'm afraid I can't. Something bad will happen here and soon .

Dusk : I'm well aware.

Alexander: hey come on let's be civil for now. Until I kill creation and destruction I can't risk anyone getting hurt .

Dusk: what are you blabbering about .

Alexander: oh no I was talking out loud
