(A/N: I apologize beforehand this review is a bit shorter than usual just because the review was a tad impromptu)

Even though I've only read 4 chapters so far, I think the author has done an amazing job of writing this book. She does a great job of delivering the plot slowly while still managing to make an interesting book, while most authors unfortunately end up creating a bland book. Since the author delivers the plot slowly, it also helps build suspense and makes the reader excited to figure out the whole story behind Ezra and whatever is watching Hazel. The characters in this book are also unique and enjoyable to read about. I especially enjoyed the friendship between Hazel and Jade, and found it sweet how they care for each other so much that they call each other while walking at night to make sure nothing happens to them while they're alone. The dialogue in the book is well written and flows smoothly throughout as well. Going back to characters, I really like the mysteriousness of Ezra, and how the author only leaves you subtle hints throughout to keep you wondering and hooked onto the story.
