"He Is A Victim" by Basheer Ahmed is a story of a young man who has been a victim of sexual abuse right from his childhood. He is also a person who is gifted with the power of premonition. Does it help him or does it land him in trouble? What does he deal with with? Who helps him at the end? What happens when he meets his greatest fear again after a lot many years?

This is all the story is about. Readers need to grab their copies to know more about this.

Blurb (3.5/5) – Well penned.

Writing Style (3.2/5) – Simple and perceptible.

Narration (3.2/5) – Reader friendly. Scenarios are described well. The chapters are well organised and the flow of the story too is interesting. The way the author has handled the element of suspence exceptionally good throughout the story. But I still feel the narration could have better. In a few places the story was monotonous. The unexpected twists and turns are brilliant. Quite an interesting end and start.

Characterisation (3.5/5) – Each and every character has been well built. Readers could easily connect to every character. Their emotions are very well brought out.

Title (3.2/5) – Self explanatory and apt for the theme. But still I felt a better title could have been chosen.

Cover (3.5/5) – Neat and presentable. Well suited for the story.

Errors (3/5)– There were few errors here and there.

The author has done a good job in presenting this story. He has done justice to his purpose of writing this story.

OVERALL (3.2/5):

A wonderful and interesting read with unexpected twists and turns.
