The Fault In Our Stars
"The Fault In Our Stars" written by John Green
Review:
"Some infinities are bigger than other infinities."
Okay, every time I see a "The Fault In Our Stars" poster, I get flashbacks. Trust me when I say I don't cry over many novels, "The Fault In Our Stars" broke me. That good type of broke when you know you will remember a part of something good always yet it sort of pains you to know you won't be able to let go no matter how hard you try or need to try. This book will hit you right in the feels, hitting too close to home with very relatable and memorable quotes by the Hazel Grace and Augustus Walters who are the two lovebirds that this book mainly revolves around. Or more like the effect that Augustus has on Hazel's point of view on life.
The two characters are based on a true love story which some readers might not know. When you realize this, it sort of reminds you about how life is not generally centered around you. This book makes you think about the world with a more open-mind. John Green will tend to play with the emotions of his audience but for the love of everything good, it's worth it. The book shows how you never know when you will find love, or make a very good friend, or find someone who reveals your more worthy then you are giving yourself credit for. Amazing book that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Some of my really tough guy friends had a weak spot for this book also, or for the movie at least. Also yup, this book is a movie.
