REVIEW 60 - THE CURSED PRINCE

I'm extremely sorry for the delay, I've been in a reading slump the past few days and I still am, but I tried to push through. Maybe the review won't be a good as it should be, but I tried. At the moment my brain is jammed.
I've read the first five chapters, and my review will solely be based on what I read so far.
Cover & Title: I'm not a huge fan of science fiction, so I'm not a good judge of the exterior design and stuff, but I do like it. And the title doesn't beat around the bush, and straight up throws the main intriguing plot in the face, so that's good.
Plot Settings: The story starts off in a third person narration and alternates between the protagonists point of view and third person. But moving on to the fourth chapter, we get a little snippet of the male protagonist's point of view. It keeps the angst and the mystery going.
All types of narration was beautifully written, but I specially liked the third person narration, there's the thing that science fiction feels more akin to the skin in third person point of view. But other first povs were good too.
Characters: Nova is the female protagonist of the book who's seen to be on a mission in a different timeline, and she's like a warrior of sorts. Brave and bold, with quick wit and smart.
Alex is the male protagonist, who is also the best friend of Nova as seen, and is trapped in his own body by a "Beast". He's the prince of a province and they have special powers for protection and to use as a weapon.
Alex is the selfless and brave kind, who is willing to give his life up for the betterment of others.
Themes: So far the themes include; retelling of fairytales(Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast? I'm not exactly sure), Action , Thriller and Forbidden Love.
Writing: The writing was pretty good, the action scenes were described well, and the writing succeeded to provide the heartache of the protagonists and the sacrifice they have to do.
No such grammatical or typographical errors except once or twice. And the plots are well presented and described.
Personal thoughts: Although science fiction isn't my first choice to go while picking a book. This was my first sci-fi read on Wattpad and I fairly enjoyed it.
Allover: A must pick if you're into the whole dystopian meets historical fiction with a generous amount of action. Go ahead and read this! And I would give it a 4.3 out of 5.
