As weeks passed,the ring leader's power only grew,gaining more and more slaves...A sword thrower,a target and 2 dare devils.One has telekinesis.

~Yuki's P.O.V~

"Hahaaaaa en garde",The red hared twins played together in the sun.It felt fine watching them.Nobody knew as to how they got here they simply appeared,much like we.Nobody dares to even ask how I got here.To be honest I don't even remember.My role in the circus,you ask?Well I'm the sword thrower.Every circus needs a sword thrower!

None of us knew our names when we first came.None of us knew our orgins.We still are still in the grey about our TRUE identities and our purpouse.My name you ask?,Well my name is simply Yuki...what a silly name...but that's not really relevant.Those twins.They can help us.They can help ME."COME ON EVERYONE THE SHOW WILL START IN 1 HOUR,WE NEED EVERYTHING TO BE READY!",shouted Trin.Not this again."I plundered towards the circus, watching as the children as they packed away their toys.They were so precious...too bad that nobody saw what was underneath those masks...

~Nicole's P.O.V~

"Where do you want this?",I asked, holding a tiger and slightly giggling "hnnnn...Prissy!Retreat!",Steph shouted as the tiger that I held vanished in a beacon of light.She stared me down."I was only joking...ok I wanted to ask you this earlier but....Prissy!?",I giggled,questioning the name Steph gave to her Tiger."Hnuuuuuhhhh...You're older than me but not very mature,I nearly died when I named her...no I have died."she murmered,giving me a murdrerous stare and I smiled"hmph...just prepare the trapese...you have the strength for THAT",she said.I laughed a little, grabbing one of those massive poles that the acrobats were ment to stand on before the show and sticking them into the ground like it weighed nothing."My,my I'm getting better",I praised myself."sorry I had a crap day...",Steph apologised."When is it NOT a bad day? Whats on your mind? please tell me...",I begged as I was somewhat worried about her,however she just walked away murmling."I NEED to get the animals redy...",I waved and put up another pole when I herd a voice"Hello Nicole",It was my friend, Claude.I had met him that day when I nearly lost my Stephie,ever since then he comes to see me once in a while.He comforted me whilst I was in my lowest.He helped me when I  needed it.He was more than a friend...much more than a friend to me..."Hi,Claude.How are you?",I asked,not knowing what to talk about but he gave me a cold reply "fine",in his sovereighn voice.It soothed me to hear his voice but every time he said that word,it was as if he'd just shot me.Unhappy,I sighed"Parys left with a noble man...and ever since then Steph has been acting strange",I coldly said."oh...do not feel anguished my dear,Parys leads a good life in India",He said with a kind tone "Heh...that calms me",somehow,I knew that he would never lie to me.I smiled as I prepared the rest of the trapeze,balancing on the plank that I put in the middle of the two poles.It wasn't like anything would happen to me if I fell.

"C-Claude...please don't ever leave me for long...",I stuttered but I was met with silence."Nicole...I promise...but you have to remember...",he sighed "Remember WHAT , Claude?!...I can't remember...I knew you right?...in my past...didnt I..!?",I snapped at him,not being able to control myself.Once again,there was a silence.I looked around and he was gone."coward",I muttered as I hit myself in the head."I wish I remember...I WANT to remember!",I shreaked.

"Who are you talking to?!",It was the ring master...he kept me isolated...he kept all of the acts isolated..."J-just myself...sir",I shouted but very weakly down at him as he franticly shook the pole,causing me to fall.I spread my wings,gliding down."You're getting better...But",He held a knife and he pulled my head towards his mouth and whispered"Do NOT speak to anyone...DO NOT REMEMBER...You'll get punished....",I couldnt stand it anymore...knife or no knife I tried to slap him yet I couldn't slap him,almost,as if a force held me from him.I twitched strongly"How dare you!?"He shouted, cutting a terifying chelsie smile into my right cheek..."You're lucky that the crowd loves you...",He said as I was grasping for all of the stuffing."now fix this", he muttered as he threw a needle and a role of thread on my head...

~Claude's P.O.V~

How dare he abuse her like that! sadly,I knew that couldn't do anything now,while I was in this form,I was powerless,I am a coward.That feeling still clings to me till this day.It hurt to see how he abused all of those acts...no..he wasn't human...He's a parasite...

