Synopsis:
A collection of poems

My opinions:
- Some minor typographical errors here and there. An example is, instead of spelling 'thumped' you spelled it as 'thunped'. The errors doesn't change the meaning of the poem or that specific line in the poem. It just makes that particular line sound... strange. Just be more careful when you type out the words and it should be alright.

- I'm not good at writing poetry so I won't be able to give an accurate review but you can try to add more variations to your poems. Yes, I know that the ending words in a poems should rhyme or at least sound similar but perhaps you can switch it up a bit. I'll give you an example:

***Pay attention to the underlined words in italics!

Instead of:

The summer gale unbarred the gate

Alas, out came a cursed horse!

Hooves clopping on the wooden floor, moving a strange gait

Maybe you can change it to:

The summer gale unbarred the gate

Alas, out came a cursed horse!

It's efforts to escape come to naught

I know that the example up there is kind of a failure... (See how bad I am at poetry. I'm not even going to consider my example up there as poetry. It's that horrible to look at) but you get my point right? That's what I meant by adding some variations to your poems. Don't take me the wrong way, I'm not saying that your poems do not have any variations because they certainly do. I just think you can add some more. I enjoyed the parts of your poems where the last words didn't rhyme or sound similar at all yet still managed to somehow feel complete (if you get what I mean). :)

- I like how the poems seemed to have a much deeper meaning that what they originally convey. I had fun trying to 'look' between the lines and figure out their double meaning so good job on that.

- As I have mentioned several times, I am not a fan of poetry. I don't usually read it and when I do actually read poems, it's mainly for literature class. And that's about 2 years ago. But this book is pretty good in keeping me interested so great job because I usually end up closing poetry books pretty quickly. Regardless whether the book had a pretty cover or not (because let's all admit it: we all judge a book by its cover sometimes).

Recommendations:
Strongly recommended for poetry lovers. If you are thinking of immersing yourself into the world of poetry or simply want to give poetry a try or even just want to read poetry for fun, I think this would be a good book for you. The meaning of the poems gradually moves from easy to interpret to you having to read in between the lines. It makes it more fun (if you get what I mean) to read poetry and ponder about its various meanings.
