"Education Finance in South Asia (Concepts, Theories and Applications)" by Devi Prasad Prasai PhD, is a book that deals with the concepts, theories and applications of education finance in South Asia. The author has made a good combination of theoretical and practical knowledge. He has tried his best in giving the international as well as regional perspectives to cover the universe.

The author has written this book in a reader friendly way presenting the socioeconomic status, background, moves to the major themes of education finance. The other chapters deals with the equity in finance, adequacy of financing, efficiency in education, affordability, and the innovative schemes such as demand side financing and school choice brought up to delivery education. The chapters are well organised and well explained with references.

The flow of the book is uninterrupted. The cover is apt for the theme. The author has chosen a perfect title that goes well along with the concept of the book. There were no major errors found. Students would find this book much useful for their academic reference.
