It was a normal day, just like any other. I woke up, took a shower, washed my face, brushed my teeth, got dressed into my uniform, which was yes, adorable, but very...um...provocative. I rushed out the door, only grabbing an apple for breakfast. I was normally rushing out the door, due to my crazy sleep schedule. And, no, I do not stay up all night watching videos and looking at pictures of boy bands like teenage girls should. Instead, my parents insist on me studying for anything and everything. They also want me to practice my dancing for 4 hours everyday, no matter what.
I hopped on my little yellow moped and sped through traffic to get to (hometown) High. About 1/3 of the way, it started raining. And I mean, it was pouring. What can I say? (Hometown) weather would drive you crazy. Soon, my school came into sight, the campus filled with students. It was a big school, with at least 500 students per grade. It was my 3rd year, in other words, I'm almost done with this school. I parked my moped and made sure it was off before running through the rain into the school.
I walked through the now empty halls, trying to remember where my new homeroom was. I kept my head down, only looking up to check the numbers on the doors. Suddenly, something his me, hard, and I fell to the floor. "Ow.." I said. I opened my eyes to see a smiling boy standing in front of me, holding out his hand. Reluctantly, I took it.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Oh, yes." I replied, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "I'm fine, s-sorry.." I told him.
"Be careful next time." he told me. "Hey, do you know where homeroom 138 is?" He asked. I picked up my bag and nodded.
"Yeah, it's my homeroom." I told him. "Follow me." I headed down the hall and we walked in silence until we got to our Homeroom.
"Well, Ms.(last name), You're late." Mr.Lee said. "Again. Have a seat." He told me.
I groaned and walked sluggishly to the back of the room, where nobody sat, so I was alone. I pulled out my textbook and reviewed my notes from last night."Um, excuse me?" The boy who I had bumped into asked. "Are you Mr.Lee?" Mr.Lee nodded.
"And I suppose you are.." Mr. Lee began.
"Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook, sir." He smiled and bowed. "I just transfered from Seoul." He explained.
"Ah, yes. Jungkook.." Mr. Lee said. "Everyone, this is Jeon Jungkook. We will try our best to make him feel welcome here, correct?" He said. Jungkook smiled and bowed.
The boys a few rows ahead of me made the "L'' sign on their foreheads, and another group of boys yawned, while the girls squealed. "I'll be sure to do the same, Mr. Lee."
"Nobody asked you to speak, Mr. Jeon. You can have a seat next to (Y/N). " I raised my hand so he knew. He smiled and walked to the back. He bowed and extended his hand.
"Hello!" He told me. "I'm Jungkook..and I guess you're (Y/N)?" I shook his hand.
"Well, clearly." I told him, looking back at my notes. "I wouldn't have raised my hand if I wasn't." I put in my earbuds and turned up the music. God, what a loser. He's being too nice. Just wait, this boy won't last a day in this school. For the rest of the period, I could tell Jungkook was looking at me. He asked me how long I had lived in (hometown) and he told me something I didn't pay attention to. "Listen, Seoul boy," I told him.
"I'm all ears." he said still smiling. God, did the smiling ever stop?
"If you keep up this attitude, the students here will eat you alive." I said.
He sat back in his chair. "Since when was being nice a problem?" He asked.
"Nice kids are easy to pick on, so you can be nice all you want," I replied. "Just expect to get beat up. Kids in (hometown) don't mess around. " I crossed my arms and looked at the clock. "You've been warned." I packed up my stuff and the bell rang. I headed out of the classroom. I saw Jungkook walking next to me.
"Hey, are you really serious about the kids here?" He asked. Damn, this boy had nerve. I grabbed his shirt collar and shoved him against the locker.
"Did I sound like I was kidding?" I asked him. I readied my fist, and I was about to punch, when the vice principal, Mrs. Song, interrupted it. I whispered to him, "You're one lucky son of a bitch....take this as a warning."
"This is your warning, Mr. Jeon, Ms. (lastname) no PDA, or you two will be staying after school for detention!" She grabbed both of us by out shirt collars and separated us.
"S-sorry, miss. We'll be on our way." Jungkook bowed. I made a face. We walked in the same direction and after a while, I got annoyed.
"What gives?" I asked him, pushing him away from me. "Don't you have a class to go to?" I asked him.
"My class is this way, too, you know." He said. "God,am I not allowed to go to my Science class?" He smiled. Wait, he had Science first period too? This couldn't be right. There was only one Science class in this wing, so that must mean...no.
"With who?" I asked him.
"Ms. Choi. What about you? What class do you have?" I couldn't believe this. My day couldn't have gotten any worse.
"Same as you, bro." I told him. I guess I could warm up to him a little, if we were sharing two hours next to each other everyday. "What else do you have?" I asked him.
"Seccond period Ethics with Mr. Geum. "
"Same.."
"Third is P.E with Mr. Kang..." he looked up at me for an answer.
"I have Math.." I told him. He told me the rest of his schedule, and my day went from bad to worse. So we have 6 out of 8 periods together, and we have the same lunch period. I mean, I guess I could pretend he didn't exist, but then again, that was boring.
I spend 7 hours everyday with Jeon Jungkook, and I don't totally hate it.