Ok,the twins,Yuki,Ash and Stacy are new acts...Stephie is now an animal summoner and an acrobat because Trin has broken her rib...somehow...Ash has telekinises and Stacy is the target for the sword thrower...The twins have the power to set themselves on fire...

~TIME SET 17 : 00 Nicole's P.O.V~

The show was starting,Stephie was welcomng the guests whith the regular la-di-da,The twins prepared the fire hoses.There Yuki,with his regular knife-polishing,humming as he did so and me looking behind the courtans,peeking at the guests and there he was,the man covered by the cloak,the man who comes every time we perform.All I could do at this point was day dream since my act was pretty much at the end.Soon it was my turn,I sighed andcame into the ring.Every time I did this it was the same.Silence.I smiled and I signaled for Stephie who was standing on the side to summon an elephant,It wasn't like I was going to hurt it but the plot was that I'd do the same old charging,stopping with my bare hands trick...and I did so...again the elephant fell to the floor and vanished in a beakon of light as Steph called it in.Such a boring life...
I prepared the table with a knife on it and giggled"I need a voulenteer...with a gut...of steel...with the strength of a lion",I said loudly,once again,not knowing what to say.A lot of people put their hands up "I choose...You",I said as I pointed to the man.He walked down,I noticed a dark mask covering his face but his yellow eyes were visible.He came down to me , I looked into eyes...I recognised those eyes...They belonged to"C-C-C-l-l"

~Claude's P.O.V~

Nicole had passed out into my arms,constant mutters were herd from the mortal crowd,I looked up to them and soon back to her...she was so precious...so...beautiful,made out of fabric and,yet,a heart still a beating heart inside. I picked her up and carried her back stage where all the other acts (Including Stephie)Were waiting...

A couple of the acts ran towards me and tried to patch up Nicole's "mistake",making it seem as if it were all staged.

~Nicole's P.O.V~

The moment I opened my eyes I saw his.I felt his gloved hand grasping mine...It felt....nice eventhough he had taken off the large top hat and cloak,revealing raven black hair and a tail coat,he still had his face covered by the mask.I was inside my hut.There,next to him,stood Stephie looking at me"Phew...what on earth happened there!?",she exclaimed and I simply replied with a confused look,asking what the time was "11:00...Claude here wouldn't leave you",she smiled "C-Claude",I stuttered weakly.Frozen,he said nothing he just tilted his head.His way of acting was awfully similar to my spider friend's.But no one else talked to Claude...was I really going mad?Is Stephie just pretending to see him to make me feel better!?

My eyes whidened"11 O'Clock...I-I have to go!",I shouted as I ran out of my hut,throwing away the blanket covering me,soon realising that I was in my night clothes.I looked behind me inside and gave them both a strange look"What!?...I changed you,don't worry,Nicole",Stephie said giggling.I sighed and smiled at her.Quickly,I ran behind my changing courtan where,hopefully,she'd left my acting clothes.Luckly for her,I found them there but I took my regular clothes out and got changed."bye",I shouted as I waved and ran out...Stephie Just giving Claude a confused look.

~Claude's P.O.V~

I needed to make her remember...If I take this mask off and go telling her that I'm an old friend,knowing her she'd probably slap me,thinking I'm a lier but I could never lie...no...not to her.I looked to Stephie and I noticed her smiling.I asked where I could find the Circus owner,she gave me a brief explanation of the circus' layout.I thanked her and left,looking for that tyrant.

~The Circus master's P.O.V~

"Hmph...I have to renew the contract again...If I want to keep them forever...that ragdoll is acting suspicious",I mumbled,unpacking the new hats that I ordered,only to be met with a stranger."Excuse me...but don't you think it's rude to refer to a beautiflul,young girl as ragdoll,don't you think?",A sovereight male voice sounded from behind me.I stood up from my crouch and sniggered as I turned my head to him."What took you so long to appear...Claude?I've been waiting for far to long for you to arrive...to pick up your sweetheart...what a pitty",I gigglef.Only his eyes were visible through the mask's eye holes,they were the eyes of an exasperated,huligan man"You tyrant.I won't let you damage a single hair on her or anyone else's head.",He said clamly but his eyes,even more outraged.I smiled and beagan to charge at him "what a shame,you would make a great act",I giggled.He just yelped as he dodged and threw a punch.
