AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Greetings doctor,

I'm Dr.Niveditha, a dentist by profession and an author/poet by passion.

Can I have a few minutes of your precious time please, as I'll be taking up a short interview with you...

Before starting I'd like to say that I loved all the poems. Now, without any delay I'll putforth my questions...

1. A few words about you?

I am the pits and summits of destiny. I am of dark times of British Imperialism.

2. What is the purpose of your writing?

Writing is my love like water for sea animals. I feel hurt with several pitfalls.

3. Do you remember your first piece of writing? If yes, can I know when was it and on what was it writing about?

My first writing began in 1981 but I was also engrossed with my Ph.d.work.

4. What would you like to say about your recently published Poetry Anthology "Introspection On Times"?

Introspection. It is for readers to express and there are reviews of five important people with status. Dr Mehta is prof of science yet he is having literary insights.

5. When many hesitate to write on social and political topics, what made you take the bold step of writing about these social issues?

I just care to express my feelings thoughts and visions .,how others react I cannot control .India is a free country.

6. Who is your inspiration?

It comes from observation reflection and from mental analysis and God"s leadership.First prayers earlier after noon reminders.

7. Many poems in this book had a spiritual touch to it. According to you, who is God?

God is in everyone and Shri Krishna spoke so in B.G.

8. A few words about your first published book "Impressions"?

Inspiration gets bifurcated There is integral relationship Impressions has also impressions but Introspection is mature fruit and it is all together unlike Impressions.

9. Are there any other books that have been published apart from "Impressions" and "Introspection On Times"?

Several writings are still pending such as 'The Lake of Fire' British rulers left a bad impression on my psyche.

10. How was this journey of becoming a published author?

it's hard doing all alone . Of course Vishal helped me a lot without him I could not have accomplished publishing task.

11. Which way of publication do you prefer and why?

Blue Rose happened to be the right place and my next book too would be Blue Rose I never leave hood people.

12. What are the books you have been reading recently?

I have been reading Anupam Kher and S Prabhupada Beyond Illusion and Doubt to name a few.

13. What do you think of the rhyme scheme in poems? Is it necessary that every poem should follow the rhyme scheme?

Rhyme Scheme is poetical art but it should not be at the cost of main thematic vision.

14. Who is your favourite poet and why?

My most favourite poets had been John Keats. Robert Browning and T S Eliot.

15. What is your favourite genre? And is there any specific reason for it being your favourite?

poetry has been my favorite genre but I have liking for essays or novels as well

16. If you were asked to choose only 3 books to have with you, what will those 3 books be? And why?

William Shakespeare,DH Lawrence and BhagwatGita and Charles Lamb who remarked that the best person that one knows its only one himself

17. If you were given an option to choose between, going back to the golden olden times and going ahead to the future, which will have a lot more changes than now, what would you choose?

Its future indispensable that won't stop But the eternal values should not be kicked off

18. When can we expect your next book? And can we have any hint about the book?

I have enough to last my next three books Here as well I have drafted 80 compositions including essays in 18 days My next book title appears almost like 'Reveries Reflections and Reminiscences'

19. What are things that appeal to you more?

Spirituality impresses me most and Shri Ananta Maa and Hari are my guides

20. A piece of advice for the budding poets and authors?

Modern young ones are lucky people getting more exposure. But they must not cast off old social values Today we are only imitating the follies of falsity and sheer ignorance of cultural values.

22. Finally, a few words to your readers.

Let us be loving to all irrespective of external things. Be liberal spiritual and not flirting sexual loafers Channelise energies in high values of life see. Know Swami Vivekananda and respect the women as your mother sister daughter.
