I forgot to add on my last headcanon that the same would apply to the Canadas and Frances.

Where Matthew went to live with Francis for a while (before later going to live with Arthur), Matt too refused to go and stayed with Native Canada (later he'd stay with Native America but I'm not delving into that sadness right now...).

Though he too was forced at one point to go live with François after a long while (and later was forced to go live with Oliver (which happened to him sooner than it did with his 1p) but that is another sadness I will also not be delving into at the moment...)
