Hello stxrkissed!! Before you read the review, I just wanted to say you are a brilliant writer and you're probably gonna kill it one day.

First impressions:

Title: I really liked the title, but it's not suitable for this book. When I first saw it without reading the book, I thought it would be a romance kind of novel and stuff, but when I read it I discovered that that's not really what it's about. It's kind of good for the element of attraction but at the same time, it's misleading.

Cover: I just think the text should be a bit closer together but other than that, it's awesome

Rating: 9.5/10

Summary: I actually really like that it kinda shows the idea of the story but without giving any hints to what will happen through Fei's journey

Grammar: You don't really have grammar mistakes that are obvious or annoying maybe just 1 or 2.

Spelling: I have nothing bad to say about it, you have no spelling mistakes

The heart of the book:

Characters: I like how the character is relatable and well created.

Conflict: I loved her internal conflict, the regret inside her because of her decision to leave and also her grandmother.

Pace: It's a good pace, pretty comfortable.

Emotions: Perfect explanation of her emotions, honestly due to the fact that it's in third person, which is amazing because it shows off all the surroundings.

Chapter Endings: I really like your chapter endings, you hooked me and I enjoyed it, I felt I wanted more of it.

Suggestions/Compliments:

-It had a cliché beginning but then it shifted into a unique storyline.

-I love the idea of the story, its amazing and the expressions that you use are amazing. You also describe everything really well, honestly.

-The story from the prologue made me really excited to get deep into it and I really liked it.
