First of all I love the name Verity, it's unique & catchy! The cover is a big no! I don't like the legs coming out of that fishing net.

The third Colleen Hoover book I've purchased this year & it's safe to say this will be my last 😌

The first two works of hers 'it ends with us' & 'it starts with us' were not my cup of tea.

This was at least readable, I like the suspense & the mystery behind it but it wasn't wow!

I don't think CH is my kind of author (maybe, in the future she might prove me wrong...but for now. Eh!)

This story revolve around Verity a very famous author & the secrets she kept from her family until one accident paralysed her. Lowen a low-key author is hired to complete Verity's unfinished works but on the process to complete her work, Lowen finds out a manuscript about the life of Verity & things take an interesting turn after this—until the very end of the book.

I'd rate this three stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Is this book worth a read? Yes! If you like suspense, mystery & thriller.

But it isn't the best thriller book out there, in my honest opinion CH books are hyped by social media. That's all (:
