The Basics)
Zwiaus are dragon-like creatures, which have a special shiny coat that they adore. Zwiaus are one of the floofiest creatures you'll meet, having long luxurious beards and tails.

They also have a special ability; shine-porting. Zwiaus have a special way of moving by teleporting to different areas and even dimensions! They can travel but going through reflective objects, such as mirrors, glass, puddles, etc.

Zwiaus also have a knack for ANYTHING SHINY. They have a big hoarding problem, stuffing their dens with glittering gems and trinkets.

Appearance)
Zwiaus have four eyes, two main eyes to see and two smaller ones below. The smaller ones are able to see shiny reflective surfaces.

As the Zwiaus grow to adulthood, both genders will grow a flooftastic beard! Their floofy tail also grows longer, although males will grow longer tails and have a magnificent mane on their chest. Young Zwiaus start with little to no hair. Females are bigger than males

Government)
The Zwiau government is very free, oldest of the species, or Ancients, are like the elders of the tribe. They oversee but have little influence on the tribe, instead act as meditators to break up arguments and all that wise stuff

Mating)
Zwiaus mate for life, often having a special bond with their partner. When a male Zwiau wants to find a mate, they'll stand and preen their coat. The male will stay there for HOURS, standing there and attracting females with his shiny coat. The male will often surround himself with his treasures.

If two Zwiaus want a kid, or a "Zwi", the mother and father will pick out two of their most precious gems. Together they fuse the objects and cover it in a shiny coat. Over the next few months it will take a form of an egg. The Zwi inside often have the colors of the gems and will have rarer traits the rarer the gem.

1-100= Newborn or "Zwi"
100-300= Teen
300-500= Adult
500-800= Elder
800-1000= Ancient

Name also take a role with age! For example, we have a Zwi names Sij. Zwi has three letters, thus Sij has three letters. Then in teen years she will add a syllable to her name, like Sija. Then when's she an adult she will add another syllable to match the amount of letters in adult, so Sijay and so forth!

Ranks)

Elders- mediators and peacemakers, leader of the tribe. Have little influence over the tribe however

Scholars- collect and maintain records on fluctuating magical spots they can dimension-crawl to

Excavators- go about looking for new magic veins and dimensions to report back to the scholars

Teachers- school children in shine-porting and the safeties of dimension-crawling

Soldiers- trained males that will protect the Zwiaus in case of an attack

Hoarders- buy precious stones and shiny things from excavators. They then distribute (or keep it to themselves) these jewels

Home Planet)
Zwiaus can travel to different places and dimensions. Most Zwiaus live in their home planet, while others live else where, such as Earth.

They live on small planet called Miates, which has two moons. There, they live on a big lush island, Mirror Island. A perfect place where Zwiaus can shine-port with ease.

Powers)
As you know, Zwiaus can teleport using reflective surfaces. They can teleport to different dimensions and places, though they often stop at places that are shiny to steal a bunch of treasure.

Their ears are used as echolocation devices, despite having four eyes, they can't see much that aren't reflective surfaces.

Can talk to the dead, since ghost like shiny stuff and can speak to them through reflective surfaces.

Allies)
Zwiaus are mutual friends of the SoundStep. Zwiaus don't talk too much to them but when they do they throw a killer party! Zwiaus often shine-port to Los Ambience to steal treasure.

Allies and Enemies)
Most Zwiau are peaceful and don't usually socialize with other species. However they do train for military. All males HAVE to train in the military for at least two years. For females it's an option

Diet)
Zwiaus diet consists of bugs and fish. They have master skills at fishing, since they can see their shiny reflective scales.
