The cover caught my attention immediately because black is my colour, I love black & theres something about the simplicity & aesthetic of this cover that draws me to it time & again 🍯

Rupi Kaur poetry brings to light the harsh reality of love, abuse & loss.

It was a light, easy read. I finished it in one go. I like it but it wasn't wow! The author has a smooth style of writing & I wish she wrote more.

If anyone is interested to read it, I'd recommend going to a library or reading it online because in my opinion—I don't think the physical copy is worth it for the price (: But if you're a person who likes to collect books as I do & would like to keep a copy, go ahead :)

I'd rate this two & half stars ⭐️ ⭐️✨ because even though I think it should be around 2 stars, I haven't read enough poetry books to judge them.
