Interview with Tanisha Khurana, the author of "Untamed Verses"

Greetings Mam..

Hope you are doing good. Let me begin the interview.

Can you tell us about yourself?

I'm Tanisha Khurana a student of BA (H) in English, I'm turning 21 in December. It was my dream to get published since 5 years. I like to dance, sing and even reading books.

When did you first start writing?

I first wrote when I was in 11th

Do you remember what you wrote first?
Yes i remember I wrote an open letter to my best friend.
i don't have it with me now it's with my friend

How did you get interested in writing?

I watch a lot of movies i got interested in writing because i wanted to write a movie script one day

Who are your favourite authors? Why?

My favourite authors are Coleridge, Emily Dickinson, Agatha Christie and some more classical authors. I love them because the way they write is uncensored and mythical.

Tell us about your book, mam.

My book is all poetry it has captured various emotions from love to salvation.

Reason behind this title?

The title I chose as untamed verses was because it completely fits how I write, i never decided to write poetry on specific themes but turns out all my work was divided into various categories

What is the purpose of writing this book?

The purpose of writing poetry for me was to express my emotions which i couldn't or didn't wanted to share with anyone thus i wrote raw stuff and got over with my dilemmas

Is this your debut book?

yes it's my debut book but i have been part of anthologies nationally and soon internationally.

What is a poem according to you?

Poem is a spontaneous work it's like magic spilled over paper

Who has been your inspiration?

My mother has always inspired me to write and to get this my solo book published

What is your passion?

My passion is to be remembered forever for my work

How do you feel when you write?

I feel full of emotions brewing like coffee in my head

What are your other hobbies?

My other hobbies include dancing and singing

How was your publishing journey with blue rose publishers?

I'm obliged to Blue Rose Publishers for providing a platform to me where I could take my work to the next level and become a solo writer, in each step Blue Rose was there to explain and pay importance to each and every thing regarding the book.

When can we expect your next book?

My next book will be out in some years as it takes a lot to write new poems
