Blood on the Night
Blood on the Night By: scorsha
Description: In a city where the night never ends, a street fighter lays bleeding out in an alley. Enti Sakai is a dead girl. A street fighter who's strange eyes betrayed her to the Kotarous, a gang of witch hunters. As her life leaves her body the only thing she sees is the faces of her murderers. All she knows is the rage that she will not be able to avenge her self. But then, two years later, her eyes open. And reflected in them is the light of the blood moon and the faces of her killers.

Just starting off with the first sentence of the prologue, there are so many abundant descriptions and imagery being used you can just imagine this story being played out so easily. The prologue is an interesting beginning, leaving the reader wondering about the mystery of the cat, and the mystery of this girl. I love that the girl's name is Enti, it's one of the most unique names I've seen. While I read there were a few times it looks like there should be an indent, nothing that can't be fixed with a quick run through. In the first chapter, the way this author writes with the descriptions, you can almost feel the cold, the pain, almost as if you are Enti lying in the alley. I enjoyed reading the third person this story is written in, I think it gives it a certain charm and mystery. Now, in this chapter we are left wondering about the mystery of the raven, of this girl, of the Kotarou. The ending leaves you with more questions to be answered, and leaves me wanting more.
