I can only wish that everything would return to normal. Pain from losing someone close to me is foreign. I've been fortunate enough to live life in peace with the people I love. Sure, everyone has their crappy days, some more dire than others. Holidays, special events, and family vacations. Spending time with them is something I've never had to miss... before I met you.

Accepting what has happened and letting you walk away was my biggest misstep. No matter how hard I wish to redo those last precious moments, there are no do-overs. Until the day I take my last breath, I have to live with knowing I could have done more.
