Interview with Rekha Nilesh the author of " Stories from my heart "

Greetings Mam..
Hope you are doing good. Let me begin the interview with the first question.

Can you tell us about yourself?

Hi, I am Rekha. I am a lecturer in a junior college. I also own a coaching centre. Born in a Punjabi family and married in a Maharashtrian family.

When did you first start writing?

I started writing when I was in 11th std. I started with writing short poems. You, know teenage girls have fantasies and compose poems sort off things.. I began writing stories three years back.

Do you remember what you wrote first?

Not clearly. But I think a short poetry in Hindi.

How did you get interested in writing?

I am a person who has a fantasy world of her own. I love reading poetries and love stories and while reading them I thought about writing something which came from my heart.

Who are your favourite authors? Why?

I love reading Ravinder Singh, Chetan Bhagat and Preeti Shenoy. Ravinder Singh's "I too had a love story" literally brought goose bumps to me. Among many other writers I also like reading Amrita Pritam. Chetan Bhagat Sir, has a unique way of playing with words.

Tell us about your book.

My book 'Stories from my Heart' is a compilation of two different love stories. Both the stories are based on different characters and their journey of love. The way they meet, depart and again reunite with their loved ones. A beautiful, clean book which would take you to your college days or say your first love experience.

What is the purpose of writing this book?

There was no specific purpose behind writing this book. I started writing it as a hobby and it went on and on. And, now it has become a passion. I didn't even realize when I completed first story. I asked my sisters to read it and they encouraged me to go ahead. So, then I continued writing. I am really grateful to Blue Rose Publication who gave me an opportunity to get my dream published.

Who has been your inspiration?

My mother, my mentor Mrs. Violet Shah and God the almighty of course.

What were the struggles you faced during the journey of this book?

Sometimes because of work pressure I could not concentrate on my writing, then when I finished writing I had no ideas about to get the stories published. So, finding a perfect platform was a bit struggling.

How do you feel when you write?

I am the happiest and most relaxed when I am writing. I forget about the things going around. ha ha ha......

What are your other hobbies?

Writing short poetries, listening to old songs, watching movies, and reading.

How supportive were your family?

My family has been my support system entirely. They encourage me to fulfill my dreams.

How was your publishing journey with blue rose publishers?

I am really very happy and grateful to work with Blue Rose Publication. They are really cooperative and helpful. Looking forward to work with them for my next book too. If I had to rate them with stars It would surely be 5 on 5.
