As the Knight Falls

Apart from the story description, everything was awesome! The characters had a good amount of mystery in them and the pace was perfect. The Writing style was good and captured the attention of the readers at once and I particularly loved the careful amount of minuscule details you put in and the precision of judgements.

It was perfect, just perfect. I didn't even need to finish one chapter to know this book is quality material. The writing style was beautiful and the idea was fresh and original.

The book needs several aspects to be rectified and while reading the flow isn't felt. Emotion and careful thought are absent from the sentences. The book is good, but I think it can be better if you fix the cover and the writing style a bit. Great Job on what you have done though!

The book was great! I was really interested in the special pull the guards seem to have with the Autumn and will definitely be reading more to find out! The games commence chillingly just as in the series but the curious relationship between the guards and their persistence in making Autumn survive provided that extra topping of thrill and mystery.

What can I say, the Prologue was just, bomb! I was sucked into its world from the very beginning. The writing style was interactive and had a fair quality of mystery in it. The introduction of the mysterious Guy in Black provides us with a good insight into his dark character. Congratulations, you've gained a new reader!

Enticing plotline honestly but the story was a little hard to grasp just from the beginning.  However, it was definitely interesting and left one with so many questions and guesses! I loved the characters as well, we got the depth of who they were, almost right into the story. Good job, looking forward to discovering the conspiracy we detected and the ending! A most definitely must-read thriller/mystery

A great story that has potential. Please work on editing the grammar and the dialogues, edit the punctuation marks as well. The story has a hooking edge and that's a great aspect of any story, work on the responses of the main character, make them realistic. But the story is great, I'm hoping to see more of your improvements. Thank you

It's a great plot and it started mysterious which was awesome! Work on your grammar and also edit the story chapter by chapter, I suggest you attach more meat to each character's point of view, and that way we can relate more, the plot came off at a great pace, that's commendable! Thank you.

The book is all over the place in terms of writing. The paragraphs that encased a conversation are not there and it is kind of hard to flow with the story the way the dialogue is written, try to revise on that. The characters introduced are intriguing, especially the main character. The plot is somewhat lukewarm but it could be interesting, you have the mystery and the crazy down the path but now the problem is how you align it to make a great story. Hoping to see more of your improvements.

It's been a while since I read such a well-articulated book, indeed don't judge a book by its cover! I loved the book earnestly, from the prologue down to the last chapter, everything was written beautifully! Bravo!! Great job.

The book is unique in its own way but the cover seems to be its main problem. Then there's poor punctuation. The writer also needs to find a way to make the book less serious so the readers can enjoy it a little more. All in all, I wish I could really understand it a little more and that's where the challenge lies.

The book is extremely thrilling and even has hints of horror in it. There was a smooth flow of ideas from one point to another in the book. The characterization is so good that I could actually envision some characters and scenarios in the book. It is simply amazing and needs touch-ups on the cover since it's a little too vague. It would be nice if there were more paragraphs. Apart from that, it really is an interesting book.

Please...don't

The title doesn't relate to the content of the book. The cover is way too random and should be changed. The story's description is a little too short and reveals no detail about 'Please... don't.'. I suggest the writer works on it because these are the first and crucial aspects of a book. The grammar was poor along with punctuation which almost ruined the book. If these factors are overlooked and worked on, the book is really interesting and enjoyable.

Eyes in the Night

Eyes in the Night is interesting and intriguing. I found myself lost in the chapters though I think the cover needs to be changed. The writing style is commendable... Although the writer needs to re-read each chapter because I found some grammatical mistakes along the way. The story's description should be made more intriguing and if all these are met, the book is good to go.

Serial Lust and Murder
RJS416

76 / 100

This book is an intriguing concept with the serial killer component. You also have some nice descriptions that show the surroundings well. The book seems to jump all over the place as it goes from scene to scene and has different POVs in the same chapter.

I would consider making the transitions between scenes smoother. Also, there were a lot of dialogue tags, and they varied on what they were, which may distract some from the story. I would consider cutting down on them and giving them less of a variety in what they are to make them invisible. Also, if you use an action as a dialogue tag, there should be a period instead of a comma. For instance, you had a place where the character chuckled after they spoke. That sentence should have had a period and not a comma. Overall, this is an interesting book that I think has a lot of potential.

A Few Seconds
viciousvint

86 / 100

The first chapter is intriguing. However, I would consider cutting some of it out.  Details that aren't needed, like all the things she hated. I realize the redundancy she hated was intentional, but it might serve the story better to lessen it. The repeat of "it took only a few seconds" worked well and is the most powerful part of the prologue. It would be very suspenseful if you talked about her being pursued by the attacker and then the three "It only took a few seconds" paragraphs. I think by cleaning up the prologue, you'll add a lot of power to it. One thing I would suggest is to study how to format dialogue tags. There were many incorrectly formatted. Your characters were relatable and realistic, which made for an enjoyable read.

The Unexpected Turn of Fate

80/100

You did an excellent job of building suspense in a lot of the scenes. I did notice tense changes in several spots, and some of the dialogue was formatted wrong. I would suggest turning more verbs active to show the scenes and paint a more vivid picture. This is a nice start to the novel.

The Weave of Life
Alea_Eve_Ramos_15

89 / 100

This book is rich in culture and descriptions. The emotion of grief comes through very clearly for the characters. One suggestion would be to lessen the times you write my Ina. I think once and perhaps after she discovers the house would be enough. Otherwise, I think it detracts from the meaning that could make my Ina have more impact. Overall, nicely done story.

7 Days in Chicago

I thought this book was an interesting concept with the mysterious job and what they were asked to do. I also liked the relationship between Austin and Avery. I would consider giving more descriptive details to pull the reader in more. I also found tense changes in several spots. Overall, I think this book is off to a good start, and you built a lot of intrigue.
