My problems make me wish I was thoughtless.
In my life I need a bit more softness.
I wonder what it would be like if I was flawless.
What if I looked like a goddess?
Would I become less modest?
What if my monsters didn't haunt me at night?
Do you think my mind would become
more bright?
Would I find it easy to let in the light?
What if I wasn't afraid of the darkness?
Would I then be harmless?
Would my thoughts lose its sharpness?
And what if I stopped caring?
Would I sit here, comparing?
Would it be a blessing?
What if I was anyone, but me?
Would I then be carefree?
Would my heart and mind still disagree?
