This is a great book and it's the second in a series and I did a book review on the first so you should probably be reading that one if you haven't read this series.

It didn't disappoint.

So,

Will's curse was just in his mind the whole time...

...

Okay...

In this book I was really conflicted between Jessa and Wessa but I hardcore shipped Jessa for a while and then I started shipping Wessa too.

Btw I already finished the Clockwork Princess so I know what shenanigans go down.

Very spicy shenanigans if I do say so myself.

I thought this book would be more innocent than the mortal instruments since it is set so far in the past where morality is a HUGE thing...

It is in someways....

In others tho...

So

Jem and Tessa were gonna tie the knot at the end of the book and I seriously wanted the last chapter to be a wedding but...

Nah

We just got Will's little sister walking in like "WASSUP Y'ALL"

And I'm not saying I don't like Cecily when I say that, mind you.

She is literally me.

I am literally in this book. I possessed Cecily because the way she acts is so sarcastic and prideful that I'm pretty much shouting ME ME ME MEEEEE at the book all the time.

Cecily is forever.

But that has nothing to do with this book. Anyway.

So, someone lost both the Clockwork Prince, The City of Bones (and Lady Midnight I think) at my library and I nearly punched a hole in the wall.

I waited three months.

Three months

For this pancake-flippen book.

And it was so worth it.

I have never cried

In a book

(Besides when I thought Annabeth was gonna die because she's my ickle baby)

As I did when Jem was talking about his illness and how he didn't want to leave Tessa a widow.

Wait was that in this book? Or in clockwork princess?

Whatever, it's not a spoiler for that book anyway. He definitely mentions it in Clockwork Prince I know that for sure.

Actually I cried pretty hard in The Bridge to Terabithia... And I cried in The Clockwork Princess but that was for a different reason and I was almost 100% sure that the reason for the heartbreak in that book was either a misunderstanding or because of some kind of spell.

Hey, girls, don't read these books when Aunt Flo is in town.

Please.

Trust.

Me.

Rating:

Help me I'm feeling.
