The jungle book by Rudyard Kipling. Is more of a storybook for children but growing up, it was one of the first serious story I've ever read—it wasn't the typical fairytale story where a damsel in distress is saved by a knight in shining armour. Rather it's a story where the main character Mowgli has to not only save himself but his friends.

You might be living under a rock if you've never heard about this book or the movies, it has adapted over the years.

Mowgli was an infant when he was discovered & raised by a pack of wolves. The boy grows up to be a wolf boy who runs around with a black panther & a bear. His life was no less of an adventure until, the tiger who killed his parents back then discovers him. That's when his jungle friends sends him back to the human village in order to protect him from the blood thirsty killer. But Mowgli was no ordinary boy, he was courages & loyal so he decides to go back to the jungle in order to seek vengeance for his deceased parents & to end the rule of the evil tiger once & for all.

From a child's perspective I'd rate this book five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because as a children's storybook it has one of the most interesting storyline filled with a lot of adventures, friendships, laughters & heartbreaks.

As a kid, this story moved me deeply & I always recommend kids to read it :)
